Popcorn!? I wish i had only gotten into something like that, Deb. Last night i got stressed. Ended up eating 2 huge spoons of peanut butter, some homemade gnocchi, poptarts, etc. Not good.

Im back on plan today. I have 2 find some other way 2 deal with stress!

Cheryl if May is your worst month for them then its almost behind you although with the snow flurries here today and north wind it sure doesnt feel like it. June is a great time to commit, anytime that is right for you is a great time. Sorry to hear about your freezer , I hate losing food, hope it got fixed. Deb I want to come in the camper too and I promise to help take care of the wine. Enjoy your day to yourself, I much rather dye my hair when no one is around Have a great work out. Karen I have never heard of a Concrete Dome house but it does sound safe. How many horses do you have? Liz we all have bad nights sometimes and stress does have a way of driving us to eat things we normally wouldnt. I pole walk for stress as much as for exercise. Hope things calm down for you soon. Pat its good to see you back, getting all settled in now? Misty yes things are turning green now although the last two days have felt like winter but its suppose to warm up. Yes now we cross the river in freighter canoes, its ok on nice days but not so fun when its windy out. I am sure you enjoyed the dance recital , I know I cant wait till my GD is old enough to watch doing whatever she enjoys.
Laura wont we all have fun piled into the camper I have been doing good food wise and getting in most of my walking but today doesnt look like a walking day to me. Below zero and a cold north wind. But I will get my groceries tonight and rest my shins that have been acting up. Deb now I am craving popcorn But thats a Saturday night thing for me or I would eat it everyday. I do think once in awhile its a much better choice then some things I could eat. Hope you all have a great day!

He will call first and he hasn't called.

Liz I hope things are better

Jo is back! Yes May is The Month tho all in all it hasn't been as bad as some years. So you're cold again up there? Wow. We are cool again so no storms. hope your shins are better.

Have you noticed the underground shelter stories from Moore? So many are talking about having to hold the door closed. That's not good!! I wouldn't have the strength. We had people sucked out of cars and fast food eatery freezers. The Freezer door latch was broken. They better take another look at this and fix it.

Freezer guy will be here in the morning

Karen there was an article in the Ok paper about the lose of homes in these storms. In the comment section were links to monolithic domes and their safety. Somebody is trying.

Pat did you feel the N Ca earthquake where you are?

Liz I always revert to food for stress. It works for me. then deal with the consequences. And deal and deal

Cheryl long weekends are fun I so enjoyed mine last weekend. Wish we had another one. Deb the bridge collapse is on CBC.ca and really hoping you dont have to cross in that area because it said there are going to be very logn waits at the boarder today due to use a smaller bridge to cross. But hope all goes well for you.

Morning everyone!
Yup...I felt the earthquake when we were watching a movie last night. It was only a wittle wiggle of my recliner chair. I said to self...Hmm...did I just feel a shaker or was it just me? Didn't say anything to DH who wears headphones when he watches a movie & he doesn't hear me talk. Soo, I just let it go. Find out this morning...yup there was a 5.7 (w/no damage) Epi-center was about 250mi from us. He said, did u feel it last night...I said, yes.

Deb~Enchiladas...Yum! I'm gonna cook up some Mex tomorrow. I hate night sweats! How did ur hair turn out? Have fun @ Kenny Concert! Take sum pix 4 us!

Yeah....heard about those shelter latches not working or busting open! Glad U found ur pedom! Have a fun safe trip to Tx!

Misty~...On LB staying home Or driving! Get a call from horse lady who needs a partner rider? Glad it's warming up there. Gonna do lake stuff this wknd?

Liz~Hope that carb fest took ur stress away? U OK?

GJO~We had sum snow flurries when we got home. Wasn't a good welcome! Freighter canoes...send us a pic of 1!

Turned your recliner into a rocking chair you still sound a little cool.

We are in the 70's and no storms. May is almost over DH just called and he is having 2 dump truck loads of dirt brought out. Good dirt from a pasture that is now being developed in the industrial park. Lots of holes in the yard from the stumps we had removed and ones we will remove and cover some roots. Another project

Deb how did your hair come out? Did you find an alternate route to Kenny?

Jo yes we need pictures!!

Tortilla Hot Dog Wraps

Author: BS’ in the Kitchen

Recipe type: Lunch

Prep time: 2 mins

Cook time: 10 mins

Total time: 12 mins

Serves: 1

Tired of putting your hot dogs in buns? Try wrapping them in tortillas and frying them!

Ingredients
•1 small tortilla
•1 hot dog
•red onion
•shredded cheese
•salt
•canola oil

Instructions
1.Get a pan on medium-low heat, add enough oil to coat bottom of pan.
2.If you want your hot dogs to poke out each end, then slice two of the edge off each tortilla (refer to picture).
3.Place some red onion near bottom of tortilla, then sprinkle cheese on tortilla, and top with hot dog.
4.Roll tightly around hot dog.
5.Place in pan with the end of the tortilla on the bottom, which allows it to fry and stay closed.
6.Rotate as each side becomes golden brown, cooking until the whole tortilla is golden brown.
7.Remove to paper towel and sprinkle with salt.
8.Serve with your favourite dipping sauces

Pretty tat. What colors and where?

That's a different hot dog. Just look at the pix it looks likes a corn dog. But it is better.

CJ~70's...nice. Would that be 'Dirt Cheap'? Rocking recliner... It actually wobbled @ the foot of it just for a few seconds. No, no recovery of the trees. Just sticks sticking up here & there...what's left of them from all the wind from the storms & some USFS chain sawing/controlled burns.

Deb~ I'd say...Both?! He hears better w/his headphones on. Initially...they were used when one of us didn't want to hear what the other was watching/listening too or when one of us goes to sleep/or gets up earlier than the other. But, now...since it seems he has some hearing loss...he likes to wear his headphones to watch a movie. And...he doesn't like me talking during a movie. Grrr!
Going to be too excited to hold ur camera...Huh? Have LB take them! Purdy Tat...what does it mean to U?
Fried tort dogs look yummy...but, too much fat!
Reminds me of Flautas/Taquitos...U fill up a tort w/chicken/cheese etc., roll up & then fry them up. DH makes corn dogs by wrapping a corn tort around his dog. He adds sauerkraut/ketchup & then nukes it.

Well, speaking of Food...I'm over due for Lunch. Me Hungry! Going to dice up L/O BBQ chic, add to a large salad & add jalapeno jack & avo too. Then top w/salsa & add some vinaigrette to it too.
Laters.
