I don't know what's going on. I'm eating really clean, and drinking tons of water, getting proper sleep. O well, I'm feeling good and I will just keep going. Maybe my body is rejecting all the losses from last week? LOL Anyway, have a great day everyone!

Ugh. Am I the only one having a hard time getting it back together? I was so focused and then wham life started going and I haven't derailed horribly, but I NEED to get my act together or I know i'll go down that slippery slope.

Hope everyone else is close to their goal for this month. Must go chug water................

Hi all, Welcome newbies

Still not doing well. Getting new meds to get through until surgery. Having an MRI next week then surgery. So drugged up half the time I sure that's not helping with the weight. I pain all the time as well, just trying to make it through the days and hold onto some "ok" menus. Trying to tone down the cheese, but that's hard. I love cheese and it's a great snack. Ordered a new Atkin's book and want to reread it as soon as I get it. Gave my other one to my MIL. Hoping that after my surgery I can get back 100% and even start walking again. Keep your fingers crossed for me

So happy today!! I finally did it! Down 100lbs on my 13 month Atkins-versary!

Rondonu and good luck to you!!

Angel - Keep chugging that water and eat clean to get rid of those cravings!! I know you can do it as you've done it so successfully before. We've all had our ups and downs (me especially--lol) and been in your shoes and I admire you for still posting on LCFs because staying accountable will help you get back on track!! Go Angel!!

Pam - You poor thing!! Thinking of you and hope you feel better soon. I'm sure you are just retaining water due to meds and inflammation as you've been doing so well with sticking to your LC plan. I really admire you for being able to stay so focused while in so much pain.

slimlizzie, jacqui & tttmom - I just know you guys will see drops on the scale soon!! The weight loss gods are in your corner!

Get by with a little help from friends

I keep trying to do this on my own and it is not working. My family does not do low carb, nor do any of my co-workers. It can be a lonely struggle.

Had a very bad day yesterday. Broke down and ate all the wrong things for dinner. Found out my meds actually make me gain weight I guess I am doing ok if I am stay the same.

Good morning everyone.

Thanks Jacqui

Well yesterday was a good start day. Down 0.8 lbs. I am not a great water drinker but, I found these Dasani drops 0 calories coconut and pineapple flavored that I have been adding to water. It has helped.

I also bought the wrong dill pickles (Texas Pete, hot sauce flavored). I don't really care for them but I tried one and it brought my cravings to a dead stop. So now when I get a craving I will eat one of those.
