Weight Loss Goal For June 16-23.
 
Starting today at 241.9. I want to get into the 230's. Whatever I can get in that decade I'll take. That's what I'm shooting for.

How bout yall?

I've tried to start letting my Sunday's be my relax day. Not going off LC, but eating more than I do during the week, so of course I was up this morning. I'm really really striving to get to body combat this afternoon, though.

I'm doing a restart today. I feel like the last month was a wash, and I need to refocus. I follow the plan in Taubes' Why We Get Fat, but I had added and tweaked and it's time to get strict. I like that you are just focusing on this week, since that's exactly what I need right now.

Actually, I just realized I already had a handful of blueberries today, so I'm off track a bit, but I won't go further off track.

Today I'm at 153.0. Good goal for this week, hard to say, maybe 151? More importantly, my goal is just to follow the rules for a week.

Hi, Michelle. How's it going? I've worked out two days in a row. I'd been off track the last two weeks, so that feels good even if they're short workouts. I grocery shopped last night, so today should be strong. Too much cheese yesterday since I didn't have much else in the house.

Weight 151.6. That's a step in the right direction, though I don't want to get complacent!

Welcome Yvonne! Glad to have ya. We used to have quite a few people in these threads but they made me start posting them in the challenge section and hardly anyone looks here, so we've dwindled a bit. I post new threads each week, so be sure to check it out on Sundays!

Congrats on being back. Working out is good even if they are short. You will build up your stamina. It was hell getting back into an hour of body combat after my 50lb re-gain over winter, but I'm just making myself go and it's alright now.

I did go yesterday and worked really hard.

This morning I'm coming in at 241.1, so a new low. Just want to see those 30's this week.

I'd like to hit 147 this week. I ate a lot of carbs and calories over the past weekend so I gained some water, and that has set me back.. If I am able to hit 147 I will do cartwheels up and down my street! ( not really- but you get the idea...)

Lanita, 147 is technically my next goal, but I've gained some so it's not going to happen this week. Can't wait to hear about those cartwheels!

Michelle, congrats on a new low! Yippee! You're almost there. I haven't heard of Body Combat, but it sounds intense!

151.2 today. Followed the rules yesterday.

151.4 today. Still a few days to reach my goal of 151 this week. Today is DD's birthday, but I won't be having cake and ice cream. I've been sticking to the plan.

This morning I weighed in at 147.2, so if I keep going at this rate for the weekend, I think I can shed the .2 and meet my goal by Monday morning. I'm having a hard time with motivation for the past week or so. I'm soooo close.

I don't think I'm going to make it yet again. I've been doing everything right but my body just isn't cooperating. I was 245.5 yesterday, I'm finally back down to 242.5 this morning.

152.4! Not the direction I was hoping for. I did stay away from the cake, etc, but I ate extra protein to help. I didn't want to face it with any hunger at all, ya know? Today should be better.

tttmom and Lanita, we're rooting for you! Still 3 days to make it happen. Michelle, sorry it isn't cooperating. It must feel good to see that 3# go back down today.

Keep on hanging in there! That's all we can do.

Ended 151.6. Didn't reach 151. However, I did reach my goal of following the rules in Why We Get Fat. And I got six workouts in this week! Shorter than usual, but better than I did the two weeks before.

This week I'm going to up my veggies and decrease my protein a bit. I seem to be more sensitive to excess protein than leafy greens. I'm going to allow 3 oz protein per meal and see if that helps. Also, no cheese. I told myself no cheese last week, but I didn't stick to it.

Weight loss goal for coming week: 150.

I made it under my weekly goal of 147. This morning's weigh-in was 146.6.
I'm feeling weird. I have stayed really low carb- under 20g net carbs, 95% of the
time since Mid-March when I started Atkins.. I've lost twelve pounds in a little over three months. I'm not a fast loser by any means.. But anyway... I feel weird. I have 1.6 lbs to lose to meet my goal and I just now FINALLY feel like I've gotten comfortable with this woe. I've just now started to lose weight every week..

Yes, I drink plenty of water, coffee, etc...

I've been doing this long enough I know the drill, doesn't make it any less annoying.
