Eating breakfast and reading post....Yoga maybe I should try that.

Asher watching Barney and friends. Got to go and buy pj's today. He has outgrown all his others. Wearing his T-shirts to bed, then he doesn't have anything to wear during the day! Going up to 18mos. The waist will be too big to at least it will cover his belly.

Walked three times yesterday.

Water...not quite 48oz...

Gro. shoppiing tomorrow, so I can start eating more than just eggs and hamburger!

Cheryl did you try the avocado smoothie yet?

this morning I put 1 cup of blueberries/scoop of vanilla protein powder and 1 whole avocado in the blender with water and almond milk..yum

today I bought some *just peanuts* peanut butter so tomorrow im going to have PB/banana smoothie with kaluha devinci's and almond milk

I find it a lot easier to get my vits down if I take them with a smoothie in the morn

I love all natural pb. I haven't tried the smoothies. I don't have any of the ingredients. How does almond milk taste? Or does everything mask the taste?

Thank Jazz and Pat.

Deb

My sleep is improving on Cymbalta. Pain not sure yet. My hands got to hurting doing yard work today. My shoulder hurts from pull ups. Or what passes for a pull up for me. my hips hurt. But it's all tolerable so maybe it is helping whinning is over.

Just thinking on paper. That's the wrist/ hand I injured a while. Maybe it wasn't the stretch but just the changing positions of my wrist on the broomstick aggravating my wrist. Onward to find a different stretch.

CJ~Looks like U & I R feeling our age 2day! I'm sore 2! Saturday, Yoga instructor put us thru Boot Camp! My rt trapezius/neck is sore & I have a back tinge in my rt lower back rib area. Grrr!
Glad ur sleep is improving.

Deb~Those smoothies sound delish! Need some Kahlua Da'vinci's!
I get fresh peanut & almond butter from my grocery store butter machine. Yummy when I add Splenda to it.

Didn't go 2 yoga this AM. 2 sore from Sat.'s class! Needed a Day Off! Guess going Sun. didn't help matters. Oh, well. Slept in & had a late Brekkers. Went for a walk w/DH around the Hood. Did some outside watering & cleaned 3 bird baths.
Scale -1 this AM.

Found this too

________________________________________________

I not quite sure if this belongs in breakfast, snack, or sweets area as it could be eaten during any of those meals. I have it for breakfast so i am putting it here.

Anyways, this really does taste like a fruit smoothie and it is 100% induction safe.

1/2 cup of sf jello (orange)
1/2 cup of frozen sf jello (orange)
1/4 of a cup or more of sugar free soda (orange)
1 scoop whey protein vanilla (designer whey)
optional SF Davinci (vanilla flavor)

Put it a blender and blend, make sure to blend it all the way.

Based on the ingredients that i used it has 4 carbs.
2 for Designer whey
1 for jello (i am counting the sweetner as 1)
1 for soda (sweetner)

If you dont count the jello or soda its 2. Or however many grams your Whey protein has.

If you choose to add SF syrup make sure the flavor matches your ingredients.

You want to use a soda that is Similar in flavor to your Jello. I was making an orange smoothie so i used orange soda. When i do this with Rasberry jello and Chocolat whey i use Sugar Free Tropicana fruit punch. THe rasberry chocolat one tastes like rasberry truffles.

Anyways the possibilities are endless and it tastes really awsome for breakfast and has lots of protein because of the whey protein.

If anyone tries these let me know what flavor combinations you used so i can try them too.

I like a scoop of vanilla jay robb whey protein, 2 tablespoon chocolate for baking, coconut milk (it is next to the soy milk and almond milk - 45 calories per cup and 1 carb), and a shot glass full of peanut butter toriani syrup add ice and magic bullet. Or strawberry toriani syrup instead of the peanut butter. Or hold the chocolate and use peppermint syrup and a some instant coffee. Oh, the possibilities are endless. Usually all less than 3 carbs.

I am into this smoothie thing. Thanks Karen , Deb etc.
