Deb. sounds like a nice weekend.

Jo. Having a freezer is convenient. There was a time when I could have used one. I understand about the thread. Tomorrows weigh in should be a good one for you. Hopefully the can do the least invasive valve replacement on DH.

We are staying home this weekend. I hope everyone has a good one.

Thanks for the great everyone! I know most of you ladies- Deb, Karen, Jo and of course PAT ! though some of you ladies may not remember me, it's been so long since I've posted!

Pat is back- Yayyyy!! Every time you say Hazel chores I have to laugh. Am I the only one besides Pat that knows who Hazel is? Inquiring minds wanna know!

The weather finally turned here in Florida and fall is in the air. Was a hot, muggy and very rainy summer. Looking forward to "winter" and my fave month, October, is right around the corner. I absolutely love Halloween! Maybe I'll dress up this year. We are in a new house with plenty of room to decorate so I will be able to get out all my Halloween ornaments.

A little about me...I am a stay at home Grandma and a Secret/Mystery Shopper going through Mental Pause as Pat puts it and I def. need a walk-in chiller of my own to cool off in! I live with my daughter and dear, sweet grandson who's 8 and the love of my life. I'm currently single n' lovin' it. I really enjoy the mystery shopping and am starting to make decent money from it. The only downfall is a lot of the mystery shops are the fast food sort. I do a shop for Five Guy's and their instructions specifically state to order your burger WITH a bun so I guess the LC influence is everywhere. I do have a Chanel makeup shop to do tomorrow and will be getting a free make-up. Gonna get paid 20 bucks just to have THEM put on my make-up. can't complain!

Don't blow away Pat!

We are staying home this weekend. We smoked ribs and burgers today. I ran into a great frozen meat sale. 10# ribs for $12. 10# hb patties $8. Smoked pork chops. And more. My freezer is full. Packaged it all up with me vacuum sealer.

I did mystery shopping for several years. We were told we couldn't tell anyone what we did or who we shopped , back then. Then I switched to being a sales rep for Kimberly Clark. I didn't care for that so now I am a retail rep working for several companies. Love it.

I get to do Hazels tomorrow.

Snow Pat?? Brrrrr

I couldn't find a sarcastic smiley for Hazels.

I've been going thru and gathering "stuff" to donate to DAV for a while. Too much "stuff".

Off to do more hazels.

My bad, Cheryl! Guess I better keep mum about the who's and the where's of mystery shopping. I won't name names in the future, just describe.

Pat, me and Pete broke up in 2010. We had had a rocky relationship for a lot of years and when my daughter came back, after being gone for 5 years, to take over raising Jake (my dear, sweet grandson) he decided it was time to move on. He relocated to Massachusetts. I miss him sometimes but then I think about all his bad habits and don't miss him anymore.

Bummer on all the wind, Pat! But I'll take the cold! It's been really nice here the past week. The summer was hot but didn't seem as bad as usual maybe because it rained a lot.

It was nice and warm for a few days so got alot of yard work done. I can't believe that I'm mulching leaves already. Today was cold, rainy and windy so just relaxed a took a me day.

Cheryl I got a water infuser at BBB too. But I need to get one more. Wish they came in 2's like to ones Deb got.

Pat I'm getting the wind today too. Stay warm. Got my pellet stove running today. I decorate for fall, went to the pumpkin patch yesterday and got corn stacks and pumpkins.

Mitz mystery shopping sounds like fun. I love to shop and to get paid for it is even better.

Your decorations sound nice! I have to buy fake corn stacks but they still sell real pumpkins and I always buy a few; some to carve and some for decorations.
We had a new family with 4 kids move in yesterday so not sure what I can put outside this year until I see how respectful of others property they are. The last kids that lived there would steal you blind if you weren't careful. The mother gave them absolutely no discipline or care and had DCF called on her several times. She ended up being evicted. I feel for the kids. I can't imagine growing up in that kind of environment.

The mystery shopping is a lot of fun and is pretty profitable. Gives me moolah for Christmas! if you want a referral I would be glad to supply one.

Karen is Mom doing any better?

Lizzy way to go on weight loss! I've never seen wreaths like that. What are they made from? You and your football!

Mitz that's a shame about the neighbor kids taking things.

Misty you are mulching leaves already? Ours haven't started turning yet. We are in the 70's in the day. Everything is still green

Jo did you get your water back?

Tomorrow is weigh in day and it won't be pretty. We ate out once and then Mom made us a big batch of her special homemade spaghetti and meatballs to thank me for helping her. It was wonderful. Now I am back on plan.

Taking Gissie , one of my kitties, to the vet tomorrow. He is using the litter od only part time. Going to see if he has a UTI. Then Wed I am getting a body wave. I just can't do anything with my hair. It has always been fine but it is getting more so as I get older() it just needs a little umph! I hope that's all it gets. We shall see. I may need to go into hiding.

Hope your kitty feels better!

Eating is not good.
Mom surgery tomorrow. They think either remove part of colon, or growth that might be cancerous. Those are two guesses......Mom is 86 and getting weaker, because hasn't been able to eat for days.......

Probably not on line much for few days.

Pat septic shock. Wow. I hope she is doing better

I heard from Jo. Her DH is having the surgery. She is making arrangements to leave the island to be there. So she will be gone a while. Keep her and her DH in your thought and
