.

Ingredients
•1 large red onion
•1 medium red bell pepper
•1 medium yellow bell pepper
•1 1/2 lb. lean, ground turkey meat
•1 tbps. olive oil
•1 tbsp. garlic powder
•1 tbsp. onion powder
•1 tbsp. chili powder
•1 tbps. cumin
•1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce, no sugar added
•1 lb. frozen corn, organic sweet corn is best
•4 cups chicken broth
•1 (15 oz.) can black beans, no sugar added
•1/2 lb. organic corn chips, no sugar added (optional), crushed in to crumbs
•2 vegetable bouillon cubes (we use the Rapunzel brand)
•Salt to taste
•To make it spice, add 1 jar of your favorite salsa (optional)

Directions

In a large soup pot, warm your olive oil and then sauté the onions and bell pepper.

Stir in the turkey meat and brown. Add everything except the black beans and corn chips crumbs (if using) and cook until the meat is done.

If you wish the chili to have a less chunky texture, simply use an immersion blender to blend it up a bit (as we did in the photo above).

Then stir in your black beans and chips and serve.

Wt 201.8

Well I hope to walk today, planning this afternoon. Going to be a hot one again. 90's. So it will be a sweaty walk then a bath for me and Asher.

Fitbit is working out well, Hubby is kicking my butt! He is getting at least 15000 steps. He is doing push-ups and sit-ups in the morning as well.

Asher just got into the laundry room, was wiping floor with dryer sheet. Oh he smells ripe....got to go!

That was some Good Windshield Time!
Chic salad sounds Yummo. Just took out some chix out of the freezer to Grill.
Had a NY & brussel sprouts + salad last nite.

Hey (Hay), Karen...Get it all mowed? All moved into new office?

Still smokey here from the Yosemite fire. Can't do much outdoors when it's like this! It did kind of clear up for a while yesterday when the wind direction switched. Gave DH a window to get out & go for a bike ride. Been cleaning lots since we're stuck indoors. Doing Deep cleaning...sure did need to do that! DH got the tall ladder out & we dusted track lighting & other high stuff. Cleaned mirrors & indoor windows. My neck is sore from doing so much looking UP/wiping/sqeegee'n/cleaning.
Off to Yoga. Yoga classes have been Busy since peeps don't want to get their exercise outdoors. We had 33 peeps in yoga yesterday! The studio was Packed!
Scale is my Amigo...-4#!

Got that field all mowed. They are putting up little squares this evening, and I think I will play the Grandma Card and watch Caleb!!

All moved into new offices, and I love it. Sooooo much space!!! And sunlight (even though drapes during heat of day) I am thoroughly happy with new building (until I get utility bill) but no more rent to pay. Old office will be cleaned out by end of month and keys turned back in.

I bought a "U" shape desk with a hutch (Craigs List) but the hutch was in wrong area. I ended up setting it on the floor in front of the center area, so my monitor is higher, I have an entire work space in front of me, and it gives me a back to the area. It has doors on the front, so I can use it too. It is unorthodox, but I really like it set up this way. and 15 ft of shelves and drawers for my north wall, so I can fill up space slowly. Might even be able to find files!!!!!!! Eventually, that is

Goodmorning, SS to be missing for so long, been so busy and tired. Scale is up and didn't get much exercise in for over a week, was working my own job and work at dispatch at FD at night to cover for others on vacation. I thought I said I do it the end of Sept but guess I was wrong. Off to the gym and my own job today, will be back later to try and catch up. Missed everyone.

HI all!!!
Just read all the good news! Office, furniture, washers dryers, hay, cleaning, and hope that fire is under control soon.

wt 199.6
I think scale needs new batterys. Went from 200 then 185, 189, 190, 195, 196,199.6.

I pulled cover twisted battery, cleaned "feet" off. Then got 199.6 3 times in a row. So I will count that one and go get a new battery this afternoon when I pick up eggs and milk.

loving this fitbit thing!!!

Hey Misty. I was ready to pm you glad you're back.

Good going Lizzy. Funky scale

See you soon Deb.

Got my washer and dryer today. Can't close the laundry area doors. They are too deep. Trying to figure a way to narrow the dryer vent hook up. But I love them.

Karen did you get to ride today ? on getting 2 projects done. Have you gone any further with meditation? I thought that would have been nice when I was going thru my mess, but I couldn't shut my mind down. Maybe need to learn it when things are quieter? Let me know.

Pat are the skies any clearer? I thought as long as as you've been doing yoga you could do any position.

I went out with Mom today. She is doing good. They are cleaning up the lot next to her and behind her. It looks more and more like a neighborhood. They are talking about 3-4 new grocery stores coming to town. We only have 1 destroyed one that hasn't returned. I see some large empty buildings in our future. They also proposed closing 3 lanes on one of our very streets for " beatification" tress etc. that was tabled after everyone complained about what that would do to traffic. Still lots of building , new companies- businesses - retail coming to town. It's really changing. Hopefully the town can support the changes. Kinda exciting.

NOPE! Hey, @ my age there are Limitations! Arm balances w/my knees/quads balanced on my triceps???...are Tough for this Ole Broad!
Or forearm stands or even hand stands are a Reach & then some for Me! Unfortunately, I have some chronic pain issues that come into play when I'm trying to do some of those poses/asanas. Dang it! But...I can do a really Good Head Stand. I can stay up sometimes for 30 breaths!

Glad your Mom is doing well! Things are changing & it does sounds exciting there!

Smoke was a bit better today. We even had some Blue Sky this AM! Tried to go Paddling early...but, the wind picked up & the lake was too rough. Smoke came back this afternoon & remained. Did some more Hazels.
