My back feels fine. It hurts badly when I run. I will test it tomorrow. If painful I won't run much.

MK, your kids are so well traveled.

Cindy, enjoy your weekend with DD. I like Milwaukee.

Becky, glad Kim can run. Her marathon isn't too far off.

Kelly, hope back to school goes well. Did older DS leave?

Jenn, enjoy the bit of summer you have left.

I studied, did volunteer stuff for medical, ran a few errands and then spent 5-9:30 with Isabella. They sent me back to their apartment with her and she screamed Mommy,Poppy, daddy vamanos at the door for an hour. DS came to get us. I told her daddy is coming and we are going down stairs and she stopped immediately and all was good with the world.

Progress at home but the celedon green in the bathroom darker then I thought.
They like it. I don't.

Need to get ready for work.
DH coming home around 10 tonight.

Slept great last night. Either the almost sleepless night before or the melatonin or combo of both made it possible.

I think I haven't been eating enough. Weight dropped almost 2 pounds since last week. Doubt it will stick.

She's found 2 crushed beer cans on her front lawn, the same kind he drinks and he never popped the tab all the way and he would always crush the can. Saturday night and Wednesday night, both were nights that he has the girls and Kim was gone with Cory. Kinda suspicious, so she wants camera on the front of her house. That's what she wants for her bd. they have them at lowes and John can install them. WHY can't he just move on?

If there's movement within the distance of what it's set for it will take a pic and send it to her phone. We can then take it to the police and file trespassing charged plus he's not suppose to be within 500 feet of her without John, me or my niece there.

MK... Probably 20 feet at most, not very far at all. And John thinks of they're that close he's probably peeping too since that's his tendency and obviously he has a problem cuz he was arrested for it which led to their breakup, so much more too that I can't get into here cuz of time but now he's playing on Alyssa's feelings for the family breaking up and blaming mommy for it. WHY can't he just take responsibility for his OWN actions and move on???

I got tetnus, pneumonia and flu shots yesterday and woke up with sore arms, the right one is sore as all get out!

Becky - it's really sad that he is preying on Alyssa's feelings. Who does that to a child?
Prayers that this gets resolved so Kim doesn't have more to deal with.

I am off to Milwaukee today! Taking Chloe with me - got a sedative from the vet and will kennel her for the drive - she hates the car. Don't want to deal with DD26 and DSIL's comments about what she did and didn't do when they have her. They are funny! Their dog is perfect, you know!

Have a good weekend, my friends.....bringing my ipad with me and will be up early as DD sleeps in and will check in then....plus I can watch my shows on my iPad and it gives me something to do!

Resting my back and not running. DH is out doing his.

I am up and will study, run to grocery and maybe drive over to the new house. I want to see the bathroom that is almost finished.

They are starting hardwood refinishing today too. First is getting carpet out and preparing the floors.

They hope to move September 5 or 6th. There is still a lot to do. They painted the dirty stone fireplace white and put some molding up and covered the hole below the raised hearth and the room is lighten up. Mirsa hated the stone.

We are going to a get together late this afternoon for a friend who finished her masters. It is in Arlington,Va at an Italian Restaurant. Not sure who else will come but sure many of our running friends.

Need to go eat. Starving!!

Travel safe Cindy and have fun.

ME too, Cindy and Debbie.

So, tonight is my first Lia Sophia party. I'm very nervous! I have 5 gift cards for those who sign up to host a party... Four $10 to McDonalds and one $50 to Applebee's. they have to agree and then they get to choose an envelop3 a notecard with the gift card enclosed. That's the "game" I chose to play. I hope I get some bookings and it goes well for Heather! I so want her to get some nice things like I did.

I have Gracie so alyssa and Kim can spend a little one on one time together. I never have to beg Gracie to come with me, she would move in of she could. Lol. She doesn't remember their home in xenia, ours is the first home she remembers and she was here almost 2 years til Kim got back on her feet. Doesn't seem like it will be 2 years that they moved to their new home. Time really does fly as you get older.

Cindy, when is Stephanie due? When is her shower?

Debbie, that will be a good time to move, hopefully it will be a cook day and good to get settled before the snow comes.

MaryKay, love that new exercise! I did 10 minutes, that's all I had time for when I did it, I need some MAJOR destressing!!!

Good you got some one on one time with your son, Kelly. Those times become very precious!

How is school going for the kids Jenn? Are u on any committees?

Sending an APB out for Kaye. Miss you posting kaye!!!

Hi!
Becky - I hope they catch Brad too!
And I'm glad you liked it! It looks silly but really works!
How was the party?

Debbie - are they taking lots of before and after pictures of the house?
How was dinner?
Is your back any better?

Cindy - hope the drive went well! And of course their dog is perfect!

Hi!

What's new ladies?

I need to walk the dog and then myself . . . along with a gazillion things to do in the house . . . . but DS21 leaves on Tuesday and I'd rather just hang out with him!

Party did the minimum $250 sales. It was in a rotten area close to where I grew up and people just don't care about looking pretty, they're rough and love being that way but it was good experience. I got a booking out of it and my upper and I went tonsppkebees afterwards and licked out wounds and were glad we made it out alive. Lol

Hello Ladies!

Sorry to have been MIA...just busy trying to enjoy this last bit of Summer while at the same time gearing up for Autumn.

Kids don't go back until next week. However this week we are starting with our school schedule. Starting tonight they are going to bed "on school time" and getting up "on school time". They aren't thrilled with this plan, but that's what is going on!

Padraic has orientation on Wednesday, middle school open house is Wednesday night, and elementary school open house is Thursday night. Also, DH's birthday is Wednesday. Trying to have a small birthday party on Saturday for the younger two and going to have a little surprise back to school party on Monday for all the kids. Going to do a backwards dinner like we do when we go to the beach and they are all getting new t-shirts for school.

Becky-committees...oh yes! Boy Scout Committee Secretary, Cub Scout committe member, CS den leader, and CS Advancement Chair (I also help with the Blue and Gold banquet), and PTA Vice President at the middle school. New school for the younger two so don't know how involved I'll be there.

Will try and do indies later or just catch up as people post!

Hope you all had a good weekend!

P.S. MK-what are your thoughts on the new Doctor?

Hi!

Jenn - glad you won't be bored!

I hope to like the new Doctor!! I remember thinking Matt Smith was WAY too young when he started, but he's grown into the role. This one will be more mature so should bring a different vibe to everything! Not as much running and jumping around!

Becky - glad you're alive too!

Fun, fun weekend with DD23.
We had lunch at Comet, dinner at Jalisco's, and did a lot of running around before and in between. Yesterday we just sat and talked all morning....it was so peaceful - I didn't leave until 12:30!

Busy week ahead and back to fall hours at work....we are on three weeks of no time off and working till 7 on our late nights.

How did it get to be the last week in August?

Morning-
So, since I haven't been around too much. School started for DS16 on Thursday, DS20 left EARLY Saturday morning to go back for pre-season conditioning, followed by DS16 having a normal practice, our parent meeting for the team, out to lunch and replace DS16's broken phone, and then their first game of the season. Its always an exhibition game and the coach makes every effort to get everyone at least a little play time. We won and the only kid that didn't get to play was the kid that skipped Saturday morning's practice. Sunday was an empty calendar space so at least that was good!

We have a lot of new boys on the team this year and the other mom that I work closely with and I felt really good after the meeting with fresh faces and fresh energy. I think its going to be a fun season!

Becky, I'm so glad Kim's hip wasn't fractured.
I hope they catch Brad. Hang in there!

Hi!

DS21 leaves tomorrow for Rome! Wish me luck!!

Kelly - glad you're getting back into the swing of things!

Cindy - sounds like a great weekend! I love Comet!
At least it finally feels like summer and is warm - though DH made me put the AC on!

Debbie - It would sound like we were talking medical! Just instead of "a" doctor it is "the" Doctor!

Becky - sounds like fun!!!

Tuesday and late day - need to get moving and try to get some shower stuff done today during lunch and maybe before work.

MK - I need 70's and preferably lower 70's. It's miserable here - steamy in fact. Plus DD's classroom is inside, no air and she needs cooler!

Kelly - for me there is nothing better than the start of a new school year!!!

DH and I just finished Friday Night Lights. Looking for another series......I did a search and we have watched pretty much all the recommended top series.......when you don't have cable - your TV habits change!

Have a great Tuesday!

My first Lia Sophia is on its way to the hostess and the rest of my kit was shipped this morning. They send the first half and then once u do 2 our of your 3 starter shows they ship the 2nd half. I'm gonna have a lot of jewelry now between when I bought before and with my kit! I have Kim's bd gift from me in that order that's mine and a necklace for each of the girls for Christmas

Having pot roast for dinner so I told Kim and the girls to come over and eat with us. The beef and gravy that's left I'll make the beef and noodles for John to take to Canada on Friday.

Really hot and extremely humid! I cleaned my car out except for the vacuuming and I'll do that tomorrow on the way to Jenny. It started peeking and getting humid so I decided to hold off on the sweeping! Doing a little more cleaning today, my cousin comes in at 5:15 on Thursday. John leaves in Friday around 5 or 530. Once Kim picks the girls up Deb and I will leave and pick mom up for dinner. That's the only day we have free that we can hook up with my mom.

Bbl girls

We are currently watching Orange is the New Black, and I am watching The Killing. All the top shows that are recommended, we already watch/watched!

Hi! The day got away from me!

DS21 left at 3:45 pm today.
He'll arrive in Frankfort Germany at 7:30 am and then Rome at 12:30 pm - their time!
According to Flight Tracker - they've arrived!!
But I don't expect to hear from him until Thursday.
They have a bunch of orientation stuff for them to do!

Wednesday.
I was so busy last night. I usually NEVER go to bed early on my late nights and I was home at 7:15, and in bed at 9!

No Jenn, haven't seen that one. I will check it out. We have been spoiled with everything we have watched - and now feel like we are scraping for good series. And when you watch on Hulu, Netflix, Vudu, Amazon, you have a hard time watching in real time.

Off to work, and another busy day ahead. Lots of open houses tonight, including DD's. Long day for the teachers.......
