Exercise for those with disabilities
Hi everyone!! Unfortunately, I have several physical ailments that make traditional exercise difficult for me. But I have decided today that just because I can't do traditional exercises doesn't mean I can't get some movement in. So this thread is for those of us with physical limitations to brag about and share the exercise we CAN do!!
Today I lifted small weights and did front curls and tricep kickbacks. A little bit is better than nothing.
Anyone with me??
I'm currently restricted from exercise per my neurologist, but when I'm allowed, I do high intensity strength training. I can't do all the muscle groups, and I can't do it all the days I want to, but I do the best I can. That's all we can ask of ourselves. The strength training helps my general mobility, as well as my overall health.
