How are you today Lucy??

So yesterday I found a white "pocket" in kyles throat. Looked it up and it looked like tonsillitis. Was really nasty. Called and made an appointment for today (earliest they had). Now it's gone?!? If he had strep or something it wouldn't just go away would it? He swore he felt fine and he was eating ok. I don't know, it was so weird!!

Took off from exercise today. Might do some body weight work at nap depending on how I feel. Weight is still creeping down

My dd got her driver's license today. She was so convinced she wasn't going to pass. But she did. The instructor said she did very well.

Was 158.6 today. But I ate off plan tonight. Celebration dinner for dd -- pizza, wings and ice cream. Of course, we ate the ice cream first. lol

Watching Lincoln.

ah, he's growing up!

got my dh off to work for the night. I'm just sitting here waiting for whatever kids are going to show up at my house tonight to show up, lol. dd22 probably will come by after work for awhile an dd24 and her boyfriend are probably staying here tonight but I don't know anything for sure.

Morning. Storms kept us all up last night. Taking the kids to the bike path in a bit to run. Dh had to be to work early so I didn't get up.

had a nice visit with dd24 this morning. went with her to kaiser to draw blood (she needs a titer done for school) but they wouldn't do it without a doctors order. Hopefully they will get that in time for her to get it drawn tomorrow since she leaves Sunday to go back home again. then we went and got coffee and came home. She just left to go back to her bf's parent's place. her and her bf are taking an 8 year old nephew to the fair, I guess.

but I'll see her tonight or at least tomorrow because she asked me what I'm doing tomorrow. I said no plans and she said "you do now" okay? she said we are getting pedicures. yeah! pedi's and time with her.

Saturday we probably won't see her. her boyfriend's sister is getting married.

this summer has been full of them coming home because of family things for his family (weddings, mostly). that's why she took a week off this time because she knew if she just came home for a couple days she wouldn't get to spend time with her family again. just been one of those summers. I can't hardly wait for a couple weeks when we go over to their area to visit but .... then school starts soon after. booooo! I don't wanna go back

Howdy!! Just relaxing for a few minutes before I go practice my music for tonight's sing-out.

159 today! Still below 160! Shocked after all the bad stuff I ate yesterday. Going to be a better eating day today!

I'm sorry stews

My dad comes later today so I won't be around this weekend.

I've made the decision today to return to lc. Not for weight loss much but more for my health. I'm still not feeling good and I'm wondering if my diet is playing a role or not? I'm going to try it out. Gonna be hard!

thanks DP. still hurting this morning but it might be a tad better than last night. having a cup of coffee and more juice. Hopefully will feel comfortable enough to enjoy my time with dd24 today. not sure what time we are going.

let me know what I can do to help, DP. that is the one thing that should be good out of having to do a liquid diet for a short time. I lost a bunch of weight last time, lol. maybe this will kick me back into gear and making good choices again.

I think the pain is starting to ease. not gone, but easing some. I went for a little drive just to get myself out of the house for a short bit after not functioning yesterday. and dd24 and I will go get pedi's soon, I think. no other plans other than I need to do dishes at some point.

Glad you are feeling better. Made it thoroughly first day lc and felt fine. Starting the day off with a slow run with my daddy.

still don't feel good, but I am better, at least. I'm still going to do mostly liquids today again. could have slept longer but needed to get up to go get my produce basket this morning. I should have gone early to volunteer but just couldn't get up that early today. another time. they only ask you do it like once for every 7 times you participate so its not like I really had to be there.

dh is going on a poker motorcycle ride. basically they go on a ride with set stops and get a card at each stop, I think. at least that is what he used to do when he did dirt bike poker rides. they have prizes along the way, and such. this is the first time he's done one on his street bike.

Pizza tonight. Not a good choice, but I didn't feel like cooking and dh brought home pizza.

Does anyone have a sodastream? My brother just bought us one. Need to look at the store tonight and see what kinds they have. Tried the orange mango. Delicious!!!

Ugg. We have colds going around here. Went to bed unable to breathe. Still got up to run. I'm going to NY next weekend for a 5k so I want to keep it up until then

This is our last day of summer break. My baby boy starts school tomorrow!! Sniff sniff
Dh is working so I think ill take the kids to the sprinkler park. Daddy leaves soon

I bet little man will LOVE school. its a bittersweet thing all these phases of kids. I loved and hated each one, lol.

decided not to go to church this morning. I don't do that often when dh is home because he has to miss for work often but between how I've been feeling the last few days and dd24 may be coming this morning I decided to just stay home. my Dad and L are going to text us where they are eating when they get out of church. we'll probably go join them whether or not dd24 is here or not. I'm hoping they will be here so they can see them too.

I can't believe I only have a few more weeks of summer break. I am having a harder time than usual being ready to go back.

I had a terrible time sleeping last night. was up half the night. I did sleep in till about 10:00 which is super late for me but I woke up quite a bit still.

no plans today other than to go see my doc for a med review for my HRT

Kyle did awesome I'm so proud of my little man. I know he is going to do great.

Took Stella for a run while he was gone and did some cleaning.

I also bit the bullet and joined a gym. A really really nice one too. I'm set to go tomorrow and will do some weights. Haven't in a long while so I'm going to ease into this week and next week start a regular workout routine. I have less than 10 ponds to lose but really need some muscle conditioning. Plus there is a nursery so Stella will be in good hands and I can even shower while she's there

First day at the gym done! Feeling like jello. My plan is 3 gym days and 3 runs a week. And Stella did awesome at the nursery. Got some stuff to do around the house, pick Kyle up and then we have a meeting for his school tonight

yes, I do. it makes it hard to make good choices the next day because I have to convince myself its worth it even if the scale doesn't show.

I've been watching old corny episodes of Bonanza lately. LOL! such dramatic acting they had back then.

158.2 for a second day in a row!!! Need to watch what I eat this week. Lots of veggies and fruit. And stay away from the sweets!!

One more night of work and then three nights off. So glad!!!

I did too last week! I also splurged for 8 sessions with a personal trainer. Love/hate relationship. I also have jelly arms! I am shooting at 5 days a week, 2 with strength training upper and lower body and at least 3 days of cardio. My trainer also does an online tracker. She set me up a new account and will analyze each week to see how I am doing as far as the split of protein, carbs, etc.

I have GOT to do this too. I had 2 hard boiled eggs for breakfast and coffee. Not sure for lunch.

DP or anyone else do you have some good healthy snacks and meals that are not hard to make? Also protein snacks for before and after a workout?

I do shakes both before and after usually. Sometimes I do eggs before if I have time. I just add a carb with my shake. Fruit before, starchy carb after

Ate like crap again yesterday so I'm maintaining nicely. I want these lazy few pounds gone!!

My jogging stroller tire popped so no run today. Ill hit the gym for cardio I suppose
