Pat. I'm glad everything is good. Sounds chilly up there in the mountains.

Deb I didn't remember the spider bite. They can be awful. I'm glad you have camper. That will make taking off so much easier. And the new ride is nice!! Send some of that food my way

Lake level is going down but I heard on the news there is another round headed our way. Quack quack. . I saw the flash flood on Colorado Springs where I was last week. that's such a pretty area Manitou Springs. That's north of where my brother is. They have been having mud slides and problems because of the big burn areas from earlier in the year. I think their drought is over too

We had a relaxing weekend for the most part. No weighing at the LH. We will see tomorrow. We did the grass mowed there. Then when we got back DH started on ours here. Going to try and get it done before the next downpour. It's so tall and still wet so hard to cut. The bad part of a large yard feeling good.

Perseids Meteor shower peaks tonight & Monday. Go out & look Northeast for them.

Deb yummy breakfast WTG love your new car.

Pat our weather has been about the same with lower temps in the morning. But today was hot in the city but nice breeze here.

Cheryl hope no more rain for you. Is this normal for you this time of year??

Got a real busy weekend coming, don't know how I'm going to do it all. I hate when alot of events fall at the same time and you have to try and make it to all of them. Going major clothes shopping on Wednesday. Nothing fits right anymore.

I was going to convert it from 10 C to F.

If you need rain I hope you get it. Just don't send it here when you are done.

Misty do things not fit right because they are too big now ?

Pat I am going to try and see the shower. There may be trees in the way.

I had a busy working and errand day. Stir fry for dinner. Still 5# to go before I reach my stall weight.

CJ~Cloudy...Bummer! Maybe later when U get up to pee in the wee hrs of the AM?

Deb~@ Least U got the ribs out of ur system! That recipe sounds Yummy. I have a no roll/rice recipe...

CABBAGE ROLL PIE
1 pound ground beef
1 stalk celery, minced
2 tablespoon onion, chopped
3-4 cups cabbage, chopped, 1/3 small cabbage or 8 ounces
2 tablespoon butter
8 small mushrooms, chopped, 3 ounces
Salt, to taste
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Garlic powder, to taste
1 cup chicken broth (homemade preferred)
3/4 cup heavy cream
8 ounce cheddar or Monterey jack cheese, shredded
2 eggs, beaten

Brown the hamburger, celery and onion in a very large nonstick skillet; drain fat. Add the cabbage and butter; cook until the cabbage starts to wilt. Add the mushrooms and cook until the cabbage and mushrooms are very soft and start to brown slightly. Season with pepper, salt and garlic powder to taste. Add the broth and cream; bring to boil and cook on high, stirring occasionally, until reduced and thickened. Watch closely so it doesn't boil over or evaporate completely. Stir in the cheese, then the beaten eggs. Pour into a greased 10-inch pie plate. Bake at 350║ for 25-30 minutes until set.

Makes 6-8 servings
Can be frozen

Deb~Could be? Yum...going to copy ur recipe. It's sounds easy-peasy.

Got to see around 4 meteors last night. One was a fire ball. But, I sure did freeze my arze off hanging outside waiting for them to appear! Burrr!
Going paddling in a bit w/DH & friends. Scale is -1 this AM. I have 27 days to lose those 5# before I go to SF. Sounds doable.

To SF? I have a friend there. It can be kinda chilly. We use to go there when we lived in Vacaville. Many moons ago.

It does sound like a doable goal Pat. I'm going to try for the meteors again tonight. I did wake up to pee but was too sleepy to go look like you suggested.

Karen sounds like DD had a good time and you are a proud Mama.

Deb I haven't seen the new blog. She is great.

Hi everyone May I join in?

Thanks, Deb, for inviting me. I see some familiar faces here

Maybe I should introduce myself...I'm in my 40s and live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of TX. DH and I are soon-to-be empty nesters because our DS is leaving for college this Fall. Thankfully, his college is not too far and I hope to be seeing my baby frequently. I'm a bit anxious about this whole change. The last 18 years of our lives have revolved around DS. The mommy worries continue.

Oh how cool, Cheryl! It's super hot around here right now. But will rain tonight, can't wait!

I'm only 1.5 lbs from Twoterville but have been stuck for like 3 days. Ate a more carbs today - went to 40 net instead of my usual 20 just to see if that will push things along. Got some delicious grapes from the store for my guys and ate a few. Per my online food journal, they are 1 carb per grape! So I made sure I thoroughly enjoyed the 20 individual grapes I ate.
