Not sure what’s going on with my weight these last few days. I am hoping it is just “pre-TOM” messing with me and that I will show some actual weight loss when he is gone.

Hi everyone My goal for May is to lose about 6-7 pounds. So far it's been slow going! I'm 190.8 this morning and hoping for 184 by the end of the month.

Feeling better—the scale is moving down again. Hopefully it will be down again tomorrow. I have 4 days left on my induction period and I’m down 9.4 so far.

Hi all! I haven't checked in since April 30th and boy, have I been a bad girl! I attended 3 dinner functions in the past week and all my good intentions to stay in control fell by the wayside. But I'm back and will try to behave even with Mother's Day and a few more events in the coming days!

Starting Phase II of South Beach today. Phase I went well (down 8.2 lbs.) I know my weight loss will slow down now, but that is ok just as long as it goes down. I am really trying to make this my WOE for life this time.

Thanks Krazy Cat. I see your WOE is JUDDD. What is that? How does it work?

I over did it a little yesterday plus TOM made for a bad weigh-in this morning…..still hopeful it is mostly TOM.

I will have visitors (in-laws) for the next week and a half and celebrating husbands birthday, so not sure how “good” I will be able to be. Goal weight for May is not looking attainable at this point, but if I can get down into the 130’s, I will be happy.

Hi KYSoccerMom - I bet you're just getting hit with TOM bloat and good scale numbers will await you next week! Happy b'day to your DH and enjoy visiting with the in-laws!

JUDDD is a calorie cycling plan that isn't necessarily done LC, but I do it LC because it helps keep my appetite and cravings in line! It's almost like dieting every other day, but one does still need to watch their up day (UD) calories if they want to lose! There's a whole JUDDD section under the Weight Loss Plans section of the board, so you can read more about it if you'd like.

Today will be one more bad eating day (DH birthday celebration) and then I will be totally back on track with my eating. Plan to go back and do a few days of Phase I (induction) and hopefully that will help jumpstart me to hit my goal of getting into the 130’s.

Angel—You can do it! I know you said this month would not be so good. Hopefully you will get through it without too much gain….just take it one day at a time.

Krazy cat—I will have to read some of the board posts on JUDDD. Sounds kind of interesting, but not sure it would be for me. I do better I think with consistent type of eating.

Alright. Weighed in, the damage is 191. Mostly if not all water weight. Must stay on plan and get this off. Thanks all for the kind words. Been so busy and I don't see myself slowing down anytime soon. I'll be moving up to Alaska next month so i'll probably drop off the face of the earth for awhile. I'm hoping I can stick to LC up there

It's just going to be a bad week. My in-laws leave on Sunday, so it will be much easier to go back to my diet once they leave. I'll check back in on Monday.

Yes it's a lot of stress. Ever feel just tired with no end in sight?
I'm looking forward to the future though I hope everyone is doing their best. I'm trying, and I've slipped a bit this month and must remind myself I can't back slide too much or it will be right back to where I was.
