Falling Poundage and Tricking the Treats Challenge
 
Leaves are falling already and the pounds will be too! We are headed into the bowls of carbage for the little beggers season. Let's join together to trick the treats by not shoving them into our mouths. We will support each other in finding ways to avoid the carb assaults of this season. We will also work hard to trick out our treats to look our best for the upcoming holiday parties, etc. coming our way.

If this isn't enough of a reason to be good, we have HWMNBN lurking! Yes, he's still around :eek:

The first weigh can be today. If you haven't checked, do so ASAP ;) Our last weigh in will be Wed., Oct. 30th.

If you forget to weigh in, do so as soon as you can. We are a friendly, fun loving, supportive group, but we are ready to kick booty if you need it!

Hoping to get reenlistments, and all new enlistments are welcome as well!

Morning Troops,
I've been gaining and losing the same pounds since January so I'm gonna change one thing. Gonna give up HWC and AS in my coffee, except as a treat 1-2 times a week. I've been reading up on AS a little and know I don't need to be using as much as I do.

I need to reenlist--carbs and pounds have been creeping back up and extra responsibilities/stress at work need to be faced without sabotaging myself.

Down .8 overnight :D Freeman I gain and lose the same couple of pounds all the time, too. Makes me NUTS!

So how do we do this...when we lose, do we recopy the list and put in our new weight? Just wondering how we keep track :)

We just enter the weight once a week only, on Wednesday. But yes, on Wednesday do copy and paste the most recent posting of weights and add your own.

Janice's post about making one change got me thinking: is anyone else planning to tweak anything? I lost a pound this week by returning to a best practice, which is that I am not eating anything after dinner. Nothing. No matter what.

I gave up nuts today... Tossed them in the trash!
I was doing well till I picked up the can of nuts!

I think ricotta crèmes are a problem for me. I don't know for sure though because I'm a one step forward, two steps back kind of loser...up and down. It just seemed like when I make ricotta crèmes an after dinner habit, the losses slow way down, stop, or I see a small gain and it's pulling teeth to drop a pound. So I am cutting out ricotta to see if it helps. Other than that, I haven't gone an iota off plan :dunno:

Plan is to stay on induction levels to get back into the habit of eating well. Then, if not losing, will see what I need to look at. A point from LR is tht you are not to eat between meals and to have (I believe) 4 hours between last meal and bed. I think cutting out the late eating helps me.

Hello! I'd like to join in, please. ;) My starting weight was a little high due to it being post-Labor Day festivities...

I track my calories and watch protein and carb intake. Upping the exercise b/c I'm going to Homecoming in GA the first week of October...trying to fit in smaller pants. Lol.
