I'm starving

I am going to eat an egg and make a juice later. My stomach is literally growling...and not that little growl...but a roar

I jogged 1.92 miles though

Beach, i'm so proud of you!!! You are kicking butt!!!!

I got through my fast yesterday, yay! But I still woke up STARVING! I've had way too much string cheese today because that's all I have in the house to eat right now. I mean, that's the only "ready" food I have. I took out some steak to defrost so I'll have that for dinner.

I just wish this hunger would go away. I think it probably won't until TOM is gone. I hate TOM. I really do.

My HCG is scheduled to arrive today and I REALLY wish I could just start immediately but I know there's no way I can stick to P2 while my friend is here on the 20th, so there's really no point in my starting something when I know I can't stick to it 100%.

Anyways, I'm babbling...

How are you feeling today BEach?

Tell me! tell me! I seem to crave something chocolate every night at 8 pm and my only option is an Atkins bar which CANNOT be good for my weight. Feeling great here though. Keeping busy, exercising.... Not much of a weight change but I would assume it would have to kick in soon.
Going to try on my old shorts and see how they fit. Wish me luck.

Hey all!
I have been surrounded by cake for a few weeks now. It was my husbands bday last week and mine today. Coworkers brought me cake this week and my husband is making one right now ...
I am making a giant cake to feed over 40 people for my mom's bday in July.
I will start the cakes next week.
Cake, cake, cake...
What is odd to me is that I don't even want any!
I told my husband not to bother with the cake, but he insisted because I made him one last week. The boys love seeing a cake and singing happy bday - so it is really just for them. Love those little boys!
Well, going to try to go back to sleep... Hope you all have a great day.

Olda, here you go. Here's the recipe. The next time I make it I'll be sure to get some whipped cream to serve with it. It TOTALLY hit the spot last night and made me stop craving.

Also, I'm not sure why it's called a 3 minute flourless chocolate cake cause it only takes a minute to cook in the microwave....

CAROLYN'S 3-MINUTE FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon heavy cream
2 tablespoons cocoa
3 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon granular Splenda or equivalent liquid Splenda
1 teaspoon baking powder *
1 tablespoon butter, softened

Spray a 2-cup measuring cup or small bowl with cooking spray. I used a Grab-it bowl. Add the egg and beat it with a fork. Add the remaining ingredients and whisk until a smooth batter forms. Microwave on HIGH 30-60 seconds or until it puffs up and no longer looks wet in the center. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.

Makes 1 serving
Can be frozen

* Carolyn has since cut it back to 1/2 teaspoon.

With granular Splenda:
Per Serving: 281 Calories; 23g Fat; 9g Protein; 13g Carbohydrate; 4g Dietary Fiber; 9g Net Carbs

With liquid Splenda:
Per Serving: 261 Calories; 23g Fat; 9g Protein; 8g Carbohydrate; 4g Dietary Fiber; 4g Net Carbs

Beach, I'm so excited for you that the weight is coming off so quickly!

I have a dilemma. I ordered my hcg the other day and received a shipment notification with a tracking number. It was shipped via USPS. Well, I tracked it and it said it was delivered yesterday at 5:07...but it was not in my mailbox! (We have a mailroom with po boxes type of thing in our neighborhood) So obviously they put it in the wrong persons box, not mine!

Do I go to the post office to tell them, or do I contact the company and say I never got the package even though it says it was delivered? Ugh, so annoying!

Anyhow, yesterday I ate a lot. All low carb, but I was hungry all day and I feel like I was constantly eating.

I had like 4 STRING CHEESES, steak, coconut oil chocolate, lots of coffee, a handful of almonds, and my 3 minute flourless chocolate cake. I thought for sure I'd wake up feeling like a cow, but I actually feel better today and I can tell my tummy has gone down.

Yay! Proof that as long as I keep it LC I can still eat and feel ok.

I'm still not ready to weigh myself for another week or so of clean eating, but I finally feel like i'm getting back on track.

FF- I would call the company and tell them you never got the package even though it says it was delivered. Let them handle it.

yep...what Amity said

I'm betting you need calories...and it sounds like you were completely dead-on with what your body needed.

This is a WAY better round...my false start a few weeks ago, 6 days and I was down to 147.... why? why? why did I stop?

But yes...this is a better round and I am not being that strict....eggs...I had some meat, juice....and stupid grissini....I have to stay away from that...I lose control
I am exercising pretty well too....I noticed I'm getting old lady butt
so I unburied my weight machine and I'm cleaning out the basement so I have my gym back

Makes it so much easier to stick with it when the weight is falling off.

kind of...I think once you cheat...you screw yourself because you are hungry the entire round...at least my cheat was early and the two-three days following were almost unbearable...but now...eh doing much better now. I still think about cheating though
Today...I have stayed so busy working on my workout room, I have eaten very little...It is dinner time and all I have eaten is eggs

so....gotta make some dinner and a juice pretty soon...Oh..and I haven't ahd my midday drops
