Beach... your exercise this month has been phenomenal!!! I am so impressed.

FF... Hope you had a fun weekend with your visitors!

LCL... Having a shorter commute is good for the soul. I travel sometimes 4 hours a day and its exhausting. I hope it all works out.

Belles... Good job on the weight loss!!!

Hey Olda.
Don't have much to say but I don't want you to be alone.

Haven't started a new plan of any type. I was sick too this weekend - probably lost some weight from that!
I am not sure about this other job I applied for. Even if they want me they may not want me when I ask to skip up in the pay scale. I am the only one working in my family and cannot afford a pay cut at this point. However, our county is cutting our pay and making us pay more for retirement and health care (100% of all increases). I am already paying 900.00 a month for health care and it will go up another 70.00 in 2014!

End of rant...

good job FF

I am just hopeful that working out will net results in a smaller body because hcg isn't netting weight loss results and in my frustration I was like...F it! then tried to pick myself up and keep eating or drinking bad things I have drank beer several days since last Wednesday... and have had not a huge amount of calories...just not the ones I am supposed to eat
I have had juices, chips diet soda, cereal, ugh

but I have pusehed harder and harder on the exercise and I have noticed some toning...just not enough

LCL- healthcare costs are seriously out of control. something has to happen soon.

Glad everyone is back. I have a long 2 days at work. Bringing my lunch and snacks but really have to be conscious of eating at the right time. Thats the hardest part. Sometimes the 3 hours between meals flies by.

I feel soooo bloated today. Mondays and Tuesdays are grains, protein, veggie, fruit days After two days of it, I feel like I was eating everything in sight! Still not used to so much grains and fruit. Wednesday and Thursdays are protein and veggie only days so I will get on the scale Friday morning. No need to upset myself.

Have a fantastic day everyone!!

Good morning!!! Not jumping on the scale til tomorrow but checking in. Was a bit off yesterday on eating schedules. Instead of every 3 to 4 hours, I ate at 6, 10:30, 2, 4:30 and 10. I will try to be better today. Just so busy!!

I haven't been on any sort of plan for a couple weeks and I really don't know which way I will be going. With my back problems then getting sick... I have just been to miserable to think about what I have to eat.
Many other things are going on in my life that are keeping me way down and I just can't get free.

So I am just eating without restrictions ... However, I am trying to eat "healthy" foods ( that means so many different things depending on who you talk to).

Have a good day all.

Hi Ladies!

Just wanted to check in. I've been reading the thread daily, just not joining in much because I'm not being very good.

The exercise is going great and I"m following along nicely with the couch to 5k program so I'm happy about that.

Can't quite get the eating right though. My calories are MUCH lower, but I'm eating too many nuts every day and I still let some sweets slip in at least a few times a day. I don't understand why I can't get back in the groove.

Anyhow, I went to Whole Foods today and bought a bunch of the Blue Print Cleanse juices so that I can do a juice cleanse for the next few days. Hopefully that will get my sweet tooth under control. Fingers crossed.

So...this is going to be long-winded I think.

I threw in the towel. This can't be healthy I am looking at what Olda is doing because I really need to fix my metabolism and be done with it. I am not doing anything until after vacation because I have one and a half weeks before I go and frankly, I am done with being unhappy dieting and getting absolutely no benefits from it but frustration. I am exercising like crazy and that is helping how I feel about me and my body so I am going to eat healthy and feed my body. My last day taking any drops, I was so hungry and I couldn't hold on any more...I thought to myself, "this is ridiculous!" Food cannot be my sworn enemy for the rest of my life...I need it for survival! I went to Subway and ended up eating a footlong Vegie Delite...something I would have never been able to do in the past...because I was that hungry. So Kiss 148 goodbye....something I starved myself to get to for 3 weeks and a grand total of 2 whopping pounds lost gained back with one sandwich! ...AND...I would get that if it was 450 calories on top of the 1,000's of calories consumed that day, but I was still under 1000 with the sandwich! Absolutely stupid in my opinion. So I ate crappy yesterday, but worked out, today, I plan to eat well and exercise. I decided I am going to take care of my body instead of hating it, and respect what my body has done. My body grew two kids, pushed them into the world, survived abuse by my family of origin, has walked countless miles, climbed numbers of mountains, and has taken care of me...it's time I take care of it.
rant over

Beach, I'm SO GLAD you decided to throw in the towel. I've been watching this round for you and it really has been ridiculous. You were torturing yourself and not getting any results. Nobody needs that!!!!

Stick to your current workout routine, and I think you'll be fine. I think you'll do even better on the scale than you have been these last few weeks.

I do believe in HCG...but I have serious doubts about the homeopathic....

I just had the Blueprint Cleanse green juice...and I have to say I prefer my green juice over this one. Maybe because it's fresh. Mine is also BRIGHT green when I make it...and this one is not.

Oh well, it's not too bad so I can definitely drink it a few times today.

Yeah...I can't do it FF....I have my doubts about homeopathic too
I think it works for the short term (usually) but not the long term.

At this point in my life, I think the Metabolism Fix makes a lot of sense...with the exercise toning me up and adding muscle, it makes sense to figure out what I can eat to maintain and maybe lose fat and add muscle
I have never been so much about the number on the scale as I am about how I feel. I do know I haven't exercised as much in the past few years as I used to (got lazy doing hhcg ) and I lost a lot of muscle mass. Right now, I am focused on building that muscle back up (for many reasons including that I took a hard look and didn't like the saggy baggy old lady butt and body) Hell, I'm not ready to look like a little old lady

Anyhoo...it's time to get fit and stop being crazy

I'm with you Beach! I hate exercise, but I feel better when I do it. I want a firm body again! Plus I feel a great sense of accomplishment that I'm actually sticking to this couch to 5k program.

I applaud your post!!!!! and totally jealous at how dedicated your exercise has been (you too FF) I will keep you updated on how this 4 week thing is working out for me. I can only tell you that I havent eaten this much food in years. I am thrilled that I am eating fruit.... and grains (no wheat) and feel very healthy. I was so bad I hadnt eaten carrots or corn in years. Now I eat carrots with hummus Getting on the scale on Monday morn so I will let you know.

okay...don't laugh.

I kind of disrupted my exercise routine.
I decided to lay out in the pool on one of those floaty things and my tummy has not seen sunlight in some 20 years. One hour...one stinking hour and my tummy is flaming red.
My thought process was that tan looks toned...but now it is damned near impossible to wear clothing, let alone wear something to workout in or do crunches
so mad at myself
I'm a freaking lobster...upper legs, chest and tummy
