Congrats on staying on plan and looser fitting clothes!

I really wish this ankle tattoo I got would heal up so I can wear sneakers and hit the gym. I did the other day and my tattoo faded in spots so I'm not doing it again until it's healed.

TOM showed so yaaaaaaay! Lol. I love retaining water. It makes me happy to step on the scale. I haven't tried to weigh in a few days and I doubt I will until next week.

Congrats BecBelle and Gibbs!!

I had my physical today and my doc was was extremely pleased with my weight loss, and the positive changes in my blood work! She said I am doing an "excellent" job taking care of my health and I should be very proud!

Even my blood pressure cooperated. I have a horrible case of white coat syndrome usually. But my blood pressure has improved enough that even when it goes up a bit, it's still in a decent range. Yay!!

Ms.Woods--I look forward to TOM only because of the big woosh that I have afterward.
Astribling ----Awesome, getting good health results and knowing that you are doing all that you can for your health is so important.
Gibbs---If ya have the munchies, munch the less "dangerous" stuff.

I'm doing great, I'm back in the 260s. I resided in the 260s from 2002 till the summer 2005. Happy to be here again.

Thanks everyone! and Congrats BecBelle!

I went shopping for some jeans today. I am now wearing a size 8 which I have never worn in my adult life!! I tried on the 6 just to see how far off I am. They actually went on and zipped!! but a bit too tight to wear comfortably. I'm just thrilled to be in single digits. That is a foreign territory for me!

I made chili today for dinner - with beans! I have been avoiding beans during weight loss, but thought that since I'm in maintenance I would try to add in a few. And of course with chili you need corn bread, and I found a recipe for a low carb "corn bread" made with almond meal and garbanzo flour. It wasn't exactly like corn bread but very yummy, especially with butter! I checked my blood sugar after the meal and did not have any appreciable rise. Yay! So We'll see if the scale does anything funky tomorrow.

I failed yesterday! I went to Mom and Dad's and behaved well!! When I came home yesterday evening, I brought a pizza home. If you have EVER had a Mercurio's pizza, you'll understand. I dont know if it's the sausage, the crust, made with love or sprinkled with crack, but it's freaking awesome!!!. Luckily I wasn't hungry and only had 3 squares.

There's leftovers in the fridge and nothing on earth is better than cold pizza for breakfast, but I'm staying away!!

Gonna make out the grocery list now....

I didnt' realize I didn't even post pics of my tattoos I got. I started saving the money when I got back on plan and stopped drinking 5 months ago. I got them Oct. 10th. My freaking foot tattoo color came off so I'm going to have to go get it touched up anyways, so back in the gym for me. I hate feeling frumpy.

I ended up being in the chair from about 4pm-2:30am. The doll was really painful, just because there are so many colors and he had to go over raw skin over and over and over. I almost passed out. Thankfully at the end, he put some cream on it that numbs raw skin and I didn't have to feel the rest.

I really was scared to get the locket on my ankle bone but it wasn't too bad. I mean it hurt don't get me wrong, but I didn't cry lol.

Congrats BecBelle! That is so awesome. You're just shrinking right along aren't ya?

Alice-How did your weight do with the beans in the chili? I've been wanting to try chili or maybe another soup with the Eden's Organic Soy Beans. I've never had them, though.

Gibbs-Long as you get right back on plan, I dont' see a huge issue with the pizza. For me, it's the getting right back on plan that's the hard part.

I have had a small (half cup to cup) serving of the chili daily for the last few days, and my weight is staying stable! It didn't affect my blood sugar much, and didn't cause any cravings, so I think I'm good to go. Now that I'm on maintenance I'm trying to add in some more good carbs like beans, but still stay away from sugar and wheat! DH likes his chili over mac, and since I try to avoid that I put mine over some zucchini noodles. That was really yummy, plus it helps me keep the portion size down.

Yeah, I just don't have much to say. I'm in a shrinking stage and am not seeing loss on the scale right now.

Meh. I've been in a maintain stage. Great to know for when I get to maintenance. But not for now. This week I'm going to try to get my overeating at night under control. And hit the gym. Scale was sitting at 232.5 this morning, been eating almonds all weekend, not portion controlled either.

So my main goal for this week, no eating after 8pm.

Happy Halloween all! I'm here, just working on maintenance. Right now I'm holding fairly well. Normal daily fluctuations 165-167. I do still weigh every day. It just helps keep me on track. I have, for now, quite tracking all my food. After daily tracking for the last 18 months, I'm pretty comfortable knowing what I can and cannot eat. It's funny, actually, I think I may eat a little less not tracking. Just because when I would track, at the end of the night I might have some calories "left over", and even though I wasn't hungry would think - hmmmm I can have a snack! Now that I don't track, I just eat when I need to. And if I need a snack, I go ahead, but not just because I have calories left. LOL Weird, I know

Hope everyone has a good day, and stay away from the Halloween candy, unless it's legal!!

My goal was to walk at least 10,000 each day this month. Succeeded

I wanted to exceed the 137 miles I walked in September - walked 147 miles or 357,500 steps

I have been tracking my steps since June 1 and have walked 680 miles or 1,460,000 steps.

When we started this challenge, I wanted to maintain my weight within a 5 lb margin.
On Sept 1st, it was 149 and today was 146 lbs. Total loss since 2001 is 230 lbs.

Hi Alice! I was just thinking about this thread yesterday too. Holidays were very good, but I wasn't! I started back induction(ish) this week. I've lost 3 lbs. since Monday, so a decent start. Let's get this thing going again, you in? Anyone else? Should we start a new thread, 2014 version?

Hi Tweaker, I will continue to check in if we can get it going again! The support is always good.

I'm still maintaining and kept pretty steady through the Holidays. Plus yesterday was my birthday. We went out to an awesome steak house. I stayed on plan mostly, but did allow myself one piece of nice crunchy bread, and some dessert. Today it's right back to my maintenance plan!

Hey Mary and Alice! Sounds like you two are doing well, WTG!

When I posted here on the 9th it was with the full intention of checking in every day; here it is the 14th and this is the first time I've been back!
I'll try to do better! Where's everyone else from our little group?

Ok well I'm here.

Took some time getting back on track after the holidays. I only gained 6lbs this year, though, as opposed to 60lbs like last year. I'm slowly getting that 6 off, so I can actively start losing again.

I would like to be 170 by my 30th birthday (Dec. 26th), so that is my goal for the year.
