Don't worry Belle, your next whoosh is just around the corner. Is today a low cal day? If so, you'll probably get a whoosh tomorrow.

I'm getting kinda hungry so I think I might run to the mall and buy some skinny jeans in a smaller size for motivation to not eat crap. lol

Hey all...
I am up at 3:00 am and can't get back to sleep.

Too much stress/worry.
It is nice to come here and see how you all are doing. I have been back on plan for almost a week ( seems longer ) and I am doing fine. However, I have developed a bad energy drink habit that I have to break. They are all LC, but they are expensive to drink everyday and I am starting to crave them.

Hope you all are doing well... Hey FF, we are doing a quick trip to DL too sometime in October. I can't wait!

Beach, have you watched the documentary Hungry for Change? I just watched it and it has given me renewed motivation to eat well and ditch anything processed. I don't even want to feed my family any of that crap anymore. I emptied out the fridge today and loaded it with fruits and veggies only. Hubby will probably be the only one that has a problem eating this way...but whatever, it's better or him. lol

Morning All!

How was everyone's weekend?

I'm up a few pounds today. Not sure if it's because I'm pmsing...or if it's because I ate only fruits and veggies all weekend so it was more carbs than I had been eating before.

Whatever the case...I'm going to stick it out and hope the scale comes back down even with me eating mostly plants. If it keeps going up, I might add eggs into the mix to reduce my daily carb intake. We'll see.

So far I don't miss meat or dairy though, so that's good.

FF - I need to watch that. You know I watched forks over knives in January and it was very eye opening in terms of meat, etc. I bet this is a similar documentary. I'll try to watch it this week. I think you're right about why you're up a little. I think that's the reason I'm not losing as fast as I normally would on low carb. I eat more fruits and veggies than most people do because I rarely eat meat. It will come back off for sure!!! I still use cream in my coffee but I switch between half and half and the coconut creamer that's dairy free.

beach - hang in there!!!!

Hope everyone else had a nice weekend. I'm still hovering at 190 but I am going to get a whoosh soon. I just know it lol!!!

I got the whoosh I've been waiting 2 weeks for!!! Down to 187.2 - total of 22 pounds lost since July 15th. Yay!!! I really needed this whoosh so I'm glad I stuck with it...

I'm cracking up at everyone's responses too. If someone says their grandma died, I'll totally feel like I'm back in college during finals week. lmao

Belle, AMAZING whoosh. I am SO PROUD OF YOU! Can you even remember the last time you were 187? And you made it look so easy! Can't wait until you're back in the 170's!

I'm down a pound today but still up from over the weekend. Hopefully by this weekend it will be gone again.

Hey all. Just maintaining or moving up on the scale lately ... Maintaining would be fine if I was in the 140's... But not the 170's!!! I swear I can never cross over that 160 line!
I may have to go back to JUDDD, but I got depressed, nervous, and i couldn't sleep on it last time.

LCL, maybe instead of JUDDD...you could try doing something like what Belle is doing...which is having just two days a week that are 500 calories. I think maybe that's more do-able than eating 500 calories every other day. I tried it before and I can understand why it drove you insane. lol It sounds so easy...but basically every other day you're going through food withdrawals. Some people can do it with ease, but for me it was kinda tortuous.

Belle, I'm glad that your whoosh stuck! You'll be 185 by Monday. That is my prediction.

I didn't weigh today, waiting until tomorrow or Saturday so that I can hopefully get a nice surprise.

Yeah, I would wake up depressed that I couldn't have food like evryone else... Like I was being punished. But I think it also did something physically or chemically to me where I got depressed a lot faster and over little things. I wasn't sleeping well either. I couldn't get to sleep then I would wake up a few hours later unable to get back to sleep.

It stopped once I stopped JUDDD.

I was seriously thinking of going back... But I think maybe I should just try to hang it out with LC. I am just so impatient!

LCL the 2 days at 500 cals has really worked for me. This week I didn't even do it that closely and still lost...

I feel like that a lot LCL...and then I go crazy and eat like crazy. I finally tried Bob Harpers Jump Start to Skinny and it is a more normal way of eating AND I had great success
...and I'm happier
