I haven't forgotten about you gals --- I wasn't feeling well over the weekend -- migraine -- so that meant I mostly stayed away from the computer. I was out sick on Monday and am still playing catch-up with work. I've got a HUGE release next Tuesday and have fires popping up all around me that need attention. I'll be so glad when it's April 23rd! --- assuming the release goes smooth on the 22nd.

Nice to see some new faces here

Still hanging in. Stella has her first cold so I've been cuddling with her extra the last 2 days. Eating well and running well. Weight is moving down slowly. I just realized that 4 more pounds and ill be the weight I was last march when I was trying to lose weight. Tired of this endless cycle. I'm going to keep the weigh off for good this time!!

My allergies have been SO bad lately. Never been this bad in my life. Some days my eyes are so red, and I can never breathe. Hopefully it'll better up north

The puppy is SO cute!!! My dd would really love a puppy, but with three cats we really can't have one.

Just relaxing at the moment. Think I might take the girls and go get some ice cream. It sounds really good right now.

Have a great night!!

hi everyone. I've just been relaxing mostly since getting home. sat outside after work but got cold. the sun was out but that didn't mean it was warm to just sit for long. sat down and read for awhile too. I needed a nice quiet afternoon, I guess .

day 3 of training tomorrow, but at least the on line part is done.

as for the puppy...I keep going back and forth on getting another. part of me wants to but then part of me says 2 is enough and by the time these 2 are no longer with us we may not want to be tied down to dogs so much. if they live a normal lifespan, we will be close to retirement or very likely into it already. its so hard when I see a cute pup, though, lol.

Char Bear can't wait to get her new puppy when the adoption is final.

She said maybe then the cat will quit sleeping in her bed

I know, hard to believe that any pup we get after Arlo goes will be a pup that Char Bear will have to take care of for us when we're gone

Glad she likes pups so much so we CAN get another one when we're old

lol. yeah! I know that Liana doesn't mind coming and staying here when we go on vacation but who knows what her future holds and if she would continue to be able to do that down the road.

I can't WAIT till Char Bear gets her puppy!

Right now our baby swears when she grows up that she'll live next door in moms house with lots of dogs, cats, goats, horses, the kid she adopts and maybe a husband

I never want a puppy again! Lol. Our next dog will be a rescue, and it won't be until both ours are gone.

So it's not my allergies. Miss Stella got me sick! I'm so congested and this morning my throat is killing me from breathing with my mouth opened all night. Ugg.
And of course Kyles daycare is full until 12:30 today when he usually goes in at 10. I just want to sleep! I'm hoping for a cancellation. Ill call back in about an hour.

Planned on running and going through some more stuff today but now I just want to lay around

I didn't mind the puppy stage so much ONCE they were sleeping through the night and potty trained for the most part.

I forgot to get my roast in the crockpot this morning. I REALLY wanted it for dinnner. just put it in the oven using my deep dish covered baker from pampered chef. hopefully it will get done in a reasonable amount of time. yikes!

OH!!! and we get a gift tomorrow. we are already supposed to have one more late start with the students because of our training (once a year required training to work there). anyway, the facility also has a training going on. normally when they have training they would just bring in extra guards to cover while some are in training. but with our late start (supposed to start at 10:30) and there's is supposed to be done at 11:00 they didn't really want to bring in extra staff just to cover a 30 min. period. the head guard asked if we could just start later. well, my class has lunch at 11:00 so they will just come in after lunch at 11:30. we still get out at 1:00 so VERY short day with them. maybe tomorrow I'll get through without having to kick someone out, lol. today within the first 45 minutes we were in class (after starting late, anyway) I had to kick one out. at least that was the first one this week .

Good morning.
Reporting a nice loss for this week. Seems LC WW is doing the trick for me right now..that and my runs. This week I'm aiming to fit in 2 weight workouts as well.

Not much going on today. I got a double jogging stroller for Christmas and I think Stella might be big enough to sit in it so we are going to walk today. Dh is gone until late.

Me and Stella are still stuffy but I'm feeling better right now.

Hope everyone is well.

We got 8" of snow on top of a couple inches of icy slush yesterday/overnight. The drive into work today was brutal!

My work week hasn't improved -- Wednesday I was here 12 hours and Thursday was 11 hours. I don't expect today to be much better. I would have loved to stay and work from home today, but I have 7 meetings. Yuck!!

Sorry I don't have time for personals -- hoping for a calm weeend so I will pop-in and 'chat' then.

ugh Kim. I'm ready for summer and we didn't even get any snow this year, lol.

dh and I woke up extra early. like I think I got up about an hour earlier than normal. I need to look over my training material for a test I have to take today but other than that I'm ready for work. training this morning. and guards have a training also so we are starting even later. (I guess I said that yesterday, lol). anyway, will bring the boys in at 11:30 and be done at 1:00. whew, tough day, huh? bwahahahaha. grant it, a lot can happen in an hour and a half but at least if there are boys with attitudes I won't have to deal with them long .

Looks good to me!!!

Made a veggie fritatta today for dinner -- yellow squash, red pepper, zucchini and pepperoni in it topped with sharp cheddar cheese. Tasted SO good. I can't wait until summer to start getting better veggies.

We have a local italian store in Greensburg that sells wonderful fruits and veggies. If I buy brussel sprouts at wally world, they might last a week if that. But if I buy them at Delallos, they last about a month. So I don't have to be in a hurry to eat them. The produce is a little more expensive, but if it last much longer and doesn't go bad before I use it, it is definitely worth it!!

Back to work tonight. Not ready!! lol

Have a great night!

Sent done of the produce with dd but still have plenty left.
