Pats on top!

DH just got called to work. Woke me.

Yeah. For many years. I started with 1.5 melatonin and 12.5 Benadryl. Now I'm up to 5 Mel. and 25 Ben. I tried time release Mel. but I was drowsy during the day.

I've had the Fibro stuff so long it's part of me. Don't really remember otherwise. I am jealous sometimes when you all talk about your activities. but I could have something so much worse. So I'm thankful.

Came in to work and heard this. A search effort is underway on the James Bay Coast in northern Ontario after an accident involving an Ornge air ambulance with two pilots and two paramedics aboard. Scary stuff and everyone is worried we dont know yet who was on the helicopter. They were going up the coast to pick up a patient for us. Everyone is worried and scared. We all know the paramedics and some of the pilots. I feel so sad. CBC is reporting them all dead but I don't think they really know for sure yet. Keep them in your prays.

Sad day at the hospital there were no survivors. One of the paramedics wife is a teacher at the school and they just had their first baby. The other paramedic leaves behind 3 children. I dont know the pilots one was new and had just started. Sad day, this is the same helicopter that lands in my back yard all the time...

Awoke with a migraine this morning, so havent really dragged myself far from the bed. Still kinda hanging on despite the meds.

I had a breakfast bowl even though I wasnt really hungry. Looking forward to some of those cheesecakes later on.

Just went back and read thru some old threads and I realize I was all the way down to 133.5 back in spring 2010 I was so close to ULTIMATE goal of 125!!!

I was following the "2 shakes and a LC meal" plan. Thats basically what I'm doing now, and although I'm a tad older now, I think I can make it back to a healthy weight. For me thats around 145.

I would love to lose quickly of course, but at this point I will take whatever I can get...even if it takes years

I honestly FEEL better eating this way and need to remind myself of that when the carby junk calls to me.

DOUGHNUTS are my number 1 nemesis! Emmalee may have to switch dance schools cuz there is a 24 hour shoppe right across the street and you can always smell them being made!

My is Monday...decided to tell DH I want a LC cheesecake this year...for me, holidays should not be a reason to stray from plan. There r plenty of *fabulous*, yummy tasting LC options.

Emmalee will still want cupcakes so I will whip up a batch of those for the family. More cheesecake for me ...I'll put in the freezer to enjoy every once in awhile

Hope you have luck getting back down there.
I can sympathize. I was down to 170 several years ago. And then the creep began.......again!!

Cheryl~ I forgot you asked...WATP is Walk Away the Pounds with Leslie Sansone. Some of the dvds use weights in between walking and another has jog segments in between. I like intervals And thanks to Pat for providing the Fluff recipe. My fave flavors are peach and raspberry. The shakes help me keep cals in check. Not a big deal at my weight right now but as I lose I usually have to restrict a bit and this helps. I'm just comfortable doing it cuz it's what I know

Karen~ Yeah...it just really sneaks up on you. Even when I had to go to bigger sizes, I would tell myself, I didnt look that bad, but not so I stopped weighing and THAT wasnt good either...denial. When I saw that 199, I decided ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Back on LCF feels like coming home again and I am so happy to have good friends along for this journey

I think that's what's so great about LC. There are so many different ways to do it.

Ahh. Walking. I can do that. Jogging probably not now but I'm hoping to get there again. Weights maybe a real light one. I can start with cans of corn. Put them to use til I can up my carbs.

Tornado watch. I hope this is the last of it. They were all south or west of yesterday. And no monster ones. So far so good.

I've been up down up down weight wise for the past 2 years. I thought once I met goal I had it made. Oh how innocent.

Just entered my custom foods into my fitness tracker. I like being able to just click the mouse and keep track of daily numbers. The food diary on paper is a drag

Did 20 minutes in the gym this morning.......and just had 1/2 hour on a horse tonight.
I will feel it in the morning. But sunshine was great today.

No rain in the forecast, so maybe it will dry out some here.
