OMG! Take some aspirin Beach! It helps with the inflammation. And slather that belly with aloe!

I'm sorry, I hate being burnt!

On the plus side, that burn is sure to develop into some nice color by the time you go on vacation. lol

And when I say that I suck..I mean that I had pizza last night. 3 slices. I need to hibernate some place with no food for like a week straight in order to undo all the damage I've done in the last month.

Well, only one pound this week. 141.0 Thats 6 lbs in 2 weeks.

Some thoughts... That weight feels solid, not like I am bloated or if I looked at an orange or a slice of bread I would gain 5 pounds. My pooch belly is smaller. I eat a TON of food. I feel "satisfied" all the time. I dont feel like I need to go on one of my eating sprees. I love eating healthy grains, healthy fats and fruit. It says in the book you start to enjoy eating again. I caught myself sitting on my deck having breakfast watching the birds. That is not normal for me and I loved it.

142 is what I weighed when I gave birth to my son so I still have quite a bit to go. It is also the weight that I have hit about 3 times since gaining to 162. Being under seems like an accomplishment.

Although the first week was a ton of work shifting my kitchen out of low carb and snacks, this week was easier to follow.

Have a great day!!!! Should be a fun week with a day off in the middle!

Olda, that sounds amazing! I''m so happy for you!
And proud of you!

Now, if only I can do something drastic and be proud of myself again. hahahah
I'm just kidding. I got myself out of bed at 6:30 again this morning to go running, so that's an accomplishment. Hoping to stick to meat and eggs today, but TOM came yesterday so I don't know how strong I'll be. I'll check in later.

I'm happy for you too....I am definitely trying it when I get back. As it is, I am avoiding bread and chips, eating wild and brown rices on occasion, eating what ever fruit and veggies I feel like, eggs and egg whites mostly...made tofu last night and I just cant cook the stuff...it tastes fine but the texture is off everytime I cook it there is some weird magical trick to it I guess

FF and Beach ... you guys are killing the exercise!
I cant cook tofu either. I read you have to sit a brick on it with paper towels to drain all the water out (ok, maybe not a brick) I really want to like it but I buy it and chuck it every time.

Morning! Olda, you're gonna look great at your reunion. You can lose a ton of weight in 25 days.

I did better yesterday. Still not perfect. Still plugging along. Tomorrow morning is my next run and I'm really looking forward to it. I feel so much better on my run days.

I've been gone for a few weeks from here - sorry for not checking in. Last week I was out of town all week and only had access on my phone. The website is a pain to check on my phone. I wish they had an app - it would be so much easier!! I hope you guys are all doing well. I gained some weight while I was gone.... two steps forward and three steps back!!! Hate that! I hope to have time this week to read through the posts I missed.

Hey all!
Started going back to the gym... Slowly.
I did 2 miles on the treadmill tonight to kick off my July routine.
I hope to work up to more miles, but I am so out of shape.

Good night all

Good morning! 2 miles is a nice start LCL. Happy Low Carb/Low Fat Wednesday for me! Thursdays are that too. I am determined to stay on plan tomorrow at BBQ. I figure I can eat "whatever" off a grill with no bread.

Whats everyone doing?

Morning!

LCL, great job getting back to the exercise.

I have to say, I'm shocked to report that the alarm went off at 6:30 this morning, and I got right out of bed to do my run...instead of laying there for a few minutes trying to talk myself into getting up! It's getting easier. I think it helps though that I'm only supposed to run 3 days a week on the couch to 5k. I'm not sure I'd be excited about getting up and working out EVERY day. lol At some point I need to start cross training though...so I will have to get up every morning. Oh well. I'll enjoy this 3 days a week schedule while it lasts.

As for the 4th Olda, we have no plans. DH has to work and my oldest DD will be out with her friends, so it's just going to be me and my little DD. I might take her to the movies tomorrow...She really wants to see Despicable Me 2. I can't decide if I want to grill or not. Still trying to get back to low carb but it's cherry season and I love cherries! So I usually blow it every day with a big bowl of cherries at night. I guess it's better than ice cream, right?

2 miles is good to me too, but I am on this other walking thread where 66 yr old women are doing 6 miles a day!

Makes me feel a bit lazy!

I will try to do another 2 miles tonight. It only takes about 30 min on the treadmill so I think it is doable...

However, I woke up REALY slowly this morning... I am feeling my age.

I hope I can get up and go like you, FF!
It would be nice to wake up early to work out without frightening my family on my way out the door! I am not a happy morning person.

Gee Olda....I am just so happy for you and proud of you!

I am back down to 148...eating decent and continuing exercising like crazy I could do better and I will do better....I am definitely doing this diet when I get back...you convinced me

Happy 4th everyone

no plans here...most firework shows have been banned and it's illegal to do your own...(too dry anyway) so I will likely get my stuff done today and try to force myself to make that drive to Mt. Elbert at 2am Friday

Good morning! Happy 5th. Made it through yesterday without drinking or going off program. Ate a burger with cucumbers at grill time. Gotta be in the Bronx this morning but its Phase 3 (my favorite eating phase and where I feel best) Scarily upbeat every day. Weigh in Monday.

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a nice and relaxing 4th ! We are leaving for the beach tomorrow morning and will be gone for a week. I hope to check in while we're gone at some point... I will do my best to not gain 100 pounds while I'm gone lol! My husband and I are going to work out together so that will help.

Good morning! Picked my son up yesterday and happily have him home for 2 days. Sucks when they grow up and have real lives. Still good. Barely was able to eat right and every 3-4 hours yesterday but was almost ok. Too much coffee and some ranch dressing on my salad from Subway. Its been worse (lol much worse)

Have a great vacation belle!!

belle...I leave Tuesday for Cali and the beach

You are right Olda...I am relaxing too. I feel better when I exercise and I am noticing the toning so as long as I can pull off a swimsuit and enjoy myself...I'm good. Tanning helps pull off the look for sure this ole body has not seen much sun in 20 years so I'm liking the tan (yes, burn tanned off for the most part)

Last day of Week 3. Weigh in tomorrow. I feel like this is working as my ability to ummmm "move" things through my system has never been better. I go often now where I used to go MAYBE once a day. Sorry but I feel like its worth mentioning.

Happy Last Day of the Weekend! My sisters 50th BD party today. Phase 3 is easy eating though.
