Morning girls! Today is the second low cal day for me. Lots of water for me. I may not stick right at 500 cals but I'll be lower than usual for sure.

Belle, I might do another low calorie day with you today since I'm not hungry at all. Yesterday was surprisingly easy to get through. I love ketosis.

I'm also planning to walk 3 miles today and do an arm workout. This week has been so busy that I haven't been able to get the exercise in yet. I'm behind schedule!

Tried and works. High fat, med protein, Low carb. Want to get back to Leptin reset after I get the carbs cleared out....

Hey!

I am in the middle of my second week back and doing fine. I found I HAVE to eat a good breakfast ( usually egg, ham, avacado, and cheese scramble) if I want to get through the day. I have been eating some low carb bars when I am in a hurry, but they don't cut it as well as a nice breakfast.
I was being very good and bringing my lunch. But this week has been insane and I have not made anything for myself. However, when I go to the store at lunch I have been going for good LC options instead of the doughnuts.
That is a victory for me! I have been hungry in the past and went right for the individual cake slices at the bakery.

Any way... Hope you all are doing well. Keep on keeping on!

LCL - I love egg scrambles!!! I even add spinach, onion, green pepper, tomato, and fresh basil to mine. Not sure if you like all of those things or not but it's so delicious to me!!!

beach - hope you feel better soon....

kitty - I don't remember what leptin reset is. Is it something you were doing before?

FF - how did the low cal day go? Ketosis is awesome! I really haven't had an appetite for dinner the last two nights! I know you said you haven't been that hungry either.

Yay Belle! I'm so proud of you. You're doing amazing!

My low calorie days this week were a cinch. I hope this feeling I've had all week continues. I'm pmsing this week so I felt a little more snacky today, but I've kept it to low carb snacks...babybell cheese, chicken, a handful of walnuts. I'll probably just have a smoothie for dinner because I'm feeling pretty satisfied now.

Beach, how are you doing? We're here for you, sista!

How is everyone else? Stay strong over the weekend ladies! Only another week before our new challenge starts!

Here's a brief run down of the LR plan copied from a previous posting. Brief is understated! If anyone wants to try it, be sure to read up on it. It helps a lot!


The basics:
- Eat at least 50 grams of protein breakfast within 30 minutes of waking
- Allow 4-5 hours between meals
- Eat 3 meals a day, paleo or primal diet
- Keep carbs at 50 or below (25 if obese)
- No snacking - black coffee or tea OK but no cream, no calories
- Allow at least 3-4 hours between dinner and bedtime
- No aerobic exercise or weight lifting until LS (leptin sensitivity) is re-established, walking is OK

And another thread that has lots of good stuff. Leptin reset?

Day 2 in...weekend and concert and trip to OH Sunday....

I'm fine FF...just so damned busy Each week is a week from hell and I can't seem to slow down. Eating is ok...but yesterday I didn't eat much at all and gained! So today (after already doing a fundraiser all morning) I will cook so I can grab and go

No tasting occurred .... But I haven't made the frosting or the ganache yet!
I made the custard filling this morning and it was soooo hard not to take a spoonful of that warm custard from the pan!
Mmmmm.... But you are right, I know what it tastes like. I don't have to have it today. (But maybe a small slice when the whole thing is done! For quality control...)

Just a quick check in! No scale for me. Ran 2 miles without having to stop. Thats HUGE for me. Eating, not so great still.

Morning everyone! Got back from the beach late last night. Was up 1 1/2 pounds this morning from Friday. I assume because I was out in the sun all day yesterday and water retention. At least that's what it better be because I was on plan all.weekend.long!!!! Not one bite of anything off plan ! Hope everyone else had a great weekend. Low cal day for me and hopefully will have a big whoosh!!!

TOM came so I'm trying to drink 100 ounces today. I was down a pound this morning but still higher than my weigh in on Friday. Hoping for a whoosh by the end of the week. It needs to be a big one so I can make up for not losing much last week

Stay strong everyone! Maybe it's a full moon causing the little gains in everyone.
Belle, my low calorie day yesterday was easy because I stayed busy.

I'm STARVING today but I don't have anything planned so far besides coffee since I won't have a chance to eat until later this afternoon. Not sure what I'm going to have yet. I need to go to the grocery store later. Oh, I have burgers in the fridge, maybe I'll make a cheeseburger and eat it with a lettuce "bun." Yum.

Hi everyone!

Kids are back in school which helps me get my workouts in. This past Monday I tried a Bodypump class and it was fun long and exhausting but I made it through and may keep going. Todays Wednesday and my muscles are still sore, very painful to walk sit stand.

Food is ok I am trying to stick to a plan which is pretty easy when kids are at school. Its the night time I need help with.
