I have a steam mop too. It is a green color... Not the shark. I want to say Bissel. I am too lazy to get up to go look at it. I will post the correct brand if I am wrong tomorrow.
I really like it. My sister has three dogs and swears by her shark.

Morning ! I was at 193.8 this morning. Then I made the mistake of stepping back on the scale and it was 194.0. I'm gonna stick with 193.8 - it makes me feel better LOL!

What's everyone else doing this week besides steam mopping their floors? Ha!

Yay!!!!! I would totally stick with the 193.8! You are closer and closer to the 180's!

Good morning to everyone else!

Belle, I have no big plans for the weekend. It's too dang humid here to do anything outdoors. It feels like a freaking swamp outside.

157.3 this morning, so down a couple pounds from yesterday. Finally moving the right direction. I'm still hoping to make it under 155 by Mon.

Hi Olda!

Morning everyone!

Everyone still staying strong and staying on plan?

I'm still doing great here. I've had a few moments in the past days where my cravings were intense, but I've been able to ignore them by making a cup of coffee. TOM showed up yesterday so I'm really hoping for a whoosh once it's gone!

Anybody have any great plans for the weekend? Nothing big planned here. Probably swimming tomorrow and then Sunday I'll stay inside and pretend it's Fall again while I watch football all day.

Beach when I was looking at your hiking pics on FB I was so jealous. Wish I lived in CO. I love hiking the closest I have is Valley Forge Park which has hills. I have to travel between 1-2 hours to get to the Appalachians.

Kitty my DH would totally be that way if I get a steam mop. He's that way with the steam vac/carpet shampooer. He tells me Im doing it wrong.

Morning to everyone!

Workout done. Getting ready for a weekend camping trip. Food will be iffy. Its so hard.

Have a nice weekend.

It feels like Fall again. Bout time!

Amity, you are doing soooo great with the exercise!

And I'm jealous of Beach living in Colorado too. I've always wanted to live there. Maybe someday.

Hey all
Still on plan here. Although I have found that I have to lay off the nuts and salt.

I am finally starting to see patterns in what work and what doesn't. That is one good thing about failing and restarting, failing and restarting...

Hope everyone is doing well! I have the day off ( but I work tomorrow ) so I am going out to get some new clothes. I have an interview for another library system on Thursday!!! Yikes!!!
I hate interviews...

Morning All!

Vicki, can't wait to hear that you reached your 155 goal for Monday!

How are the rest of you doing this weekend? It's been pretty quiet in here.

What's on everyone's menu for the day?

I'm keeping it real low calorie again today. I have a dinner I have to go to on Saturday so I'm going to keep it really low calorie all week in hopes of being able to fit into some of my smaller clothes by then.

Hope you're all having a great on plan weekend!

I had another hectic weekend but back on plan today

my arse is killing me from climbing that mountain! I couldn't find the trail (I was actually on it but doubted myself) and ended up going off trail and headed through the forrest and straight up the mountain. Saved myself a butt-load of time and perhaps miles...but OUCH! I am feeling it. It is a KILLER workout for your legs and butt! I managed to find the trail once I was on top and hiked back down "the gentle sloping trail that switchbacks" and it turns out I was actually on the trail in the first place oh well...I made it way more challenging and fun The dog hates me...my butt hates me...but...

yesterday my DD had marching band and I hauled the trailer full of equipment all over and did the all around band mom stuff....this after my DH's high school reunion the night before. We stayed out too late...DD drove our car home and we walked home much later, after probably too many drinks...but hey, we are responsible when it comes to not driving. They had it at a bowling alley and DD and I bowled 3 games and so my arm is killing me...this growing old stuff is for the birds

Errrrrr.....!
My weight keeps creeping back up. I have been stuck in the 170's for years now! It is really frustrating...

I am really trying now though ... Doing mind games so I don't just go and blow my way of eating because of the scale.

We are going through even more stress than normal as of late, so maybe that is against me too... If stress makes you not lose weight, I am afraid that I am doomed.

Morning

LCL I understand about stress, past couple of years for me was terrible and did not help my weight loss at all. Hang in there and try to remain as positive as you can.

Back from camping and ready to go.

Food this morning was cheesesteak omelette and coffee
L-grilled chicken and salad
D-bunless burger and some vegetable

Going to try and get some miles walking in we will see if I can fit it in.

Belle yeah .4 is much better than 2.5. Glad it came back down for you!

Good morning!

Moving back down the scale today. I almost don't want to talk about it for fear that it will start going up again just to spite me!

Hope everyone is doing well today.

Sounds like you had an awesome weekend Beach! Man, what I wouldn't give to live near you so I could could go hiking through the mountains with you! One of these days I'm going to fly out there for a Broncos game, so we'll go mountain climbing while I'm there.

LCL, you will get out of the 170's during this challenge. I'm sure of it. Just stick with us and we'll talk you down if you ever feel like quitting.

Belle, I started the thread on Sunday, so weigh-ins would be on Sundays...but I kind of gave everyone the option to add their name to the chart if they wanted to weigh..and nobody really did so I think the consensus is that everyone will weigh in and report if they feel like it. lol As for me, I was 186 last week and 181.8 this morning. Yay!

Great job on losing that water weight over night! I knew it would come right back off!

Good morning to everyone else!!!

Hope you all had a great weekend.

One more week of really low calories for me, in preparation for this event I have to go to on Saturday. Wish me luck that I can keep this up.

TOM is still here so I'm still hoping for a nice whoosh once it's gone. Only a few more days.

Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was crazy busy, but so much fun. My oldest son who is in the military was able to come home on Friday night and he brought a couple of his buddies with him, so between all of them and my also my youngest two boys, we had a full house! But lots of laughs, craziness, good times
Well, didn't make it under 155, but I am close, 155.8. So this week I'm going to try real hard to get under 153. I hope you all have a great day!

Vicki, sounds like you had a blast! Nothing better than a bunch of boys in the house to liven things up. That's why I'm so happy I had older brothers growing up. Our house was never boring.

Great job on getting so close to your under 155 goal! 153 for sure this week!

I have a family reunion this weekend and have to bring a dish of some sort. Something that can be served cold or room temp. Any suggestions? LC obviously.

Does it need to be an appetizer? Or a side dish?

You could do a low carb dip with a veggie tray, with low carb veggies for dipping and olives...

Or you could bring a shrimp cocktail platter.

Or a cheese platter with various types of meats like salami or prosciutto....

Or chicken wings....

Or if it needs to be a side dish, you could go with a salad...like a chef salad. Yum.

Or you could do a cold green bean salad. Blanch the green beans and let them cool...then toss with some sesame seed oil, almond slivers, and a few dried cranberries.
