Good Morning Girls,
Got on the scales this morning and at least they are going back down. I had a huge salad for dinner last night and I am going to do the same thing again tonight. I love a chef salad and it keeps me full for the rest of the night, no night time snacking.

Its supposed to be record breaking temps around here today and tomorrow so at least we still have a little bit of summer left

Lil man had a good first day of school, he was really nervous at first he said, but then he found some kids that he remembered from last year and he was fine. The only thing he doesnt like is school is cutting into his video game playing time lol. Kids these days!

Not much else to report, gonna be doing some serious house cleaning this weekend to prepare for the company we are having over, including shampooing my carpets! That should keep me busy.

Have a great Tuesday

Kelly

Good morning!!

Not much to report today, other than I really want to go clothes shopping but I need to drop these couple extra lbs first. So I better keep my nose to the grindstone and get my weight back to normal....

Oh and we have that hot sweltering weather too. A/C is back on. It's supposed to be cool again by Friday.

Morning Ladies!

I made it down to a new decade this morning! woot woot I was up this morning and did 3 10 min weight workout videos.

Gonna try to make mozzerella stuffed burgers for dinner tonight. I hope they are tasty!

Wiz - I've given up clothes shopping! I HATE how EVERYTHING looks at this size. I will, however, buy shoes, lots of shoes!

Kel - glad your lil guy enjoyed his first day of school.

Cindy - If you have an AE near you, you should try their jeans. They have several different fits so you should be able to find a style you like. I can't say enough about how much i like them.

Happy Hump Day Beachers!

Just checking in. Same weight for the last 3 days, but at least my stomach finally settled down.

Cindy - Lucky you to be going to see Bon Jovi. And Wiz, I loved your story. How cool to run into him in a store!

Tina - way to go on your new decade AND on sticking with your exercise. I am having a hard time with my power walking now that I'm back at work because I can't find a good time for it.

Kelly - The little kids at our school started yesterday, and I was watching their parents bring them in. Some of the kids were all excited, some were all upset, some were just as calm as anything. I felt a little pang as I remembered when my son was that age...but it was very quickly replaced by relief that I didn't have to go through that anymore. He was a very difficult customer when it came to going back to school!

It poured rain this morning in Madrid, so I didn't even go out for my coffee break because I didn't have an umbrella (thanks, Mr. Weatherman, for getting it all wrong). And yet here, 25 miles away, it's still dry as a bone, so I will have to get out there and water the garden and pots. I swear I will be happy when it's winter here, because I am so over this daily watering business.

Hope you all have a great day!

Morning Beachers!

w5d3 20 min run is done! I was scared of the 20 min run, but I wasn't too bad. That didn't stop me from wanting to quit, lol, but I did it! Lost another lb. I haven't been this weight in quite awhile!

Luisa - Yeah getting up at 4:30 in the morning to exercise really really stinks! This morning I was thinking I need a rest day I was soooo tired I didn't not want to get up.

The mozzerella stuffed burgers were just ok. At work today we are having a "picnic" I made veggie pizza. Going to try to just sample a few things and not go crazy!

Have a great Thursday!

Happy anniversary, Cindy and DH! Enjoy your special day!

Tina, right now I am getting up at 4:45 just to get to work on time, so imagine if I had to do it an hour earlier! I am going to try doing one of my DVDs in a little while (like around 6 p.m.), but the last time I did one after work, it about finished me off.

Good Morning Girls,
Another day of meetings at work today. I found out that the lead job for my team is back up for grabs, all of a sudden there was a job posting for it and my boss has called a meeting for today, so not sure what is being announced but it sounds interesting none the less. I was lead once before on my team until I got bumped by someone else that had a special certification that I dont have, I think he may have taken a manager job and thats why its back up for grabs, we shall see!!

Anyway, got on the scales this morning and was 184, not where I want to be but at least I am staying around the same area.

Happy Anniversary to Cindy and her hubby!!

Not much else to report in my world, I will be glad when the weekend is here!

Happy Anniversary Cindy!!

Tina, try this turkey burger recipe. We loved them, although I used a bit less chili powder, cumin than listed and I subbed cut up red pepper for the jalapenos (Joe doesn't like things too spicy.) It has chunks of cheddar in it. We grilled them.

Rachael Ray's Official Website - Cheddar-Studded Turkey Burgers

Luisa, 4:45!! Yikes!!

Kelly, hope that job is back open and you are in the running.

Just walked in the door from a grueling meeting with customers (and 2 hour drive each way ugh). I am pouring myself a big glass of wine.

TGIF ladies!

Thanks goodness. I had a rest day. I think I really needed the sleep more than the exercise today.

We had a "cookout" at work yesterday. Tons of food. But I did really well. I am still up .4, but I was ok with that!

I have a smaller pair of jeans on today and they are even comfortable!

Luisa - UGH! that is CRAPPY time to awaken for work! I hope you are able to figure something out that works for you.

Wiz - Thanks, I'll check that recipe out.

Kelly - Good luck!

Cindy - Hope you and your DH had a wonderful anniversary! How is your work drama? Has that calmed down?

Lets work it this weekend Beachers!

Good morning!

Just finished up a great 5-mile run. But oh boy, the scale is still far too high.

Tina, I'm with you - I need a really good weekend.

So, I don't know how much you've seen, but this fire on the Seaside NJ boardwalk is about 6 miles from us. Just horrifying after all we've gone through with Hurricane Sandy. Enough already, give NJ a break!

I've got my Eagles home opener on Sunday!! I'm going with 3 of my brothers and 1 nephew. Should be a great time, with perfect weather (74 and sunny is the forecast!)

TGIF!!!

Happy Friday Ladies!!

Well just when things were starting to calm down for me, more family drama

My sister who lives in Southern CA called me bawling yesterday saying she has no job, no money and is about to be homeless and wants to move back to Oregon. She has 2 kids as well. So I have been looking at airline tics online and talking to her on the phone a bunch to get things figured out. Luckly our adopted parents own some rental properties and are willing to give her a place to live cause I simply dont have room at my place and I think Michael would flip his lid lol. He is already not happy about me paying for airline tics for them cause we cant afford it, but its family and I will always do anything I can to help family in need. The problem is my sister has a history of alcohol and drug abuse, just like our biological mother, so I am a little leary of helping her because I want to make sure she isnt all screwed up or something. We will see how the weekend pans out. I feel sorry for my niece and nephew to be honest, they are innocent kids caught in a mess. My niece contacted me on FB last night and wants really badly to move to Oregon, I told her I would make sure they are safe.

Besides that, this weekend is all about grocery shopping, fishing and getting the house ready for family that is flying in next week to visit.

Have a great weekend girls, I have a feeling I am going to be drinking a lot of wine this weekend lol.

Good Morning Girls,
Well today is my Friday I will be off on vacation for a week. I have been so sore from all the dang house cleaning I have been doing!!I still have more to do as well.

Tomorow morning there is a going away party for my co worker who is leaving, its a team bfast at a local restaurant, should be fun. Then I have to rush home because I have a furniture delivery coming, last night we bought a new headboard and rails and footboard for our bed, it was embarrassing our bed had been sitting on the floor lol. I will be glad to have that, we also got a 55 inch flatscreen tv and blu ray player. I have never owned a blu ray, about time I get with the times lol. In fact my DVD player is the same one I have had for like 10 years, its got a VHS with it if that tells ya anything lol.

Then Thursday I have a hair appt in the morning, then we pick up Michaels dad from the airport at 230, we are taking them out to dinner at Joes Crabshack and then home to relax. Friday we are going fishing during the day till the kids get out of school, then picking them up and all heading to the beach. We rented a beach house for the weekend, and there is a casino near by I cant wait!!

Needless to say I doubt I will be checking in much cause I will be running around lol. Have a great week ladies,

Kelly

Morning Beachers!

Busted out 31 min of running and 14 min of walking this morning. I did 22 min of steady running and then broke the rest of it up with some walking in between.

Tonight the football team is doing a celebrity server, with the Senior players as the celebrities. DS wasn't going to go, but its required of the Seniors, so we are going to have dinner out tonight.

Kel - Sounds like you have a great time planned! Enjoy your family visit!

Cindy - How are you feeling?

Luisa - How's JUDDD working??

I gotta get to work. Happy hump day.

Hi everyone,

Been really busy the last few days

I am down between 6.5 - 7.5 lbs. since I started JUDDD 3 1/2 weeks ago. I bounce around a lot, so I can't really say how much exactly. However, I feel like I have lost inches around the middle, which is one of my biggest problem areas. Honestly, I can't complain at all, seeing as how I have been enjoying lots of my favorite foods every other day.

I wore a pair of shoes I hadn't worn in a long time yesterday, and ended up with blisters that broke and then kept rubbing against the shoe. OUCH!! I had to wear strapless sandals today, and then almost killed myself on the escalator in the metro (subway) when one of my sandals started sliding off. I was hopping and skipping and trying to catch my balance and almost wiped out a young guy in front of me, but I finally managed to catch the handrail and right myself. Whew. Yeah, I'm a klutz. Anyway, I won't be able to wear my walking shoes for a few days, so no exercise with my DVDs for now.

Tina - As I said above, I am doing fine with JUDDD and feel more relaxed about eating in general. I like the fact that I can eat "normally" when I go out or on special occasions. On Saturday we went to a birthday BBQ and I was able to eat a (small) piece of cake and some of the yummy appetizers along with my grilled meat and salad. Congrats on all your exercise!

Cindy - Hope you feel better soon!

Kelly - Have a great time!

Wiz - hope your trip goes well!

Time for dinner, which will probably be tuna salad and grape tomatoes since it's a down day, so that's it from me.

Morning beachers!

Up early and did a light weight workout. I think I need to invest in a video for weights/strength. I might check out the shawn t thing or maybe the jillian michaels shred one.

Luisa - So glad you are liking JUDDD and its working so well for you! I hope your foot heals quickly.

Cindy - Glad you are feeling better.

DS "celebrity" server event made him positive that he NEVER wants to work in a resteraunt. I posted a pic of him with his buss boy towel getting ready to clear a table.

I've ALMOST got my last chair done. I just need to distress it and then add a coat of poly.

Have a great Thursday beachers!

Morning Beachers!

37 min of running and 14 walking! BOOM!

Football tonight. Tomorrow I'm going to see my mom. She is having a really bad flare of some bulging disks in her lower back. She can't sit AT ALL. Been this way for weeks. She's so stubborn! Not sure whats going on for Sunday yet. Probs just some exercise and cleaning/painting.

I dug all of my fall decor out last night. I totally LOVE fall/halloween.

Cindy - I made a HUGE pot of veggie soup on Tuesday and have been having it for lunch ever since!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi all,

I had a whoosh after my down day yesterday: I dropped a little over 2.5 lbs.! Of course, I'm sure it will bounce back up again after my up day today, but hopefully not so much. My foot was better today, so I was able to do a 4-mile power walk, and will hopefully take the dog for a 2-mile walk later on. I saw some nice wild blackberries last week, and if they're still there, I will pick them!

I'm another soup and chili lover. I found a recipe for carrot soup yesterday and happened to have all the ingredients, so I made a pot of that and had a big bowl for dinner, with a hard-boiled egg and a LC light cheese wedge. It was pretty good, and filling, and SB friendly (I didn't put in the optional half-and-half the recipe called for).

Tina - hope your Mom feels better soon.

Cindy - have fun with your DD!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hey gang,

I don't think I've posted on here for over a week, my apologies. It has been nuts for me...2 Eagles home games in 5 days, 2 five hour flights to/from Las Vegas, work in between, a 50th bday party for a friend on Friday and a wedding on Saturday. Now I'm driving to North Jersey for a workshop at a customer's office the last two days.

To be honest, I am exhausted. And my eating has been all over the place.

So, I will give a full check-in tomorrow when I will be working from my home office.

Hope you guys are doing better than me

This is birthday week, , along with a shower for DD yesterday.
Ugh.
Trying to keep everything in moderation and the meals on plan.

I nibbled on very little at the shower, to be polite and did have a small piece of cake.
Last night I made choco chip cookie bars for a meeting today, brownies for DH to take on his golf weekend, and pumpkin bars for my birthday tomorrow.....last night I did test my brownies (small piece) and cookie bars (another small piece)

I have to watch it - DD did say to me the other day "well you have lost some weight". I must be doing something if she noticed something!

Thankfully we have each other!
Wiz - we will be expecting a full report!

Hi Beachers!

Been a busy week! My mom is still not feeling well. I've been making lots of calls on her behalf. Hoping we got some things in the works that will help.

I am starting week 7 of c25k tomorrow. AND i finally broke down and bought a used Polar FT4 watch from Amazon. I got it and programmed it yesterday. I used it this morning. I it already. Can't wait to see how many calories I am burning when I do a 28 min steady run tomorrow.

Friday night before the game me and DD are having dinner with friends who go to the opposing teams school. Should be a good time. Then we are gonna hang together at the game.

Cindy - Its always nice when someone notices!

Wiz - Hope you are getting some rest!

Luisa - I LOVE chili. I'm thinking that sounds pretty good for the weekend

Happy Hump Day beachers!

HI Girls,
I have been MIA during my vacation. Back to work today. We had a great time with the family!!

Im happy that things are back to normal for the rest of this week though. My eating has been out of control, stepped on the scales yesterday and was up to 190 I checked again this morning and was back down a couple pds to 188, I need to get back closer to the 170s for me to be happy. Im planning to go pants shopping soon and I dont want to have to buy a bigger size. Michael did remind me we could always go back to the gym lol, which I know we can, but I just dont feel like it.

My sister and her 2 kids fly in this Saturday, so we will have a house full again, but its only for the weekend.

Well I had better catch up on my work stuff, tons to do around here!
