Goodmorning!! Happy Wednesday~Garbage Day!!

So Happy this morning!! Happy to get to listen to my fave pastor fellow on the radio this morning!! The work shifts over these past couple days have gotten right in the way of that!!
Got to visit with Max this morning.
All of the trash/yard garb is at the curb.
I'm having the best breakie, ever!! Mashed turnip w/butter s & p and a couple slices of horseradish cheddar melted on top. Whoa, yah!!

On the agenda over here at the dive today...is choring. And, if peeps still believe in taking dope, using tp, and eating...then someone may need to fit in a little hit to the market...before work this eve.

So ya know when meeting new co-worker folk...everybody wants to give ya the little verbal questionnaire. They want some basic facts. A handful of times yesterday I was asked about kids. So I doled out the 2 min version...over & over & over & over. By the time the 5th co-worker asked...I was just burnt on repeating this information, so I gave the 30 sec answer of "No, we just have two little dogs". Well holy canolly...the gal let loose on me like I had committed a criminal act, by not pro-creating. She asked me...loudly..."What?! What, do you hate kids or something?! Do you not like them at all or WHAT?!". So, my hand was forced to share, again. It's just so wearing sometimes. She didn't stop. She wasn't satisfied with that, and went on to press me about going on to have more children...and how I SHOULD. So meddlesome and intrusive, and disrespectful, and plain inappropriate AND rude.
So...I'm considering changing this stage for badgering that I find myself on the receiving end of, at times...with..."What?! NO, I hate children!!"

What's on the -gonna's- for the day??

WHat?!?!? Was this lady working at the home where they can't speak? Maybe there is a reason she is there! Clearly her internal filter is just plain busted and stupid pours out of her mouth!!! I just can't fathom 1. ever asking beyond -do you have any children. 2. to then voice such a nonstop line of just ignorant ramblings like that is just beyond my capabilities to process! I am actually flabergasted by the whole thing! So if you said you weren't married would she scream *What?! Don''t you like men???* Holy, I must be in a cranky mood tonight cause she has just tipped me into full on flip the switch territory!

I came home tonight, grabbed the kids and we headed out to the mall. ML needed new shoes. He took the trash out this am and someone had walked their dog and let them poop in our yard! He managed to step in it on the way there and back coating both shoes in poop. He refused to clean them and since they were on their last leg (or foot LOL) anyway I went and got him a new pair. Got us all a new pillow and I also did a little jewelry shopping.

what do you think of these pretties?

ML had went and got me earings for our anniversary. He spent waaaayyy too much! I am not taking them! To the extent that it just made me really mad! Such a stupid thing to get mad at but really way too much $!! But now he is broken hearted that I am not keeping them so I found a pair that is reasonable that I like much better. You can't tell in the pic how sparkly they are!! All Swarovski crystals and just very sparkly and purple What ya think?? Too kiddish looking?

Just a short

My nerves are frazzled tonight. I just returned from probably the worst work shift of my very life!! Horrible!! I've been all up in peoples bizznizz for four hours. I just can't do this. NO. This is gonna have to come to a screeching halt. I'm just disgusted...and I feel like the interior of my nose is just perm. ruined with stench.

Your earrings are bee-u-ti-ful!! Not too kiddyish. I bet they look so pretty & sparkly...especially in real lighting.

Good timing to replace those shoes of ML's!! I see how he works it!!

Ok, it's past me bedtime. I need to go deflate my agitated nerves somehow. I soooooooo wish I hadn't agreed to all those shifts!! I'm scheduled to go back tomorrow, Sat, and Monday.
What the heck!!

Goodmorning!! Happy Thursdee!!

So, made 2 calls today. One to the Supervisor at the home I've been subbing at and one to the HR Director that hired me on. I eesplained the sitchy to the Sup, and ended up getting wrangled into finishing out the shifts she already put me down for. I kinda figured I'd bend on that, if she asked, knowing the staff crunch she's in...but hoped she wouldn't dare ask. She did. So...I'm headed back for a shift this evening, Sat, and Mon.
I DON'T have ANY wanna!! The only consolation is that there's an end in near sight.
I was only able to leave a message for the HR gal, as she's in some sort of training deal for the afternoon. My hope would be that there's a home within their organization that I would be better suited for, but if not...than I suppose I'll just go off on me merrily way.

2nd project this morning...I sent off my cover/resume to another organization, that look like they'd be a stronger match for my interests...still working with DD's...but more as a companion as they live on their own...handling their own hygiene ...and I'd help them create/meet goals & provide transportation/guidance. See...that's more of what I'd had in mind.

So...I'm curious to see where this will all go!! AND, so anxious to get passed each of these next/last 3 shifts.

What's going on with all y'allz today?!

Let it be known...I may choose my next venture completely based on smell. Like maybe something wonderful...like a barista!! Or, like many moons ago...when I worked in a Spa & was surrounded by various essential oils & herbs. In any case, it would be very opposite from what I just left from.

I'd love to stay & chat...but bedtime has arrived...after a shower.

I hope the day was Good for yuz!! See ya tomorrow!!

1/2 a small combo later......and I feel much better...about everything, in general...except the cussing my bs's and scales will do about this.

Hunkie met with a fellow train enthusiast this evening...before we headed out for eats...and bought a boat load of trainage goodies from him. He's startin' to shift his hobby~play desires from the stampage a bit...to the train room, now that Fall is here. Seems to me that they're both indoor activities...but according to him & his online stamp/train buddies...this is the way it goes down.
Of course he's still gonna be highly involved with the stamping as well. His next club meeting is the 1st Saturday of October...and he has the following 2 months booked as well. And, do you know that the phone calls from the old codgers are still trickling in...of those that wanna make the next meeting.

I can't wait to hear about the Romantic get-a-way...once things start comin' together!! Happy Anniversary to the Loter's!!

Well, I think I need to consider making this an earlyish night. I'm feelin' pretty well spent.
Chat tomorrow!!

Well Goodie ~ Goodie Gum Drops, for getting your Anniversary Honeymoon details all wrapped up!! That's exciting!! I think it'll be so Good for the Mr. and Mrs.'s to have 1 on 1 time together!! Really though...to just get away, be able to explore together & freely chat without little ears near by. Most excellent investment into the relationship!! How did you decide to handle the Little's side of things, while you're away?

YES, to Loving Fall!! I hope you do get to see lots of pretty colored trees & such!! What a neat time to be making this trip!! Maybe someone will share a piccy or two with their best budz when they get back?!

The Hunk bailed out to clean the church this morning. I worked on choring at the homefront. Got the floors vac'ed, kitchy sparkling, powders spiffed, bed made and laundry whirlin'.
Studman took it upon himself to boil up 6 dozen eggs, as the after church eats has moved up to tomorrow, rather than next Sunday. So, I reckon I'll put together the world famous deviled mix, and he'll get to be in charge of the rest of that project.

Work night this eve and Monday eve. I've yet to hear back from the HR Director...so I still don't know what direction this whole sitch will take. I don't suppose I care either way. I'm just looking forward to fulfilling my obligation and closing the chapter on the -personal care- aspect of this job.

Oh yeah, and me scales celebrated the pizza~fest with an offering of 3 more lb.'s added to me!! Annnd, the bs's rose at least an additional 200 or so points for it ...which is just total BS!! Clearly there are heavy consequences for me actions.

Goodmorning Muh Peeps!!

Today is the last worky day for me, at this particular home. I've been told that the return call I've been waiting for...from the HR Director has likely not happened, because she ended up in training's both last Thurs/Fri. So...maybe she'll ring me up today.
The Supervisor from the home I've been working at phoned here this morning...jusssst to be sure that we were both on the same page as to me coming in for the eve shift tonight. Uhhh, yes...as much as I'd like to be done with this already...that's not how I roll. So...one more mini-shift...and I'm out like a Scout!!

What's happening around here?!

Ok....who missed me???

We had a fun time. Almost had to come right back home though! I booked online and got an email confirming the reservation but....when we got there she says *oh we tried calling you, we accidently rented out your room and we don't have anymore and we called all the hotels in the area and there are no more* Oh I was livid!!!! But ML saved the day and found a honeymoon suite Don't ask....I ain't tellin!

The next day we shopped around and then we went to a casino, ML broke even, I lost The we stopped at an outlet mall on the way home. It was fun and it was really nice to get away sans kids!

So ML and I have made a pact to go 6 weeks no eating out of any kind. He has such a strange stomach thing that I thought maybe 6 weeks of clean eating might help

Ello Matey!!

I missed you!! You KNOW I did!! So Happy you're back!!
It sounds like apart for that needless drama those hotel folks caused you...it was a pretty Fab trip!! Did you feel okay, regarding the Little's, while you were away?

Do you think that ML could have some gluten sensitivities going on? Turns out that that stuff is in pert near everything, and certainly in restaurant eats!! Good plan to avoid the take out chow for a while & see if things settle down for him.

Yes, soooooooooooo happy to be done with that caregiver action!! What the heck?! And do you know that I've still not heard anything back from the HR gal. I'd left her a message last Thursday morning!! I may try to contact her tomorrow. I have an interview for me next gig lined up for this coming Thursday.

Whirling laundries right now & prepping for a epsom footie bath & mani~pedi with a new Sinful polish called "Cream Pink".

What else is goin' down?!

HAPPY~HAPPY YOU'RE BACK!!

Oh you know I never considered that he may have an allergy See it sure helps to bounce ideas around with different people doesnt it?! I just know he tends to barf up his eats way more if we eat out than at home. I feel like handing him a $20 and say...here save yourself the agony skip the food and just tear the money up and throw that away! Poor fella!

Oh, so I am understanding that maybe your done done with this company? I guess I thought it was just that house you were done with. So what is the other company? Same type of work? Do you know the hours?

Oh I was ok leaving the littles, but they can take care of themselves so I was not too worried. Probably why we waited so long before leaving them with MIL! A was heartbroken She is ok now though. Poor thing

We have houseguests again for the weekend. BIL 30th is this weekend so they are coming up here. I just found out a few days ago. i am seeing what i can do to throw together a bit of a surprise party We'll see, not sure I can pull it off and actually have people show up in 4 days But I will give it the old college try!!! Oh wait I never graduated college!

<---Totally a fan of this pink polish color!! It's really just right. Not too neon kiddyish...and not too pale. Very pretty~very fem. Like it!!

Oh goodness, I didn't realize that ML was gettin' that kinda sick with his eats. I thought maybe more like tummy pains/potty issues. But he's gurging over it?! What on earth?! I've never heard of such an ish with an adult. Only little babies with formula intolerance's. What a boggle. Yes, I guess I would still wonder if there was an allergic reaction going down with him. That just seems like it would be such a horrible burden to him and not so good healthwise either.

As for being done with the current company...it's hard to tell from where I'm standing right now. I'm beginning to really wonder about this organization...when I can't even get a call back within a timely manner, ya know? Yes, I would still be open to subbing for them, as long as the "care" that the clients required was not of the physical nature. That's my offer. This next venture does not involve -personal care- at all. Rather it offers companionship during fun adventures...like amusement parks, zoo's, field trip type outings, and life coaching for the basics...such as prioritizing ones housework, writing out a grocery list, shopping and staying within budget. Blah-blah life stuff we all have to practice. It's the very sort of thing I thought I was getting into with the first organization. This one specializes in FUN though. Like they all just returned from a massive jet boat trip, they have themed parties, go to the Grand Prix, baseball games, camp outs.
As to to shift schedule...from what I gather at this point, it looks like the hours would be 20-25 hr.'s a week, flexible...yet also dependent on the clients needs. Also there would be some notice as to when a field trip adventure would be planned. So very do-able.

Party at Loty's!! That ought to be a Fun time!! Are you guys still having pool weather, or has that shipped passed? Ours has fully passed, and I suppose we're gonna need to give some thought to dumping it for the season.

From the Mayo Clinic

Food intolerance and other reactions

There are a number of reactions to food that cause similar symptoms to a food allergy. Depending on the type of food intolerance you have, you may be able to eat small amounts of problem foods without a reaction. By contrast, if you have a true food allergy, even a tiny amount of food may trigger an allergic reaction. Because a food intolerance may involve some of the same signs and symptoms as a food allergy does — such as nausea, vomiting, cramping and diarrhea — people may confuse the two.

One of the tricky aspects of diagnosing food intolerance is that some people are sensitive not to the food itself but to a substance or ingredient used in the preparation of the food.

Common conditions that can cause symptoms mistaken for a food allergy include:

Absence of an enzyme needed to fully digest a food. You may not have adequate amounts of some enzymes needed to digest certain foods. Insufficient quantities of the enzyme lactase, for example, reduces your ability to digest lactose, the main sugar in milk products. Lactose intolerance can cause bloating, cramping, diarrhea and excess gas.
Food poisoning. Sometimes food poisoning can mimic an allergic reaction. Bacteria in spoiled tuna and other fish also can make a toxin that triggers harmful reactions.
Sensitivity to food additives. Some people have digestive reactions and other symptoms after eating certain food additives. For example, sulfites used to preserve dried fruit, canned goods and wine can trigger asthma attacks in sensitive people. Other food additives that could trigger severe reactions include monosodium glutamate (MSG), artificial sweeteners and food colorings.
Recurring stress or psychological factors. Sometimes the mere thought of a food may make you sick. The reason is not fully understood.
Celiac disease. While celiac disease is sometimes referred to as a gluten allergy, it isn't a true food allergy. Like a food allergy, it does involve an immune system response, but it's a unique immune system reaction that's more complex than a simple food allergy. This chronic digestive condition is triggered by eating gluten, a protein found in bread, pasta, cookies, and many other foods containing wheat, barley or rye. If you have celiac disease and eat foods containing gluten, an immune reaction occurs that causes damage to the surface of your small intestine, leading to an inability to absorb certain nutrients.

THANK YOU!!! Do you accept credit cards?? I will pay you right now!

Well, I am just in passive aggressive email mode today!

Here is a sampling

A's teacher, calling her out on punishing the entire class with losing recess when only a few kids were acting up (A was not one of them)
Said I am sure there was a misunderstanding there

The lady at our old prop took it upon herself to tell me that one of the residents there brought her candy today and proceeded to tell her how much he didn't like me because I wouldn't have a window replaced for him. So I told her if I had a piece of candy from every resident that didn't like her, I wouldn't need to buy Halloween candy this year! truth hurts baby!

I did do some retail therapy tonight though and bought two Loty~inspired shirt sets. Both gray though Seems dull and boring so I will have to add a little color!!! I was supposed to be getting groceries and dang it if somehow the car just pulled into the mall instead! Silly car!!!

Oh and......while I was there I had a little mini makeover at the bare mineral place, just to give it another whirl. I don't know....I am just not a fan of that brand. Makes me look *crinkled* What brand are you using now that you like? I think I had that ELF stuff but its not staying put very well I guess you get what you pay for huh?

Well holy smokeage!! -Someone's- got their crank on 'em today!! What a full on crack up to dole out the hard core truth to the candy flaunter today!! Serves her right!!
And yes to the inquiring minds wanna know why the heck the teach pulled that nonsense?! Not a fan of missing out on recess at all. NO. Good for you for lettin' her know, that you know, and clearly aren't happy 'bout that.

Yay for new Loty~wear!! I like gray, and I bet you could spice it up with some color/flair real easy. Like how about even just a colorful flower in your hairdo, or a pretty sparkly necklace? OoOOooooh yah!!

Hmmmm, I've never had any luck with the bare minerals either...and for that very same reason. Yet I hear girls talkin' about lovin' the stuff all the time.
I can't recommend a good product now, as I'm still workin' with the same 6 containers I was stuck with from my last order of Coastal Scents, after they'd made that formulation change...and the stuff is just all wrong. I have to mix cornstarch into it and mix it up, in order to TRY to minimize the full on high gloss shine that it wants to leave me with. So frustrating!!
So I'm all ears to find out if you discover something worth knowing about. One of these centuries I may run outta this stuff, and be on the hunt!! Maybe?!

So no groceries for the Loter's...just a make over with crinkle and gray tops. Totally sounds like how one of my excursions could go. Great intentions though!!

Oh I've been meaning to ask you!! How are things going with your helper at work? Has she turned out to be a good match for your needs?

After some light choring this morning, and dishin' out the lunches...I packed the kids up with me for some errand running. I don't usually haul them around with me...but I've started to feel that with the weather beginning to keep us in as often as it has lately...and with Ace not being able to take on any substantial walks...due to his achy aging leggys...that it might be good to let them at least get out for some sort of adventure...and see the sights. So they got to cuss at folks walking by our car, while I did some light grocery shopping, hit the library, then home for a bit. We all popped back out to retrieve their Pa, and then went to the bank, and onto Petco, where they got to go in & cuss at everybody there & get treats. So, Great fun was had!!

Seems that the beloved Pinterest is trying to go & upset me with their wiley invasive ways. It used to be that when I would refresh Pinterest...it would show me the things you, Naty, Little G, and a couple others, and I had posted. Zip. That was it. That's how I would have hoped it would remain. NOW...it shows me things that it (Pinterest) *thinks* I might enjoy, in addition to the rest. But I don't enjoy that!! That sorta extra stuff should only be made available when I hit the "Everything" button!! MADDDDD!!

Goodmorning Muh Budz!!

Just returned from dropping the Hunk & his bike at the workforce. He's on his own for lunches & gettin' himself home today, as I've got a lot of runnin' to do.
Aside from the interview this afternoon, in the next town over...I have many stops I'd like to bust out while I'm in that neck of the woods. I may not get to all of them, and have to push some off till tomorrow...but more the better today, cuzz tomorrow I'll be post-op with the Anaconda for the left over running.

Whatcha all up to around here?!

Hiya!!

BiZee day!! Interview went real well. The pres/owner of the company was very pleasant to visit with. Highly educated fellow, with many years of experience working in the mental health field. A real go getter!! I agreed to come on board for very part time work, to begin with, including sub work as well.

I was feelin' a little frazzled/tired after our meeting, and just not willing to focus the needed energy on the many errands I had out in that town...so I only nailed a couple of 'em.

How did it go down around here today?!

fun story for the evening

I was walking past a starbucks drive thru tonight and sniffing the air like a weirdo and was like ....mmmmm man that smells so good! The all of the sudden a voice came out of nowhere and says "Hello!" I was like Hi, love you! She says Love you too!
