Hi!
Gorgeous day!
Merlin and I attempted an hour walk - under the assumption that a tired puppy is a happy puppy . . . needless to say, I got an upper body workout too!
I hope he soon learns not to walk in front of me and that I'm in charge.
This may be a long summer!

No clue, Debbie!

Jenn - is your MIL visiting until school gets out?

Becky - wow! You're becoming a running machine!!
Did you get your final time?

I did get my time... And I'm embarrassed but I am using the stroller as my excuse!!! Lol. Kim did good tho, So that's what is great. But I'm gonna try to trim some time off of my time with this next run since I won't be pushing the stroller.

WONDERFUL weekend all things wedding!
DD's shower was awesome and we had so much fun - Mother Nature cooperated and it turned into a gorgeous day by the time the shower started.

Saturday night DD's and I went out for a really nice dinner - DD23 was very touched - she had no idea of the few things we had planned.

Yesterday the three of us just ran errands together, looked for wedding shoes for DD25 and a dress for her to wear to my niece's wedding this weekend. She is at that stage that trying to find things to fit isn't easy - the thing is, they really don't look much at maternity clothing!!! DD23 headed back to Milwaukee about 6 last night. Although she is home next weekend, we won't see her until the weekend of June 7th. We head to Nashville Friday. She comes home Friday night to dog sit for us and for she and DF's niece's first birthday party.

The craziness continues!

Jenn - we have summer here - it went from cold to hot and humid!

Back to work 12 hours.

Cindy, glad the shower was great and the weather good. Kind of cloudy, humid and drizzly here.

Becky, there is nothing to be embarrassed about. You got out there and did something truly special with your girls.

I really need to go back and reread posts. I have been so busy I don't remember the one where Jenn's MIL is visiting.

I begged Kim to let me mow her grass today and I mowed ours. 1 hr 49 minutes. Yay!

Debbie, I almost certain were coming at another time, John didnt realize that brad gets the girls all 3 days and Cory is going to be out of town. My niece can't be the go between cuz she will be gone so there's no one to hand off the girls and get them from brad. WHY can't he just act like a normal person???

I went to Up and Running today and got a pair of Saucony shoes that feel like a dream!!! A pair of running socks and a moisture wicking shirt. I'm sure I will be more comfortable now.

Gracie is now 4. I can't believe the time has flown like it is!

The news of the day is that Alyssa has stress fracture in her leg. We have no idea how either. She is constantly jumping up and down when she is watching TV. I vaguely remember last week telling her not to jump

out of the swing. I don't remember if she did or not before I told her. So Kim has to call the Orthapedic doctor tomorrow,

Hit send too soon. Sorry.

So sad to see the footage of Oklahoma. Xenia has been hit by 3 devastating tornadoes since 74.

Mk, looks like you are getting a storm??? I mowed Kim's grass today for her and our front and side yard. I think the next opportunity to get the back will be Friday. Then the front and side will need it again. It took 1 hour and 49 minutes to do Kim's and ours. Nice exercise!!!

Night girls. Have a good night!

Good Morning-

I'm still enjoying having DS19 home. Cali schools aren't out yet and his friend that was here is gone to his older brother's graduation back on the east coast so he's happily hanging out with me when he's not at work.

I still have a ton of stuff that needs to get done for the end of the year and its a little here, but...

Enjoy, Kelly!!!

Merlin and I walked for an hour today.
He has his moments when he's perfect and then just starts walking sideways . . .

I cleaned up the family room and made a pile to put in the car - mainly pictures that need to be framed, and a stack of books to go to the library book sale.

We're having people over on Sunday for a cookout and I need to do some straightening!

Now into the kitchen!

Its that time of year, we have our last Parent group meeting of the year tomorrow night, the swim banquet is next week and we head into summer water polo craziness next week too.
It is nice having some of the college kids here though. DS19 is back at work and several older guys are going to water polo practice so he has gotten to catch up with a lot of people.

I have a pile of papers sitting in the living room with stuff I'm trying to wrap up. I know DH is tired of looking at it, but so am I.

Busy day. Out of the house at 9 and home around 7:30.

Morning staff meeting and education. Then went to Nordstrom. Bought a dress but not for my sons wedding. Went to DSW and bought 2 pairs of sandals. Hung out for a while because I needed to meet youngest son at 4. Made phone call I needed to make and then son and GF went to his psychiatrist appointment. My son wants anxiety medication again. He stopped years ago and really needs it. Went to Target for his meds and bought them some things for their apartment. Got to meet GFs mom. Came home and now coloring my hair.

Tomorrow will be cleaning, groceries and run. Friday mom comes. Dad and BIL come Saturday. There will many airport trips as three people coming different times and two different airports.

Saturday night is the graduation party for Mirsa.

Here I am off work but feel like I have no time.

DH is away till Friday evening.

Straightened my side of the closet but didn't go through clothes to get rid of stuff. Quick job to make more presentable. Tomorrow I clean like crazy. Thing is my house isn't really bad. With just to off us here it doesn't get bad. My mom is a clean freak so I will clean and get rid of visible clutter.

Cindy, I can't believe the wedding is only a month away.

Becky, let me know when your coming.

Kelly and Jenn, when school is out will it slow down for you?? You are so busy with school related things.

MK, your list made me tired. Just a funeral is tiring and emotional.

Lonely here without DH. He hasn't been traveling as much. I got spoiled.

DS 22's girl friend's mom seemed very nice. Glad I got to meet her.

DS30 thinking of changing realtors. They are narrowing own where they want to live but houses sell fast there. There was a house that came on the market and they weren't called by their realtor. I told them about it. It sold before they could see it. Their realtor is away but someone should have been covering for her. They are anxious to get a house this summer.

More changes at work.
Between that and the wedding, I am pretty stressed these days.

Heading to Nashville tomorrow morning, early.....DH wants to be on the road at 6 a.m. Hoping he feels the same way about our return trip on Monday - although 8 will probably be early enough on that end with the wedding on Sunday.

Will try and catch up next week?

Cindy, sounds stressful. Have a nice trip. You are driving to Nashville?? Don't think we would drive that far. How long will it take?? My DH would leave in the middle of the night.

Time to get up and start cleaning. Feel like I am getting DHs old. Hope it is just allergies.

Debbie - it's a 12 hour drive!
DH mentioned when we found out about the wedding that he would drive everyone if everyone wanted to go........he needs to learn to not speak so soon! DD25 and DSIL wanted to go! I am so glad they are, but we can't all afford to fly, so this was the only option. IF they had NOT wanted to go.......DH would have postponed his biz meeting from last week in Nashville to this week and we would have flown. SO.......DD23 is coming home thankfully, for DF's niece, soon to be her niece's bday party, and to dog sit for us......I won't see her as she arrives tomorrow night and leaves sometime on Monday..........

And on that note - I pray she doesn't leave me a mess. She is like a tornado. I asked her if she would please leave the house in the same condition she found it.

Also had to ask my neighbor to come in and let Chloe out when she gets off work tomorrow and before she heads up north.....we leave at 6 a.m. and DD won't get home till about 8-9 PM.

I know about kids who are like tornadoes.

That is a long ride for a weekend!! We fly a lot but not with the kids. It does cost too much. Luckily DH has a lot of hotel and frequent flier points. They just don't always work out for some trips.

I really have to get moving!! I so don't want to clean but my mom is the biggest clean freak I know and I want a super clean house. It might storm later. Not sure if we will get to run. I missed yesterday so really want to get a run in.

Morning!

Cindy - it all sounds incredibly stressful!!
I'm sure everything will work out though!!

Debbie - I have a tornado in my house too - actually 2 of them if you count DH!

I think I'm starting to get Sciatica - sore hip joints and down my right leg. What can I do about that?

MK, sorry about sciatica. I live with it. I do find tight hamstrings make it worse. You may want to work with a physical therapist to learn stretches to help. For me I need position changes. Sitting kills me. The pain in my hip started last year but the back of the leg I have had for years.

Ibuprofen helps. I find physical therapy helpful but when nothing helps I go on steroids!

Depends on your state. Here we don't need MD prescription. Always best to check with your MD.
