Well my February goal was 235, I ended February at 235.5 but then I went to Vegas and just had fun (I have a new/and first Tattoo to prove it)!

My goal for the end of March will be 234.

Mar 1-5: No wi - Was in vegas and was not being a good girl!
Mar 6: 248 (water weight?)
Mar 7: 241.5 (yes, mostly!)

Sorry about not posting, but have been in the hospital Going to the surgeon on Wednesday so hopefully no spinal surgery again for me, but we will see. I am so sick with the meds they have me on I had to stop some of them yesterday. Weighed myself for the first time this am. Trying to get back in a routine, but still in pain.....Oh well

You are doing really well and the fact that you are even thinking about trying to keep on plan is great. I hope that you get the answers you are looking for on Wed and that the pain starts to go.

Pam - So sorry to hear you were hospitalized with severe back pain. I hope all goes well at the surgeon's appt. and that you get good news and don't require surgery. Thanks! Imagine my surprise when I stepped on the scale this morning, I still can't believe it! I wonder if it's because I have started using coconut oil or if it's because I'm on stricted induction? Maybe a combination of both?

Thank you all All these meds are making me very sick. Not eating much of anything. Tried to eat a full dinner and snacking on some cheese over the day. Can't even drink my coffee even though I put it down on the menu. Funny things is you would think I'd see the scale move down, ha ha ha.......

Just checking in, I didn't get on the scale this morning. I was afraid to. TOM is still here, and I feel like I'm retaining water, so thought I'd wait till tomorrow to weigh.

Good morning all,

Read an article last night about Alison Sweeney (the blonde from Biggest Loser). Anyway she used to be fat but changed her eating habits to LC, basically Atkins and went from a size 12 to a size 2-4, being 5'4". Just nice to see how the change happened. She cut out all sugars totally and starting eating LC. Within 3 weeks she lost so much weight she bought size 8 jeans. 3 weeks later she bought size 2-4. Unreal, but inspiring I am going to stick to my eggs for breakfast, but thought you might like to see her Food Diary: Also she does work out 4 days a week for about 1 hour, walking, running, hiking, weights, etc. She said if she cheats she take a whole week and eats clean to get her good eating habits back. (Good Housekeeping March 2013)

6:30 am - I have a half cup of steel-cut oatmeal with agave sweetener and cinnamon almost every morning. It sticks to your ribs. I also have a nonfat cappuccino with heavy foam.

10:30 am - Time for a snack! I have fruit like cantaloupe or Greek yogurt with some peach, strawberries, or mango in it.

1:15 pm - Lunch... usually a salad with salmon or chicken. I'm not afraid of flavors, so I'll add bell peppers, orange slices, walnuts...maybe goat cheese or cranberries.

4:00 pm - For a light snack, I'll dip into a little bag of cut-up cucumber or carrots and some hummus.

7:00 pm - I eat with my kids. Most nights, it's a lean baked or grilled protein-like a white fish, turkey, or chicken-plus veggies: steamed broccoli and green beans, or baked Brussels sprouts. I chew gum afterward...no dessert for me.

Pam - I wish I could eat what Alison Sweeney eats and still lose, but unfortunately the fruit, oatmeal and hummus have way too many carbs for me. Of course, I don't work out like she does!! The transformation of those BL contestants in such a short period of time is amazing!

I totally get what you mean. I can't eat the oatmeal and much fruit either. Just thought it was interesting. Wow how great would that be to be a sze 4 Ok someday, ha ha ha......Well went up alot this am. All water weight. On new meds and was so sick yesterday. Not really worrying too much about my weight at this point. Once I go through the surgery and get off the drugs things will be better, but in the mean time I will stick to this. My last surgery I was 155 so my real goal is to have close to that in 3 week for the next one. Just funny that I don't want to have the nurses put 161 on my chart. I know I am weird, but it's a small goal at any rate
