Hey all, just checking in.
My two boys were sick last week so guess who is sick now...
I hate how the colds pass around my family. I guess it will continue until they get older. They are now 4 & 6, prime immunity building stage.

Where in CA are you going, Beach?
It is pretty nice right now... a little windy in my area.

So, 3 weeks in, one week left. Down 8 pounds. 139.0. Not the fastest weight loss ever but I really dont feel deprived. I dont think I would gain 5 pounds if I went off plan. I love the fruit and grains. I especially love avocados and hummus. I eat an avocado a day on the weekends.

Sorry you arent feeling well, LCL. I just got over a KILLER cold. Those summer ones suck!!

Olda this is amazing! I'm so happy for you and so proud of you!!!!

I just got done with my workout. That is the only thing I've been consistent with. I feel great that I've been bitten by the exercise bug and I don't dread the alarm clock in the morning anymore, but I'm still eating off plan. Told myself just to get through today. Just one day and then it will get easier. I know, I know...you guys are probably sick of hearing the same thing everyday. But one of these mornings I'm gonna come back and say I did it! I stayed on plan! lol

Anaheim/LA for 3 days and Catalina Island for 3....I'm excited about Catalina. I lived in Long Beach for almost 3 years and never made it over...got as far as the Queen Mary and had the best dinner of my life...but never went over to the island

we should totally do the Pomroy diet FF
I couldn't start a week and a half before my vacation, but I plan on doing it when I come back. I am working out consistently too...eating is actually non-existent and beer drinking is off the charts...I am officially beer'd out
I have been juicing a lot...eating tons of fruit and veggies...and not much else. I know I need to eat more and then I eat crap ugh

Happy 10th! 5 days left and I did my 28 day stint of this diet! 10 days left til vacation and 18 til the reunion. I cant even imagine how bad August will be when I let loose!!!

Thanks FF. Still feel like crap and didnt want to get out of bed. Had to jump on the scale since I was convinced I was 20 pounds heavier and only at 140 so I will try and relax and make it through the day. Only 4 days left and I completed the program. Who screws up now? Ugh. Let me go back to bed.

3 days left. This is happy eating Phase 3 (grain, protein, fruit and fat) so hopefully my cravings will subside. Hoping for a 10 pound total loss on Monday morning but thinking it will be more like 9. Sanding and staining my deck all weekend so maybe I will burn some extra calories.

You're doing great Olda! Great job sticking to the plan for the full month!

Beach, I hope you're having a great time on vacation.

As for me, I decided to go ahead and start another round of hcg. Nothing else is working and if I keep waiting until I get myself under control....I'll end up 20 pounds heavier than I am now. lol

The only difference is that I will not be weighing at all until the end of this round. I'm also probably going to make this a long round...so 6 weeks at least.

I take my first injection and start loading tomorrow. I'll also be starting week 5 of the couch to 5k program on Monday, so I hope that I'll still have energy to run while I"m doing hcg. Fingers crossed.

That sounds great FF! Gotta start somewhere and I am so proud of you for doing the couch to 5k. I have started it at least 10 times and stopped for a variety of excuses... I mean reasons.

Final weight is 138. Only 9 pounds. They didnt recommend too much exercise so I have til Friday to lose another pound or two. My goal was 135 for vacation. Just a few pounds away. I will definitely do another rounds starting August 5th.

I'm back from vacation this week and back on track. I ate off plan last week and didn't work out. I moved around a lot but didn't work out. I started back today though. In years past when I have worked out regularly I always let vacation ruin my streak. Not this time! I started right back this morning and am doing well so far today...

Way to get right back on the wagon!

Off to the treadmill, still 138. Not really on any plan but my metabolism is supposedly "fixed" so I am trying to eat healthy and often. Hopefully wont gain.

hi all....not too much to catch up on but...

Olda!!!!

FF....good luck on this next round

Thanks everyone for the well wishes...we had a nice time but I am happy to be home, regardless if our internet went down
I am at the Library to get access since I do not have a smart phone...just a dumb one
California's idea of vegetarian is apparently cheese pizza, French fries and if you are lucky...a side salad (at least where we were) I ended up eating shrimp a few times, side salads when I could (and yes, I ate pizza, French fries, and side salads) and I was craving ANYTHING healthy by the time we got home yesterday, so I made a juice drank a ton of water...spent the day in the bathroom or sleeping since my liver was screaming in agony, (I drank a lot of alcohol on this trip) I assume on Catalina, fresh fruit and veggies are a hot commodity so it was sparse. All things considered, I gained 3 pounds so I will take it and move on with the firm belief it will come right back off now that I can eat healthy, exercise, and also because my liver requires no more alcohol!
We spent a lot of time walking on Catalina and swimming in the ocean or pool on the island and the mainland. We were on some sort of a boat about half the trip and saw so much and really had a nice time. We saw a blue whale and dolphins and seals...fish, coral sharks...it was fantastic.

Oh...and you can't say you have seen it all until you see a bum drinking Starbucks from the trash and a hooker coming out of a hotel wearing a shirt and high heels only...panties are optional in Hollyweird
well...hopefully my internet situation is rectified soon...if not, I will check in when I can

Olda, have a great time on vacation too! I'll miss seeing your motivating posts every morning.

Today is first day of P2 for me. And it's the first day in about a month and a half that I'm not starving and ready to eat everything in sight. Hopefully I can get back to fighting weight soon. I feel huge. I kind of like the idea of not weighing this entire round until it's over. It will be a nice surprise to see what the scale says.

I am ton between doing the pomroy fix or the Bob Harper skinny rules
since I don't care about how much I lose and care about fixing my metabolism...I am leaning towards her plan but I'm not sure about the food on either plan

FF...yay for P2...I hope you have a good round

We are getting a new internet provider but not until Wednesday
our old provider wouldn't repair ours until next week anyway so we said so long...it was the slowest crapiest ever anyway

I have never heard of Bob Harper's skinny rules. I'll have to look that up.

I hope I have a great round too Beach. I kind of have to. I haven't weighed since the end of May, but I KNOW I gained a lot of weight back. I had jeans that were so loose on me in May that I couldn't wear them without them totally sagging down my booty, and now they are tight again. oops. Hoping to at least be in the 160's by the end of this round. But who knows. It's a guessing game for me right now since I don't know how much weight I actually gained back. lol

Oh, and Beach, I meant to ask you....when you do eggs on hcg, how many do you have?

I have 2 dozen eggs in the house so I want to use them as my meals so that they don't go bad.
