Low carb newbie wants out of size 14s!!!
Hi friends!! This is such a great forum! I started low carb a little over 3 weeks ago. I'm only taking measurements as I've given up the scale for Lent. I've already received some great advice from members on this site. I'm hoping to find people to share their stats with ie. weekly updates on weight loss, decrease in inches, progress on diet etc. This would definitely help me be more accountable and motivated through this journey. I'm hoping to lose 30lbs hopefully by the middle of summer. I don't want to get lost in the bad cycle of giving up. Good luck everyone!

Good luck! (Personally I would suggest giving up the scale for good, because so many people obsess over where that willful little needle is pointing. But to each his or her own.)

You may want to take a look at the low carb challenges forum to find a group to share stats regularly with.

I tried that......but no one responded. I figured bc this seems to be more widely used, I'd have better luck here.

I would say to jump in and join any of the challenges listed that seems appropriate to your goals. I know there are a few that are focused on losing by summer.
