I originally started at 218 and it took me 6 months to lose 30lbs, then another 6 for the next 10lbs. I've made peace with it though, on WW I only lost 5lbs in 6 months.

Count me in!

I have done this WOE before but never made goal, always got derailed by something. This time I am damned determined, more than ever. I hit over 200lbs for the first time in my life in May (and that number is way higher than I ever got even when pregnant 4x)...So since I started in May, I've lost 31lbs. Stalled at 175 for a long time...carb loaded early last week and wooshed off 4 pounds FINALLY. I never heard of that technique to break a stall but I think it worked for me LOL...though it was totally not intentional. Meaning I was at a social gathering, gave in on some forbiddens, but got right back on plan the next day. A few days later the pesky stall (I'd had for almost 6 weeks) was over and 4 pounds gone. Could be coincidence.

Anyway, October 20th is my daughter's 24th birthday...she lives out of state and it would be way cool to have her here and have her see mom fifty pounds slimmer So yep...goal weight 151 by 10/20. I can do it!!!!!!

I had a bad few days (mostly the weekend) and shot up to 195! But I managed to get reign myself in and I'm back down to 192. So no real damage but no new weight loss either.

Stupid scale flickered back and forth between 191 & 192 this morning, then the danged thing settled on 192. Poo. But I've lost 1.5" off my waist, which is where I carry most of my weight. So, yay!

173 this morning! wooot! After days of just sitting at the same weight, no up no down, I put on a favorite pair of pants yesterday and they were way loose - but, no scale movement.

Finally budged this morning!

18 more to go to hit 20 by October 20! Wooohooooooo!

So here's a funny quandary. For many, MANY years my driver's license weight stated I was 175. And, for many, many years I was at least 25 above that, and the last 4 years I was 50+ above that.

I have to go renew before the end of the month, and take the written test and all that fun stuff....what do I put as my weight now?

A close girlfriend suggested I put the upper end of my goal weight - which is 140. I'm tempted! After all, I'm "only" 33 away from that, and not the 50 I was away from my last fudge the weight!

Awesome on the 1.5 off the waist! I'll often get that, and then a woosh on the scale a couple days later. Crazy how that works, huh?

My license said I was 140, with blond hair and green eyes, for years! I'd renew the license, they'd ask if everything was the same, and somehow with a straight face I'd say yes. At one point I weighed 230! My hair is auburn, and I've been informed my eyes are blue, not green. I was finally honest the last time.
Maybe split the difference between what you weigh now, and your goal weight? 155ish?

Yeah, I just kept going with sure,yeah, it's the same. I wonder if I actually weighed 175 at some point when I put that down?!

I have purple hair...so...yeah...no spot for that on the form. I just choose brown...I vaguely remember brown at some point 20 some years ago

Challenging weekend-out for drinks last night with some friends, local festival tonight. Last night I had 2 gin & club sodas, no carbs and I managed not to binge on carby food afterwards (that's why I rarely drink while trying eat LC). The festival will be a little harder, the whole reason I go is for the bratts and grilled corn. I'll probably try and eat the bratts without the bun, and just take the carb hit with the corn.

I hear ya! I went out (and drank too much) Saturday night, then headed to San Diego Sunday morning. We stayed with friends, hit Sea World Monday and did a little zoo, adventuring today....we'll see what the scale thinks about all that tomorrow. I was good the whole time away...not so much good Saturday night. Ooops.

Crossing my fingers that all that walking at Sea World paid off. heh.

So after a very busy (boozy??) weekend away with DH I've got my act together...I'm now 200 on the nose so starting on the right path. I have a 28 day diet (LC with about 50 carbs a day so not too challenging) and DH is doing it with me too. The major factor is to give up my wine (*whines*) definitely through the week (I'm feeling better already...sleeping much better) and I've got my game face on now! (that's not annoyed it's determination )

190 (as of yesterday). No more beer or wine for me, it took me all week to lose those couple of pounds I put on.
On vacation in Wisconsin. This state has no idea what low carb is-everything is served breaded or with potatoes or pasta! But I've managed before and I can do it again. I was very proud of myself for packing low/no carb snacks for the road trip.

172! Slowly chugging along! Had a week long family vacation with amusement parks, water parks, and all kinds of eating away from home. No big drops in weight, but NO gains! I'll take it!!!

I hit 168.0 this evening, my lowest yet! 17 to go...yikes!

I tend to bounce around about 3 pounds and this weight loss journey has been a VERY slow process as a result. Happy to see wooshes though! Congrats on your loss Mayleesa! Keep it up!!!

Finally! 189 for the last 2 days. I was out of town for 10 days and had all sorts of TMI stomach issues, I didn't think I was ver going to get out of the 190's.

8/10-190
8/25-189 14.5lbs to go!
