the sun is out some this afternoon, but I'm still cold. send the 80's here .

ended up meeting my dad for lunch after work today. just got home. I still have a stupid headache! boooooo!

wow, nobody has posted since yesterday afternoon. yikes!

got my work out in. whew, tell you what the first time through each routine in a week (started a new workout plan this week) is tough. sometimes its hard to know what weight to do for each exercise that first time through.

now I can relax the rest the night. tomorrow I go to work then have a 90 min. deep tissue massage in the afternoon followed by chiro adjustment. that means I will not want to do anything the rest the night. on Saturday we are supposed to meet dd24's boyfriend's family for dinner. looks like probably at a Chinese place. this is going to be lots of people. dd's boyfriend's family that will be there...2 sisters, one of his brothers and his girlfriend, parents, grandpa. then on our side there will be dh and I, dd22, and my Dad and L. of course dd24 and her boyrfriend, lol.


tomorrow, I work then get a 90 min. massage followed by chiro. yeah! won't want to do anything tomorrow after that probably. good thing there is left overs from what I cooked today .

I went to bed early for me last night. I was so tired when I got home from Sweet Adeline's practice. Read for a bit and then just couldn't stay awake. But I actually got 8 hours of sleep last night!!

Not doing much today. Looking up some recipes on the net. Always looking for new ones!!

did you find some good recipes? I tend to look up a lot but then forget to make them, lol. I need to get back to trying something new once or twice a month.

I have a hair appointment at 9:00 this morning. made myself get up and eat and am going to get a weight workout in before I go. decided if I just make myself do it It will be done and I won't have to refix my hair after the stylist does it this morning. I'm a little sore but that should get better over today and tomorrow (probably partly from my workout the other day and my massage yesterday). I expected to feel this way so its no surprise.

I did get to end the week at work on a good note. no real issues and the boys were reasonably good for me. there were only 6 or 7 of them in class the last couple days but they sure kept me busy. It was mostly a good busy though. they were working and either needed help or needed assignments signed off. only a couple of them did I feel I had to watch super close because of sneakiness. (not that all of them can't be sneaky but some do it consistently when they know you can't see, lol).

lets see, I got the guest room ready last night. not sure if dd24 will be staying here or not (or her boyfriend) but I wanted the room ready either way. I really NEED to get in the habit of just washing the bedding or at least changing the sheets right after someone leaves. that way its just ready for the next person whenever they come. I keep planning on doing that but then I realize when its time for someone to be here I still haven't done it, lol. I had dh help me change the sheets. I can do it by myself but one side is real close to a wall and it was a lot easier with 2 of us.

I made stuffed meatloaf with mushroom sauce, mashed red potatoes, and honey glazed carrots with fruit salad for dessert. It was SO good!!

Just watched Overboard. Haven't seen it in ages!

Back to work tonight. So much fun. lol

dd24 just got here a little bit ago. not sure if she is staying here or not tonight but her boyfriend is off golfing and she is here visiting for a bit. dinner is not for over 4 more hours.

spent the afternoon visiting with dd24. she just left to meet up with her boyfriend and we will meet them all at dinner in about 1 1/2 hours. she thinks they are staying here tonight, but she's not sure.

um...she brought CUPCAKES for us...which means for me because dh won't eat them, lol. they are my favorite chocolate cup cake recipe that she made when here (except this time her boyfriend made them). I have only had 1 so far, though.

Well after days eating pure junk and a LOT of food I spent the last 2 days LC and I'm down to a new low this morning. My goal is to be under 120 by the time we move may 20th. That's a little over 6 pounds in a month. Totally doable. Looks like my body just doesn't tolerate carbs as well as I was hoping.

I am at 169 today! Hope to stay down for my weigh in tomorrow.

168.4 today!!! Woohoo!! I've managed to keep up what I lost from being sick a few weeks ago. Around 4 more pounds and I'll actually be considered in my normal weight range!!! WOW!!!

Made beef & broccoli stir fry with brown rice and vegetable spring rolls for dinner. And Katey made chocolate chip cookies!!

No one here to greet me. I am the saddest I've evah been!

Anyway, going to join anyway!

Been very busy as most of you know, a lot of bad stuff, Mom and Dad going to be with Jesus, divorce, restraining order. WHAM WHAM WHAM!

Just starting to breathe again and thankful for all the GOOD in my life. I have cried more tears in the last year and a half than I have probably together in my whole life. But God has been there and I will NOT give up!

Back on a plan of exercising. Never really stopped running completely but have to work up to what I was doing slowly. Adding weights and cross-training, got a pool now at my apartment

How are ya'll???

On another note so very sad for the people of Boston. Thought about you Amy and cried for the people who were affected by this senseless act of terror. Praying and they are still on my mind today.

I have a few hours of training this morning before bringing the students in. (will be that way the rest of the week). I hate the training, but the shortened class time with students will be nice).

Yeah I even do that here at work, talk to people and they are busy so no one talks back much. That never stops me though. SNORT!

ACK!!!! 7 1/2 weeks old! I do NOT need him, I don't but isn't he cute? probably a good thing it isn't summer when I'd have time to be home with him to train him. not sure I could resist. hard enough to resist right now!


now...puppies aside, Lense, I hope you have a good couple nights of work. dh has to work tonight and tomorrow. he leaves in about an hour or so. I have no plans at this time. and so far I've pretty much done nothing since getting home from work. we did eat lunch out on the front porch, though. that was nice.
