idk FF...it gets to you, but I think I got to a place where I can detach. I really do think there is jobs some people are meant to do...like I could never be a coroner or cop...but I can work with victims or do crisis intervention and yes...it bugs me...it even traumatizes me sometimes, but for whatever reason, I can brush it off. Sometimes it requires a glass of wine or a beer in front of the fire, but I can detach. Maybe it's because I write the report so I process it maybe I'm just screwed up maybe it's because I was victimized myself, so I have a need to fix bad things

I think its pretty wonderful to be involved in all that. Glad there are people out there like you.

Day One (Again) 147.0

2 days of eating normal and right back up. Ugh. Hopefully it will come off quick. Went shopping yesterday and picked up brown rice pasta and tortillas. Never had them but its allowed. I havent had pasta in 5 years. lol

Ugh, pulled my back on Friday and have not been able to do anything for days.

Was out of town from Thursday until late Saturday - my husband's grandfather went into hospice last Wednesday so we had to go to Pennsylvania. He passed away over the weekend so it's been stressful, especially with having lost someone else the week before. I hope you guys are doing well though! I'll type more later - just wanted to keep you in the loop.

Day One is done... well, I have to eat an orange at 9 pm (i think) I am still trying to work out the logistics of all this eating. I feel pretty satisfied, it was a very healthy day of eating.

I was also waiting to get on a different computer since my keyboard on my new laptop is not...right

I am not happy about the gain...but I am struggling with trying and not getting losses....losing my willpower and I know I shouldn't give up but I'm slipping and I can't help it.

My back is still messed up. I am trying to not make it worse, but I am so bored in the house. I took off this week for vacation ... Yippee...

I was supposed to do so much this week ( bake some cakes for my mom's upcoming birthday, make a couple hundred fondant flowers, tile my bathroom, kill some weeds.) now I am doing nothing.

Belle, I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't believe you've had to deal with the two deaths so close together.

Olda, you're doing great! Can't wait to see how this new plan works for you!

Beach, I can sense your frustration. Hang in there

As for me, I haven't really been on any plan this week. Fasting here and there and keeping it low calorie the other days. My friend is coming to visit from Thursday through Sunday so I'll be all over the place this weekend.

Originally I had planned to use this weekend as my loading days and start hcg on Monday, but I've been rethinking that the last few days. Hcg chica has said that her easiest rounds are when she does a full week of low carb the week before she loads, and then she loads with only low carb foods, and that's really what I want to do this time because I think it will be easier to get through this round if I'm in ketosis. And since I know this weekend will involve carby foods, I don't want to use this as my loading days. I think I'll just fast during the day and eat what I want when we go out at night, then Monday I'll start my week of low carb only followed by two days of low carb loading, and THEN I'll start p2. I want to make sure this round is a big success.

So that's what's been going on with me.

Thanks! It has sucked to have them that close together for sure.

FF - that sounds like a good plan. You def want to load right and have a good round vs. doing all that hard work to have a crappy round!

beach - hope you're having a better day today...

olda - what are you eating this week?? I saw you're on day 2 and was wondering what you're doing

Haylie Pomroys Fast Metabolism Diet. 28 days of confusing your metabolism by eating low fat, low carb or neither every few days. Supposedly when your done... You wont gain weight by looking at a carb like I do now.

On to Day 3 - 145.5 this morning and 2 days of low carb eating ahead of me. Ahhh, feels like home. But its not low carb like bacon. Low carb like lean chicken with celery.

that sounds interesting olda.... gonna have to do some research!

beach - I didn't know you played tennis. I love tennis - wish we lived closer!!!!

Today is my second 500 cal day this week. I am weighing in every Friday. I'm down about 3 pounds in 2 weeks. Wish it was more like 3 pounds a week but I'm not really doing anything specific on my off days. I guess until I decide to really cut back on those I will be looking at 1.5 pound losses each week. It's better than nothing....

Good luck Beach! This stupid round is being so rough with you!

Well, today is the beginning of my weekend of eating. My friend gets into town this afternoon and leaves on Sunday. I'll be as good as I can during the days but dinners out are definitely going to be carbfests. We're going to a Mexican restaurant one night. Yum.

Fingers crossed that I don't do too much damage. Monday starts my week of strict low carb in preparation for my next hcg round! Yay! I'll probably end up doing mostly meat and eggs next week to get me into ketosis fast!

Anyhow, hope the rest of you have a great weekend too!

Good Morning! Is everyone still around?! Home from a very nice camping weekend. Stay on plan but have a terrible cold and lived on nyquil and cough drops on top of the diet. Surprisingly, weight was at 142.0 this morning. On to Week 2 Day One....
