It's nice to see you. I'm glad you were able to get on line. I got 2 pineapple's in my bountiful basket this morning. they need to ripen but I'll look forward to it.

also got, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, great big peppers (I think they are banana peppers, but not positive). zucchini, green onion, acorn squash, fennel, bananas, grapefruit, apples. I'm probably forgetting something,, lol.

I ordered an add on pack that had more green onions, a big yellow onion, bag of potatoes, 5 red potatoes, a big sweet potato, carrots, radishes. I think that's all but every time I type that I think of something else.

glad you had a good time. what movie did you go to again? I miss Chewie too . I miss lots of wits, *sigh*.

I got dh's lunch packed for him for work tonight. He leaves in about 15 minutes then its just me and the pugmonsters.

I'm tired today. kadie woke me up earlier than I needed. and I've been stuck on the couch watching crack tv (that's what we call lifetime). get sucked into a corny movie and it leads right into the next, lol.

We'll have pictures. We are getting ready at a friends house so they can watch the kids while we get ready and then they will stay there.

No workout today. I was too tired so I napped instead. I worked at8am instead of 9 and it was tiring! I have off tomorrow so I'm planning a workout in the morning and then I have counseling. I feel like now that im working I never sit. Off to baby story time now

Feeling tired tonight. Did not want to get up when my alarm went off. Two more nights at work!! But my days off are so busy anymore. I don't feel like I have much down time.

My quartet has a sing out this Saturday. Our first!!! Can't wait. Hope we're ready for this!!

Made chicken thighs tonight. SO good! And I have lots of leftovers.

Have a great night!

I'm sitting here waiting for the pain to let up in my back. I figure I probably have another hour or so if it goes like it has been. I went and got a few groceries after work then had some leftover pizza for lunch. I'll have a little salad or something light if I'm hungry later.

I bet your quartet will do fine. have fun.

Morning. So super excited for the martins. It's been such a long journey but what a perfect ending!

Uggg. Tired today. Stella was up at 5:30 for some reason and I actually had to rock her to sleep. Then Kyle was up early because he's had a little stomach ache for a few days and he had to go to the bathroom. Tired and of course no rest today. Dh is at work and I'm going to have to figure out when I can get my hair done and stuff before we leave at 3

Anyways..looking forward to a night out

enjoy your night out, even if you are tired. I hope you can find some energy.

I am so happy for them too. can't stop smiling at the finalization .

I started a grocery list for what I need for dinner today and a few things for the week, but got side tracked, lol. should get back to it so I can get to the store and get dinner in the crock pot. My dad is coming over to watch a football game that he doesn't get on his tv so I'm making chili and corn bread for him. I think I'm going to make a big double batch and freeze a bunch of the chili

got dinner in the oven. I had a bunch of peppers left to use up from my last bountiful basket (I think they are banana peppers but I'm using them like chili peppers). I ended up making a chili relleno casserole but this one is not very eggy like most of them. it is a layer of the peppers, topped with some ground beef and then topped with a cheese, milk and egg mixture. there is only 2 eggs in the whole thing though so I don't think you will really taste the egg at all. I had it narrowed down to 2 recipes I was going to try. The other one uses more eggs so will probably taste more like a chili relleno than this one. I chose this one because the added ground beef sounded good. of course, I'm sure you could add meat to any of the recipes, lol. I didn't realize it only used 2 eggs until I was in the middle of making it.

also got the kitchen cleaned up so I can sit and give my back a rest for a while longer while it bakes now.

OH, and I got 40 pounds of ground beef all sealed up in 5# chubs (through zaycon foods). anyway, I'm going to package them in mostly 1# packages and use my food sealer but I needed to open up one of the chubs for dinner so I got 4 1# packages put up in the freezer. I only did those ones in freezer bags though. I'll do the rest of them with the sealer this weekend. didn't feel like getting it out for that little bit so I figured I'll just use those ones first.

Morning. Been so busy here now that I'm working. Mornings are hectic and then I'm spending the afternoon and evenings catching up at home.

My gym routine has been sporadic and kind of gone to the birds. It's hard to get in now BUT I hit a new low and I'm about done losing. Just hoping to really work on muscle tone and maintain my losses.
Was going to go to the gym this morning but Stella was up last night because she got sick twice poor thing. Going to spend the day with her and hope she's ok.

my exercise is zero. I do run around all day at work, but that's it. I'm working on stretching my back 3 times a day so maybe I can get past this pain I have every afternoon after work. if I didn't come home in such pain maybe then I would actually get back into exercising. its just so stinking hard to get up there and do it when I'm in pain for hours after work, ya know? hopefully I can figure out a fix for this.

how is Stella? I hope she is feeling better

What are your plans cor Thanksgiving?? I have to be at work that day at 5:30 so we are going to have dinner on Wednesday night. Invited a friend and her son. So much to do to get the house cleaned.

We are having cornish hens this year instead of turkey. Green bean casserole, honeyed carrots, new potatoes and maybe some mashed cauliflower. Pumpkin mousse and apple dumplings. Don't know if I will have time to do the dumplings, though. Might just buy an apple pie. Can't forget stuffing and cranberry relish either!!!

Definitely going to be a busy week.

Have great day!!!

probably be a small group but my brother and his family could end up here. My Dad and L didn't have any plans. they thought they were going to my sisters house but she is going to be in Florida with her kids. I told them I was planning on just being home so come on over. I got a BIG turkey even though it may end up just us. son and his gf could come too but don't know yet. anyway, I like the leftovers so figured the big turkey would be better. just got it yesterday.

I have no idea what else I'm doing other than stuffing and mashed potatoes. any cooking I plan on doing I plan on things I can make ahead of time (other than the turkey) and just put in the oven to cook, the prep will be all done. even my mashed potatoes I make for holidays I do ahead of time then reheat in the oven. they are SO good!

I'm sure L will offer to bring something too and I'll let her decide. I may suggest pie, though since I don't make crust (always fails for me so I have to buy crust). if she doesn't want to, its no big deal, really.

busy day yesterday. didn't start out to be. I just kind of sat around for the morning, but then I finally decided in the afternoon I NEEDED to get something done. I don't want to do all the heavy cleaning during the week right before thanksgiving when I don't feel good after work most days. so I started moving all the dining room chairs and bar stools and everything that is in the way and next thing I know dd23 came in and took over for me. she vacuumed it, then ran the swiffer sweeper then mopped for me. I was SO thankful because that job always makes me hurt later but I didn't want to ask her because I always ask her to do it for me. anyway, it got done and then I spent most the evening out in the garage helping dh tear apart dd's car to get to the heater core, replaced it, then put it all back together. mostly I held a flashlight for him or held something in place while he put a screw in to hold it. what a job that was. the more he took apart to get to it, the more he found he had to take apart still. but she should have a working heater now so hopefully that fixes her defroster issue and won't have to fight the freezing windshield any more.
