Morning!
Still Full from yesterday! Scale up 1.8...
Ribs, chops, veggie kabobs, slaw & 1 lg glass of chardonnay.

CJ~You do have carpal tunnel rt? Guess you're just not used to those wrist exercises/stretches? My wrists hurt @ times...usually due to arm balances.

Off to Yoga!

Pat no. I was painting inside our trey ceiling and was facing away from the ladder. Forgot I was on the ladder and walked forward. Hit air, then floor and took most of the impact on right wrist. I was in a splint for awhile. Nothing broke. That was about 1 1/2 years ago. It just has never been the same since that. But the swelling from this was in my left finger palm. . maybe I squashed it or put too much pressure on it.

Was I the only one that thought it was Saturday yesterday when you woke up? I kept thinking I needed to get to my eye appointment (which is tomorrow). Ended up taking the dog to the dog park, doing some cleaning and then having a wonderful long nap. Boy I needed it!

And I did a Zumba class tonight .... wow, very intense.

Paddleboarding is so popular down here. I'd love to try it some time.

First official day of vacation! This 2 weeks had been deemed "no calorie vacation" :P Although I don't plan to go overboard, I'm definitely eating things once in a while I would not normally.

Went out this morning, did a little random shopping for our trip to Tofino (west cost Vancouver Island, surfing, most expensive place in Canada...eek!) next week. Went for a drive out to a local farm, walked around, picked a few peas, soaked up a bit too much sun! Only a mild burn around my shoulders. Would normally have worn sunscreen but wasn't planning on the country jaunt!

Also hit up a farmer's market, and will see another couple the next 2 days before heading out to the other coast for hot springs tours, whale watching, beach combing, and rain forest hiking, and botanical garden exploring.

I'm really looking forward to it, and enjoying my time off already!

Hope you enjoy yourself on vacation Avy! Sounds like a fun vacation and I hope you post pics of the springs.

And you're right. It is difficult not to indulge when you are on vacation. One of the best things about Buffalo is the food. We have a sister get together there every year. One sister (I have 5) still lives there and the highlight is having beef on weck - a delish roast beef sandwich on a kimmelweck bun. I am going to have one, but then the rest of the time I am going to stick to chicken wings!

I have vacation planned in early August. Asked the boss to borrow his beach house, which is heavenly. If that isn't possible, we're going to do day trips to St. Augustine, Busch Gardens, Florida Aquarium and play tourists in our own state!

Heading to a gentle yoga class this morning. Yeah, I am hooked!

Vacations sound like fun. It's been a few years since we had one. We do take mini vaca tho.

Woke to a rainbow this morning at the lake house. Looks like showered this weekend. We could use some rain.

Glad the 4th celebrations are over. Going to be another very humid day again today. I'm so mad, we we're going to a friends for a cookout today so I said I'd make a big crock of baked beens. Did that last night and let them cook all night. This AM DH called them to see what we could do to help set up, WELL he said it's cancel sorry I forgot to call you Friday. Now I'm stuck with alot of beans. SS to vent.

Cheryl the wrist I broke hurts at times when I do yogo too. Thanks for the u tube info.

Bucky I did the same thing wrong day, not used to having a work day off. All messed up.

Avy wtg 2 weeks vacation. Going to be fun.

Pat scale up a bit for me too. But I know it was the drinks not the food, so drinking plenty of water now.

day 2 of my vacation and already getting bored lol... Glad we'll be heading out Monday morning for a few days. Stayed low carb today but ate a ton of food, way more than I should have, including more than my fair share of blueberries!

Happy Sunday everyone.

Hot one here so I got the dog walked and then a foray to the dog park. Got some cleaning and laundry done and now chilling until my yoga class at 4:00.

I made the crispy chicken wings that have miniscule carbs. Now they are marinating until ready for their second broil. OMG those smell so good!

Bucky can you post the recipe for the wings, I love wings.

Deb that sounds like a nice thing to do for your tenents, especially if that older and need to know how to get out. Which tat did you get, foot or shoulder?

Amazing Oven Buffalo Wings

I have been perusing Kevin's recipes on here and have a few earmarked to try, but I've been wanting to try the wing recipe. And he posts pictures of the process too. There is a whole forum for his recipes: Memorial to Kevinpa: His Best Recipes - Low Carb Friends

That hot yoga class kicked my butt. That is the last time I do one of those! Between it being so hot and so many people in the room, I was about to pass out!

Back from the lake. It was great time. We did boat rides then came back to the dock and swam, floated and relaxed. There was a big firework display over the lake Sat. Nite. I am nice and relaxed for the coming week.

BBL when I catch up

Deb have avoid time? I bet Buddy had a blast. Are you going to post your tat? Firemen huh??

Avy are you enjoying vaca? Do you have to study or taking a break?

Bucky - a beach house sounds heavenly. Thanks for the recipe site

Misty do you have to wear a brace to weight train? Aren't fireworks over the lake great? Different towns and resorts do them on different weekends here so we get several shows.

Karen you stayed on plan!

Laura I don't know how you do it. It sounds exhausting.

Pat , Jo where are you?
