My body is still being stupid! But I have 3 days off so I'm willing to compromise.

Still debating on the fitbit, I'll probably order it by the end of the weekend and take back the thing I bought.

I figure if the scale shows an increase in muscle and a decrease in fat (hopefully) after 30 days of working out and yoga 6 days a week, I'll feel it was worth the $50, even if my body weight stays stubbornly the same. I know I can feel my body changing.

Mission carb balance whole wheat tortilla. Cut into wedges and bake or fry. I haven't tried it but its supposed to be good

Cheese. Crisps. Zucchini chips

I use L-Glutamine for cravings in general, sugar mostly. Works great.

For crunchy snacks, I have done the following:

Pepperoni chips in the microwave
Cheese chips done the same
Celery cut into bite sized pieces dipped in something or eaten like a chip
Pork rinds (i need to be desperate though)
Cucumber chips in the dehydrator
Apples (if you can handle them) super thin in the dehydrator
Nuts or seeds, portioned out of course

Also, for anyone suffering and who wants chocolate cake, someone on Facebook posted this a year ago, and was my go to treat for a long time.

Simple Chocolate Cake

1 egg
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
Sweetener to taste (1 tbsp splenda for me)

Beat together in a ramekin until fully mixed, will take a minute, the cocoa isn't cooperative, then nuke for 50 seconds. Fluffy, low cal, low carb chocolate cake. Put a dollop of Greek yogurt on top, and it's divine.

I do too! No, I never have, but I don't see why you couldn't. The only issue is that you need the cocoa as the "flour" in the recipe, but you should be able to add to the flavour? I haven't made it in a long time, and I'm out of eggs! How does that even happen to a low carber?!?

Buy Fry's cocoa! 1 gram of carb 1 gram of fiber per tablespoon, so net zero.

I really like the cake, I use a 1 cup sized ramekin and it fills it up and puffs up. If you go smaller you'll make a mess.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's a Canadian brand, which is why I suggested it. They pretty much carry it in every grocery store in BC.

WOE: Trying to resist anything white.
Whoops! Error on the Vinaigrette recipe...Meant 1/4 cup not Tblsp of balsamic or apple cider vinegar.

3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 CUP balsamic vinegar or apple cider vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard or more
1 tsp minced fresh herbs (e.g. parsley, chives, tarragon) or any dried herbs like oregano/tarragon etc.
salt and ground pepper (or freshly ground black pepper), to taste
I also use Mrs. Dash in it.
Whisk it up & pour into a bottle/jar.

I have today off, yay! Making breakfast now, then I'll get going to the gym for an hour, then come home to motivate the houseboy to go out with me shopping lol.

The scale is still my nemesis, but I feel good! Went to yoga last night, every time is so different. We did flow style, which is move move move apparently. It was good though.

Bought so more L-Glutamine and joint pain vitamins.

Also bought groceries and such at Superstore and Costco. God, I love to spent money.

Heading to the gym after my friend gets here to pick up the suitcase he's borrowing for his trip to London next week. Oh, and having my lunch really late. Ate big for breakfast and had a heavy cream venti latte at Starbucks at around 11, those things keep me going forever!
