Sun is out here, yesterday our internet was down for hours and today the power blew in my office and they still don't know what's wrong. So a very boring day at work after 11, no puter so couldn't do a lot. Hopefully they will hook me up to power somehow before morning or its going to be a crazy day. On a good note day 4 of induction and feeling better today then yesterday. Going to be a nice night for a walk. It was so good to get out last night. Hope your all doing well, only have a second but want to stop in and say hi!!

Internet and power problems seem to be going around.

Glad you are better Jo

Deb sounds like Yoga made you feel better. So you already have a new weekend person lined up?

Laura I can sympathize. It seems like we are always renovating.

Pat glad you are less gassy From 40's to 80's in the same day.

Cloudy but it quit raining. I just took LD for a walk.

Pink Radish Dressing

3/4-1 cup quartered radishes
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp. white vinegar
3 tbsp. sour cream
1 cup egg based mayonnaise

Process radish, garlic and vinegar in food processor until fine. Whisk in sour cream and mayo into radish mixture until well blended. Refrigerate. Yield 2 cups. Great for induction but not so great if you doing low fat.

friends!!!

BUSY is the word of the week here! Just got home from store...getting the essentials for upcoming events...nails, teeth whitening strips, panties, hair highlighting kit etc.

We visited TWO parks yesterday. They are rated from 1-3 stars depending on length and difficulty. We did a 2 star and THEN a 3 star. That second one by the lake is MURDER! ALL uphill. I swear I climbed a mountain LOL A bit sore today, but nothing serious. Felt good to get the old pumping and muscles moving

Had some yummy turkey and green beans for supper. A lil leftover bday LC cheesecake for dessert.

Scale is bouncing between 189 and 190. Waiting for a drop to new #. TOM has arrived so it may not be till thats over

Gotta run back out to get DD from work. Laters

So, I bought a new scale last night, one that measures body fat etc too. They are not accurate, but, I want to measure the trend of fat loss/muscle gain, since for 2 weeks the scale doesn't want to cooperate, and I know I must be doing something, with the eating right and working out! So, old scale said 181.2 this morning, new one 180.8. Either way, it's a loss, and I'll take it lol.

Oh, i also bought a hate rate monitor/pedometer watch thingy, but I think I will end up returnign it and just sucking it up and buying a fitbit. Any fitbit users here?

Saw my personal trainer for the first time tonight. She gave me a good workout, and didn't kill me, so I guess I'll keep her. :P

Saturday June 1, 2013 182.80
Sunday June 2, 2013 180.60
Monday June 3, 2013 180.80
Tuesday June 4, 2013 181.40
Wednes June 5, 2013 180.80

LOL... I'm afraid I will lose it too, but I lost my mind a long time ago and I don't miss that, so I think I'll be fine!

It has been sunny here more or less since Sunday, might finally get summer... It's nice and warm finally too, but not what I would consider hot. I will take what I can get!

Cheryl nothing but sunshine till next week, 20 C/68F today and 22c/72 F for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Perfect weather for Teddy birthday tomorrow we can have the dinner in the screened in porch with 22 teens there will be overflow into the yard and perfect weather for our 10 km thingy Saturday morning. I am pretty excited for that. Then I think an outdoor Wash and Toss sorta weekend. There will be lots of junk around tomorrow night but I am going to stick to my WOE!! Day 6th and I feel great, bloat is all gone and I expect I am around the weight I was before my week or more long binge. I expect I am walking into a mess in my office this morning as they were talking about tearing down walks to find the problem when I left yesterday. Deb I have never has the dressing go bad but then it next last a long time around here. IIf the dates on your sour cream are good then I would say it will last over a week. I have had it for a week and just shake it up when I want to use it. BTW the original recipe called for 1 clove or garlic. I always tell people 2 but I use 3 or 4 but I love the strong fresh garlic taste on my salad. Its pretty too!! Avy you sound like you are doing great, our weigh is about the same and my body seem to love being 180-185 in fact it likes it to much so that why I am trying one month of induction with lots of exercise. We will see! Keep up the great work. Lisa you sound very busy but enjoy the moments. I love turkey.. The one thing we never seem to eat enough . Well everyone get out there and have a great day!!

WOE: Trying to resist anything white.

Another beautiful day here!
Going SUP'n on the Lake in a bit. Went Tues...& paddled for about 2hrs.

Deb~I make my own vinaigrette...it's easy and delish!
It's usually 3 to 1 mixture...3 parts EVOO to 1 part vinegar:
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard or more
1 tsp minced fresh herbs (e.g. parsley, chives, tarragon) or any dried herbs like oregano/tarragon etc.
salt and ground pepper (or freshly ground black pepper), to taste
I also use Mrs. Dash in it.
Whisk it up & pour into a bottle/jar.
