Hi Liz. I'm here. I've been super busy since getting back from my trip. Still trying to recover. I stayed mostly on plan. Ate spaghetti one night, but other than that, I was good. I won't post every day's menu for the days I missed, but I'll do that from now forward.

B: coffee w/cream & CO
S: greek yogurt
L: palak paneer
D: zucchini, almonds not very hungry. Might eat more later.

I'm having a rough day. Lots on my mind. Want to go eat chocolate chip cookies. I won't though. Frustrating day. I hope I can pull myself out of this funk.

Hi. Gosh I'm slacking on posting but I'm on plan!
I know you! You had a little cheesecake but you will be back on plan! I don't feel the urge for carbs! It's a miracle. I've survived trips to get ice cream and doughnuts. I've made cookies and lemon bars and I haven't had any! This is a first! Normally one bite sends me into a full on carb binge. You seem to have better self control than me. If I had cheesecake I think it would take me a loooong time to get back on plan. I know eventually I need to have better control.

Today went to sf and had fun

B: Atkins shake coffee with co and hh
L: eggs bad sausage coffee with hh and water
D: taco salad no taco shell water
S: almonds water

I'm slacking, too. Just really busy. I have a lot going on with my daughter and her school projects. *sigh* I feel like I am back in school. I am back on plan without much trouble. The cheesecake didn't seem to affect me much, thank God!

Today's menu:
B: coffee w/cream & CO, HB eggs
L: sausage pumpkin soup
D: lettuce wrap cheeseburger

Glad to hear you are still doing well and avoiding temptations. Doesn't it feel good when you can do that?

Best feeling in the world! So sorry I'm slacking. I think I will be better next week with posting. Just catching up with work. Lots to get caught up on. I'm on plan! Think its been about 8 weeks. My weight is slowing down and stalled for a week but I'm not discouraged. I'm feeling good and gonna keep going!

I hope things calm own for you too!

Hello. Still on plan. Catching up on a busy life. Having a hard time fitting exercise in and can see that my weight is stalling.

B: coffee with hh omelette and sausage with a few berries
L: celery and pb cheese
D: double double pro style
S: protein bar.

I've been a bit unhappy that my weight had stalled for a few weeks. Today I upped my carbs significantly just to see if it will help get the ball rolling again. Will keep you posted.

Hi Liz. Yeah, I've been busy. Sorry to be absent. I'm still on plan. My diet has been pretty much:

B: Coffee w. cream & CO, sausage
L: 2 HB eggs
D: various LC meals, tacos, chicken, veggies, etc.

I don't think we need a new thread every month. We can stay here for a while if you are ok with that.

Let me know how upping the carbs works for you. It helps me sometimes to get the lbs moving again.

I seem to have acquired a few LC apprentices. A young man I know at church was talking about a month ago about needing to get healthy and not knowing what to do to change his mindset about food and way of eating. I told him to read Good Calories Bad Calories and gave him the basics of LC and he jumped right on board. He's losing well and got a couple of friends to join him on the journey. It's interesting that I seem to have become a bit of a diet guru to these young men. I get to share all my LC secrets, tips and tricks. It's kind of fun and cool to see that others are seeing benefits from following a LC way of eating.

Hi Liz. How have things been going for you? I've been good up until this past weekend. I went to Fresno for many grandmother's 80th birthday party and blew it on Sunday. Cookies and pasta and pancakes, oh my! Monday wasn't so great either. Getting back in track today, now that I am home and most of the temptation is gone. I don't think I'm too badly of track, but we shall see.

Hi there!! Soooo busy. I need and promise to get on here at least before bed each night. I'm moving next month and well ... You understand that stress!
I'm still on plan upped the carbs a bit and dropped 2lbs. Yay!

I love how your are the LC guru! I find myself speaking about LC a lot and giving out tips etc. I do find myself frustrated when those same people won't read a book about LC to get educated and rely on me to give them all the tips and scientific details... That cold take days or weeks!

As far as Sunday have you ever asked yourself why you give in? I ask you because it's something I used to be so bad about in the past and or some reason I've found myself being better about staying on plan. Just curious.

So how did ou on today?

We both have been so busy! I'm on plan. No slip ups. Down more weight. Had a trip back east for work and are on plan with travel. Very exciting!
