Down 4.5 lbs this morning, love the fickleness of water retention! Making apricot pistachio sausages from the farmer's market and radish hash brown patties for breakfast. Can't wait, they smell great.

That looks good Avy. Boy the water weight is flying off!

Pat how did class go? I think Mom will be ok if the bunnies munch a little but not a lot. If they survive the neighborhood cat. He got one of the bird nests in the back yard.

Quiet day. Hot but less humid. Going to play in the dirt tomorrow.

Thanks! It was good, and I have the same for breakfast tomorrow without the work.

Yeah, the water weight come off reasonably quickly... then I get down to the actual fat I gained lol.

To keep entertained, I made DJ Foodie's protein pucks tonight, and a home made jello with frozen fruit cooked down with splenda and gelatin. Should be an interesting treat on days I'm not high on carbs. I might even save it for a few days until I'm solid in ketosis again, but it should keep.

I need more recipes to make and put in the freezer, since I get bored out of my mind by the evenings since I am not working. :P

Driving to Victoria in the morning to see Pacific Rim at the IMAX with a friend. Should be fun. Need to pack some snacks and such so I don't eat more than I should, and more carbs than I would on induction. Thinking my big breakfast, then sunflower seeds in the shell, boiled eggs, celery and cream cheese... and I'm out of options... maybe take an avocado too, I'm not sure.

Pacific Rim looks good

The boys are playing in the dirt and I am supervising. Going to get the leftover down trees moved out of the yard. Probably wont get them cut up until Fall.

We are leaving in about 30 mins to go see it. Also, down another 4 lbs this morning. Almost back to where I was (still 5lbs up from my low stable weight).

I will eat more calories today than my daily plan, but I'll stay low carb! More heavy cream and protein/peanut butter bombs than I would normally consume, and pepperoni sticks. Not strict induction but better than the donuts and popcorn and candy the guys will be stuffing their faces with.

The movie was "ok"... loudest movie I've ever seen. Lots of things blow up, huge action, otherwise terrible story, makes no sense, eye rolling really. :P

Avy I think I'll save my money and not see it.

Cool morning here. DH and DN are back on the tractor working the dirt and leveling high spots. It looks like a nice day. We could sure use some rain but not until we get the dirt spread!

Avy~Good 4U! Yummo pic of ur Brekkers! Good snacking/eats to have available.

Off to go Paddling on the lake. Going early to try & avoid the mass of ski boats that come out later.

Pat did you get you paddle board in before the crazies came our ?

Misty sounds like a good time. A Rocco Day. I used to be a big NASCAR fan. We went to a race in St Louis. Boy is it noisy. I think I would rather watch it on TV. My whole body vibrated.

Well DH got a lot done. He contoured the side back area because water pools on the back patio and in heavy rains pushes water against the walk out basement. He got most of the dirt spread. Have to get the tractor back to the rental place in the morning so he is cleaning it up now. My job was get all the big rocks out and stack them to the side. I'm tuckered out. It was in the 90's today. I don't know how he did it all day.

Going in to get my tires checked today. They are 80000 mile tires and only have about 30000. The car started vibrating bad. DH checked the tires and for some reason the back ones are slick on the outside rim. Then to work.

Yeah Karen I know the feeling. I was in that mode for a couple years. But I don't have that excuse anymore. ill give any support you need!!

Glad you are getting started on the new offices.

Deb you are already getting food from your garden? Lucky!!

Back from the tire place. They gave us a good credit and the ties will only cost about $ 50 each. BUT they said the front tie rod? Is going bad. Then when they went to put the new tires on they noticed that one of the back rims is cracked. $$$ DH came from work and looked it over. So I couldn't drive it home. To dangerous. Caught a ride home. The new rim is order. They will fix the tie rod. Good thing I have a back up car.

They said the rim cracked from hitting the curb. DH looks at me and says Did you hit a curb. My response? I don't drive this car. It's your car

Crazy day at work today, it's been so hot and humid, can''t stand it. Every place has ACs but then you go outside and into a screaming hot car, it makes you so sick.Couldn't wait to get home. DH had the house nice and cold for me. Didn't even want to eat much. Just had BLT roll ups.

Cheryl I love the races, the guys had a great time, but said it was so hot, that they kept putting wet paper towels on the necks. Plus there AC quit on the way home and stuck in traffic for hours. I sure didn't mention how nice it was watching it at home with my AC on high. That alot of rocks to move in that heat. Hope you drank plenty of water. Good price on tires but you lucky the rod didn't break when you were driving.

Karen I love going to all the county fairs around here. Our all start in August. And then a huge horse show at the Big E in Sept. I love watching it. I wouldn't worry to much on weight loss. Your doing so much right now. Just try and set some time aside for you to relax a bit.

Deb lucky you vegies already. Mine are starting to grow, but tomato and peppers are still so tiny. I love to roast cauliflower. I just cut the stems off and break up the tops in small little heads and toss in a bowl with olive oil and salt and pepper and put on cookies sheet and roast at 350 intil they are tender and edges are brown. Takes on a whole different taste. I allso cook and smash them, or steam them or make mock potato salad.

Pat I've still been practicing on my friends paddle boat, not to good at it yet. She's real good. I hate when I fall off which I do all the time. I can't get back up, I just get up on my knees which takes time and then paddle my way home

I always use my passenger seat as my mobile office. Meaning you have to move a pile of "stuff" before you can sit in my vehicle. DH always gripes about the crap in my SUV...... But I swear it would take the bucket on an endloader to get the tools out of his pickup so someone could sit in his pickup. But that is different, because he needs those tools (and rusty other items) during the day..................................

I love it when the rules are all the same.........

Well the Mom saga continues. She was outside this morning and felt a sting on her arm. Looked down and saw a spider skittering away. It started swelling and turning red. She just got back from the ER. Waiting for her pharmacy to open so she can get her Rx filled. She says she feels ok. I told her to keep her alarm system panic button handy for awhile.
