Sarge's 8 week melt down
 
This is the challenge you are looking for if you have said "I really need to get it together and lose this!" We are going to encourage each other to give it our all whether it is eating well or exercising. We will push each other to push it to the limits! ....to reach our personal best by the end of the challenge....so, pull out those DVDs, dust off those weights, lace up your walking shoes! It is on!

No mamby pamby excuses allowed! Summer is coming! We have 8 weeks until Memorial Day. We want to be the hottest platoon on the beach this summer!

The first weigh in will be tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9th. Our last weigh in will be Tuesday May 28th. This takes us through the Memorial Day weekend....a possible carb assault!

If you forget to weigh in, do so as soon as you can. We are a friendly, fun loving, supportive group, but we are ready to kick booty if you need it!

Hoping to get reenlistments, and all new enlistments are welcome as well!

Everyone is welcome no matter what plan you are on!!! We are all here to support your weightloss journey. Any A.W.O.L. members from past challenges will be given full pardon. We also welcome veterans/maintainers.

Ok, I'm in. No vacations for me coming up which derailed me a bit last challenge, but work will be pretty stressful for me the next 6 weeks or so, so I'll try not to stress eat.

I have nothing going on really until the end of June so this is perfect!

My name is Cheryl and I have been coming to this web site since 2002 (and I am still fat:hyst:) I have actually met a lot of great ladies here. Most don't come on here anymore. But, I will get Tasha to join us, too.

Tasha here :) I have been in here for many many years also, and Cheryl, I'm fat right there with ya!! Have lost 50+ pounds at least 3 times, I want this to be the last!!!

Count me in. Weighed 222.5 this morning. Need some motivation. Am at that good one day, the next two not so much phase...have to get out of it!!

Tomorrow morning beginning again!

Okay, I got on scale:cry::cry::cry::sad:

Put me at 201 - I gained 7 lbs over the holidays.(YES, THE ONES THAT WERE 4 MONTHS AGO:dunno:)

I keep losing and gaining same 5-7 lbs................

Hopefully, this is the last time. I swore to myself that I would never be in the 200's again:down:

Been there, done that, repeat, repeat, repeat......I finally did kick mine o the curb, ou can too! :) I too have gained he terrible 10 from the mentioned holidays....they must go away! Spring is here, and I to rid of my warm wether fat me clothes :( not buying a bigger size.

Still at 201 - I am really going to try and do good this weekend and hopefully will see a loss on Monday.

Weekends are hard, especially if I watch movie or something, all I want to do is eat. Need a plan.

I've been losing and gaining the same 10 lbs over and over. :(
Now that the nice weather is here and an ankle injury is finally feeling better,
I'm hoping to add a little exercise to my routine.:aprayer:

Weekends can be hard. Keeping low carb items that are ready to eat or quick/easy helps. I like my pizza bowl. I take a microwaveable bowl, small single serving type, and start with a layer of moz. Cheese, then a layer of pepperonis, then cheese then a small bit of pizza sauce. Some days I add more layers. Nuke till all melty. Let cool a tad so you don't scald your mouth! Yum! Gooey cheese! Mmmmm!

Here I go again.
Day 1

B: 2 pieces sausage (YAY Cheryl, I ate breakfast LOL)
L: salad with ranch(hopefully....have to go stand in line at the post office)
D: grilled pork steaks, green beans :yummy:

Went to the St Louis zoo yesterday with the fam....had a wonderful time. So much fun to see the joy on dgd's face at all the animals and people. :) Made me double realize how badly I need to lose weight. Was so uncomfortable, wasn't real hot, but if the wind hadn't been blowing, I would have been miserable. I love summer, but since I've gotten big(ger), am really dreading this summer. MUST ACT NOW!

Since I got so much walking in yesterday, am going to keep it going, getting on the treadmill tonight!
