Had 1 slice of pizza last night (and a big salad) and you know what? I do not feel at all guilty about it.

My crazy work day started at 4 AM (!!) on a global conference call. No exercise today, I'm just going to keep on working and finish up early. Sounds like a good plan, if I can pull it off!

Kelly, there is nothing worse than getting someone else's mess dropped in your lap. But I agree that if you get it fixed - you will be the hero!! Go for it.

Have a good day everyone!!

Hi everyone!

Forgot to post yesterday.

I was down 3.5 lbs. after my first down day . This morning, after an up day, I was up 0.9 lbs. From what I have read, this is normal, i.e., you bounce around a lot, so they recommend only weighing once a week (but of course I can't follow that advice since I'm a daily weigher when I'm on track). I wasn't any hungrier yesterday than usual after the down day, and I didn't have any desire to stuff myself (well, no more than usual! ).

Today is another down day, and I'm not dreading it like I did the first one, since it wasn't nearly as bad as I feared it would be...and the first ones are supposed to be the most difficult ones, I think.

Wiz - I wish I liked cooked spinach, but I can only eat it fresh. Even if it's just lightly sauteed, it makes me Hope you really can finish early today!

Kelly - I feel for you! Hope you get the mess cleaned up soon.

Tina and Cindy -

Have a great day, everyone!

WOW! 3.5lbs. That's an eye-opener - good for you.

On the spinach thing, my husband only eats it cooked. No raw. Go figure

Morning Beachers!

Had a delish off plan meal last night. Back at it today. Did c25k w5d2. 8 min of solid running! Think I'll be doing this day for awhile!

Having hot lemon water to help detox from last nights dinner. IDK if it works or not, but I'm gonna try it.

Tracy - Have a safe trip home!

Cindy - Its Football Friday! Haven't done much on my chairs cuz I am trying to get DH motivated to put up the new closet and bathroom door. lol He told me he hated me 3 times while working on the closet door and its still not done. Hoping I get to work on them over the long weekend. I also took tuesday off to try to clean up after getting the doors up.

Luisa - How was the 2nd dd?

Kel - how's the project coming along?

TGIF! Can't wait to go see my senior play some ball tonight!

Hi everyone!

Well, my second down day on Thursday was more difficult for me, because I felt hungrier and got a headache. I struggled through it, though, and was rewarded by being down another couple lbs. yesterday morning, for a total of 5 since Monday.

Unfortunately, I got carried away yesterday when I went out for lunch with a friend, mostly because of the adult beverages involved, which in turn led to throwing caution to the wind. I didn't dare weigh myself this morning! So far I've done really well on this down day: it's after 2 p.m. and I haven't eaten yet, and haven't suffered at all.

Tina - maybe I should try that hot lemon water after my excesses of yesterday!

Wiz - your work schedule always has me . I don't know how you do it!

Cindy - I have to get some things done, too. I haven't done a single thing about getting ready to go back to work on Monday, so I have to get cracking this weekend.

Kelly -

Have a great weekend, everyone!

So....last night our neighbors took us out to dinner as a thank you for throwing them a party and for looking after their home during the many winters we've lived here (this is their vacation home.)

We had never been to this restaurant before because we had the impression it is very pricey. Well, yes, it was definitely on the more expensive side - but I had one of the best dinners I've had all summer. Pan seared scallops with crispy prosciutto, shitake mushrooms, in a small pool of a Jersey corn sauce. OMG. It was so good. Between that, the amazing wine our neighbor picked out, and the shared desserts (that I didn't need!) I did not get on the scale today.

Tina, did your son's team win?

Hope you are all enjoying the long weekend!!
