Eliza to this side too. I freeze my grapes and pick at them when I want a sweet snack, but never realized the high carb count. Glad I don't eat it often cause I could eat a whole bag at once.

Ok now my busy party week start today. I forgot about friends BD tonight at 6, got to go then tomorrow girls coming over, Friday DS 2 BD party, Sat GD BD party then right after that Jack and Jill, then Sun Fire Department annual cookout. Yikes Then back to work on Monday. Way to much for me and most of them are about 2 hours drive. Trying to plan ahead with eating but there will be drinking.

Deb I know Avocado is good but I've never developed a taste for them. Maybe I just haven't fixed them right. Don't like guac.

Spending tomorrow with Mom. Still trying to fix that stupid fence and gates. It is cool and NO rain.

Cheryl have you tried avocado in a smoothie? I put 1/2 a avocado and fruit in my protein shake in the morning and you don't even see green or taste the avocado.

Hi all!!!
Well I just read though the post to catch up. Just this thread, been gone way to long to read all I've missed.
I am in dire need of support. Life has gotton so bleak lately. Won't bore or bring anyone down with details but I have started taking some meds to help.
I know that all the frankfood that I'm eating is not helping. I have not had 30 days of clean eating in over 20 months.
My weight is at 206..... So I have 56 pounds to lose.
DD20 is at home again, going to school in our town. She transfered home due to hubby's chemo treatments and DS13months.
DD16 is going for homeschool her last highschool year. She wanted to finish early and start college next fall and public school would not let her take a double english. That's all the credits she needed to finish. So She is going to do it here.
DS13months is a wild child. Went from baby to mountain climber overnight. He climbs up everything. Out of everything. Sleeps with us due to climbing out of playpen and crib. Not walking yet. Lord help me.
Hubby is done with chemo. He is doing fine. Gained the weight back he lost during treatments.

We moved to a apt that was bigger than the house we were renting. Plan on staying here until we buy in 2 years I hope.

me..........trying to climb out of a dark pit..........sides are lined with sugar filled bombs that keep going off. Eating my feelings need a change.
These boards and you all helped me so much last time. Time to find my way back.

Lizzie. I have wondered about DH. I'm glad to hear he is doing ok. Asher is so cute in his videos. Really growing up quick. I climbed out of my dark pit. we are here for you. One step at a time.

Deb, the avocado/banana/chocolate smoothie sounds heavenly Bet it was thick and yummy.

Cheryl, enjoy the cool weather and the lake house Paula just posted on the other thread that she e-mailed FitBit and they told her they are working on providing a monthly distance walked option.

Lizzy, nice to meet you My DH also went through cancer and chemo and I was so happy to read your DH is done with chemo and doing well

I am still hovering at the entryway to Twoterville, and have been for a week or 10 days already, but still no Twoterville I have been on plan, though, and walking my 10K steps daily, so hopefully the Whoosh Fairy will visit me sometime soon, like tonight

Next week is the official start of work for me - lots of waiver days with lots of sitting not by choice. I need to be really careful with planning both food and exercise. Then the week of the 26th is when the kiddos return to school and the school year begins. Plus, the 24th is college move-in day for my DS. His freshman year, Momma will be shedding tears.

Well today I had 2 eggs fried with 3 pc of bacon
lunch was a hamburger pattie and fried onions in the pan topped with 2 slices of cheese.
Dinner was a I.sausage primavera meal (sp) from Atkins.
Water was awful but I did drink about 40oz of unsweet tea....that's ok right??

Took Asher to the park to swing, he went down slide with DD16 and then 3 times just holding her hands. Climbed up the slide all by himself.

Are you going to stay on induction the whole time or are you going to add carbs as you go along.

Jazz I am hoping twoterville is in your near future. Next couple of weeks sound challenging. School has already started here.

Well, it was just another beautiful day here. Did the Yoga thang this AM & then some errands. Eats were good. I even managed to stay away from DH's pizza that he just made! Scale is holding.

I guess I'll eat veggies as I want them and buy them. No big shopping trips until Tuesday so just picking threw what we have and making due. Wasn't planning on starting back just did it.

Black coffee this am. Asher is playing with blocks this morning. Crawling and slamming them on the concrete floors.....need tylenol!

DD16 broke her phone so I gave her mine. I have a cheap flip phone with no functions. Not even a text keyboard....I hope I can make it.

Well I had 4 fried eggs and some bacon along with my coffee. Baby is down for a nap....so I have 15 minutes before he wakes because I'm not holding him. Yes He only sleep for long periods if he is held, in car seat while car is moving or if I'm lying in bed next to him.
We went 20 minute of screaming last night before he got in bed with us. I need to get him sleeping in the crib for my sanity but because his crib is in our room...can't put him in another room due to him climbing out and cracking head on concrete floor fear.

Patricia, so nice to meet you! I guess Big D is still a party town, but maybe in different ways nowadays. Especially if you are young. Which I'm not I go to bed early to get up early and go to work and by the time I get home, I don't feel like going anywhere.

Hi all.
Wt 204.6

Well I had 2 oz cheese for a snack yesterday
hamburger patty with cheese 3 bacon and fried onions for supper, splash of W. sauce.
Drank 48oz of water.
Went for 2 walks yesterday...first one 45 mins second 20 mins.

Thinking about getting a fitbit... anyone????

Jazz and I have Fitbits. I thought it was a bunch oversell but you know what? I love it.

Pat is the fire near you? You don't need that again.

Oh no, fire! Are they any close to extinguishing it? those forest fires can be so tough to control.....You must live among some beautiful nature. Hope the -1 happens soon for you.

I've been looking into yoga, really want to get into it, soooo many benefits in all areas of life......but at my weight it's been a challenge. I have the Heavyweight Yoga DVD, however, even that is too much for me.

I also want to start doing Thai Chi to center and balance, and it is low impact enough for me to do it. Need to find the time. Now that my kid is going to college, I will have more free time. Ideally, it should be done in the morning at sunrise, but due to work, can't do.

I second Cheryl on the FitBit. The kind I have (FitBit One) was not too expensive. Even though their website is kind of basic, I enjoy being able to "beam" my walking data onto their website for safekeeping. That way I know what I have done over the months without having to record it in a spreadsheet or something.
