Zogo: How far are you in the C25K? I'm starting the training again...building up a bit of endurance right now since I hadn't worked out at all in almost a year. I've been doing resistance intervals in addition to walk/run ones. How are you liking it?

Hey, Jayce. I'm on week 7 of the treadmill version. This week is basically walk 5 minutes, "run" (which is more like a slow jog) for 25 minutes and walk 5 minutes. I've been wearing a heartrate monitor and had to throw two one minute walks in to get my pulse down when it got too high. So, I'm repeating week 7 until I can get through the run a couple times w/o walking. I think it has been the key to breaking my everlasting stall in the 170's. I followed the program to a T and am amazed how far I've come. Let me know how it goes for you.

Thanks for the reply! So you are pretty much at the end...awesome! I have never been a runner, but I'm trying this to prove to myself I can do it. LOL. I definitely need to invest in a good heartrate monitor. I'm also planning on heading to a local running store and getting fitted for shoes soon.
