Monday and a little under the weather - as I understand Becky is as well.
Kind of want to stay home today......

Fun, fun weekend. Sad it's over.
DD23 won't be home for a while now....she has clients she is working with and weekends will be tied up with work....She and I do make a good team!

Nothing going on this week. Pretty quiet now for a while.

What's up with everyone here for the week?

Exhausted. Work kicking my butt. I really shouldn't do 12 hour shifts but need the hours. Back for only 8 today. I did have a second nurse for the middle 4 hours and she was needed but the last 4 were very difficult and I finally left at midnight.

Going to gym now to bike and walk. I try to do intervals on treadmill to get my Heart rate up because I really can't reproduce the cardio I get running.

Will be leaving in a few minutes.

Cindy, sounds like a wonderful weekend.

Becky, hope your hip feels better. My right hip hurts when I sit but gets better once I move. It is back related. Funny thing is since I have had this flare up in my lab back down into my thighs my hip has been better.

I really do feel better. I hate not running but I feel better. Now to find the balance with how much I can run before getting into trouble.

Better move it I have limited time.

Morning!

Cindy - sounds like you had a great time! Are there shower pics?
Sorry you don't feel well!

Becky - hope you're on the mend too!

Debbie - I was having hip issues too - yoga instructor says it's the tendons in my hips stretching after being tight for so many years from body building - would running do that too?
She gave me a stretch to do and it really helps.

Today is body building, PEO, a ton of errands - including mailing a package to DS21 in Rome, and yoga at 4:00.
And a house that needs to be cleaned soooooooo badly!!

Hip hurts, fighting a cold too. Feel yucky but could be worse!

Kim's bib number is 3456. Kinda funny! A friend of hers is getting us shirts that say "tram Kim. 3456". Kim got the girls tee shirts and wrote on it "my mommy is 3456" but I couldn't tell her Laura was having the shirts made cuz Laura doing want her knowing til either mile 10 if she can spot us or at the finish line and she adds us all with our shirts

Came home early and caught up on OINB and slept a little.

Off to work and it's my late day, but back to 6 pm. Need to head out early; want to stop at Walgreens to exchange some nailpolish and another stop to exchange some shoes.

DD23 took shower pics and will be posting them - hers are much better than mine, so didn't take many....

DD26 had ultrasound yesterday - Doc said babe will be at least 8 lbs. DD is measuring about 2 weeks bigger, but we all know that really can't be right, so doc said baby is just going to be bigger, but it could be a lb either way.....told DD to just plan on due date. We all know how that goes........I keep telling here to plan on being late - most first babies are............she was excited though as with Thankgiving and Christmas break she will be off about 12 weeks!

I always measured big too. Billy was 2 weeks late. Jordan 17 days early and Michael one week late.

They don't let mothers go two weeks much anymore. If the baby is big and mom small it is hard for some to deliver. I had a horrible first delivery and if it was now they would have done a c section. I had all back labor because he was posterior. No epidural or spinal. I suffered. He came out face up. Luckily he was fine. Funny thing is my other two deliveries were easier. Jordan had issues where the neonatologist was there but he was fine. My two younger boys both have learning issues. I am sure it is genetics not birth related. They look like their dad but all are small like me. I am sure my youngest brother and mom have learning issues. My brother is very smart but had trouble in school. My mom is fine but school was hard for her. I think at their ages now they know how to deal with it. My brother at 52 is in school working on a degree he never could get. Hope my youngest figures it out someday. He is way too much like my youngest brother. Extremely smart but very anxious and has trouble processing. Michael is taking meds for anxiety. They all do or did.

PT at 9 so need to get ready.

Plan to walk tonight with my running group. Most likely I will be alone though. They will run. I would love to try. It is one month today with no running. I tried a little yesterday on treadmill. Very little but felt OK.

See orthopedist next week but I really don't need a thing. I feel better then ever. I just want to stay that way with the wedding coming.

I really need to focus on that.

Better get ready as I leave in 50 minutes.

I have Gracie and need to get alyssa from school at 245 and have to leave at 215.

My pregnancy was exactly like ur first one Debbie.

My upper contacted me and said she had 4 hostess bonuses that a customer did t want so she gave them to me. I ordered 3 necklaces and a CZ tenni bracelet and earrings for Kim for Christmas. I got the set with my last party. I hope she likes hers. I have a party booked for October 20. It's one of the parties that had to be cancelled.

We're having fried chicken tenders with big salads tonight.

Went to PT. decided to go to Walmart since closer then normal to it. Bought things for gift bags for hotel. Bottles of water said 12 for $1. Was labeled wrong but he gave me the price so 36 bottles for $3. Got travel size hand cream at 97 cents a piece, granola bars and individually wrapped mint life savers. Want to get travel packs of Kleenex. I think this will be it. I wlll put a welcome and thanks for coming letter. I will include a schedule for rehearsal dinner through wedding and directions. My biggest problem our people who didn't book using the code for wedding. I am not sure true total of rooms. I may have to buy more. I still need bags. Going to look for reusable cotton ones online.

Now heading to new Germantown Wegmans.

Big sad news of day is our friend Laurel died today of pancreatic cancer. She was 65 or near that. She leaves behind her three devoted daughters and her husband. They were all there. She did her best but never got her wish to see her youngest wed or grand babies. I know she really wanted this. Her oldest had fertility issues and second was not ready as she got married just last year and her husband was still in grad school.

So very sad. Her funeral is tomorrow because of the Jewish holiday on Thursday that won't allow a funeral Thursday or Friday.

I am not good with funerals or loss.

Good morning-
Sorry I've been MIA, nothing exciting, just busy...

Our fundraiser Sunday wasn't as good as we had hoped, but we'll do it again in January and hopefully people will understand it a little better as time goes on...

The other thing that was going on Sunday at our HS was screening healthy kids for cardiac anomalies. The foundation that does the screening was started by a family that lost their healthy athletic HS sophomore a few years ago. Anyway, they screened more than 600 kids and found 8 serious anomalies that were sent to their docs for further testing.

Debbie, so sorry to hear about your friend.

Kelly, 8 serious anomalies is a lot. Wow!!

Funeral at 11 but near where I live.

Got to gym and did hour of Cardio. Split up elliptical, bike, treadmill 20/20/20 or so. Then did PT exercises. I have added but not doing too much.

Better figure out what to wear.

Hoping to go to College Park with something's for house later. Bought small storage cube thing for overflow of toys and books.

Tomorrow I have a work meeting. Working on a project for department. Hope it won't be too much work.
I have PT before.

So busy lately. Good for weight. Sticking at a slightly lower weight but all is good. I have plenty of fat but not going anywhere without a tummy tuck and liposuction. Weight loss doesn't take it away. My stomach has a layer that likes to stick around and my arms and legs always seem fat to me.

Yuck. No wonder you feel awful. Drink extra fluids. Alternate Tylenol and Ibuprofen if you can take it.

Today is the first day I feel human since Sunday. Hope you are feeling better, Becky!
Yesterday I pretty much dozed all morning and started a Rescue Me marathon.
Did get a few things done in the afternoon.

I did also download iOS 7 yesterday on my iPad and iPhone - WOW! What an upgrade!!!

Off to work today - my friend that I used to walk with, wants to start walking again, so we are starting this morning.

Hope everyone is feeling better!

The bug missed me (know on wood!).

Still busy...DH had a surgical procedure yesterday (tumor on a salivary gland) and has a Dr appt today that I need to take him to. Also have Back to School Night at the middle school at 6.

I don't think there's anything going on tomorrow (thank goodness!). Can't believe September is almost over already The month really flew by! Need to seriously start Halloween costumes and getting ready for the Cub Scout Family camp next month.

Padraic is going to Gettysburg next weekend with his Scout Troop. They are going to camp on a battlefield.

Don't know how my weight is. I haven't been weighing lately. Clothes are fitting, so don't think I've gained, but don't think I'm losing either.

Need to get some things cleaned in the house. Have just been too busy and not even home to do them. Doing that this morning before Dr appt. Need to make cookies too, to use up some bananas. Also need to work on my den plans for scouts.

Best get moving. Will try and post more often!

Friday! YAY!!!

LOVE the new iOS7. So much fun to even just play with.
I told you, MK - get an upgrade to a 5! You don't need the 5s!

Today off to work, then a team retreat from 11-4 with some team strategizing, a murder mystery, some action plan planning......

DH off on a bike trip tomorrow - DD and I going to B&BW for a big candle sale, the new Gordman's that just opened up, and a pre birthday lunch.

I have the 5 and did my update on Wednesday night. The best upgrade yet! I heard there's a 5c coming out???

I booked a party for oct 17... That one would be a good one! Let's hope anyway. I've been doing parties that aren't even bringing the minimum in cuz the hostesses aren't inviting enough people and there's no room for declines. She only lives 4 houses down and across the main drag and then her house is first on the street, same street as mine only the main drag divides us. Her daughter and Kim went to school together. She broke a bracelet and she didn't save her receipt, I told her I would replace it for her if she had a party for me and she loves those things so it's good for both of us.

DH away till tomorrow night. Went to alumni weekend at his first College. Meeting a group of friends. It was a two year state school and he transferred to 4 year after. In NY two year schools have dorms and are just like. 4 year program but associates degree given.

I have a lot to do tomorrow. First off will be a long walk.

My mom comes Thursday and I need to clean but will do it Tuesday.

I am excited for Kim running her marathon tomorrow. Couldn't find a way to track online.

Going to bed. My house is so lonely without DH.
