Ok...back...

Well, the scale is finally where it was the weekend before my birthday. So, two weeks. Had a couple of setbacks. But hopefully it'll stay down like it should! TOPS tonight so I should show a loss from last time.

Nothing exciting today. Just waiting by the phone in the hopes that they will call and offer me that job! So keep the good thoughts coming!

What do you mean a "dream sleep"?

Sorry it was a rough morning. I went to bed with Sara last night. I honestly think that this hanging around the house, not doing much of anything all day, is taking a toll on me. I feel like I'm always tired.

I meant dream feed. It's when you feed them while they are sleeping. I fed her at 8:30 and put her to bed then fed her a bottle in the basinette at 10:30 when I went to bed. She was up at 1am. If I hadn't fed her she would have been up at 12:30. I just can't figure out how to keep her asleep longer than 2-3 hours. Maybe I'm rushing it. I'm just exhausted all the time!!

I hope you hear about the job Amy! I know sitting around gets bad. Been there!

I've never heard of dream feeding. Interesting.

Well, I just had a mini heart attack. While on my interview they asked if I had sales experience. I did have that nightmare of a month job that let me go because I had called in due to the hurricane. But it wasn't on my resume. I mentioned it to the people on the interview but was honest about why it wasn't on my resume, etc. I told them that I couldn't guarantee a good reference.

Well, I should have kept my darn mouth shut. HR just emailed me and told me that while the info was not on my resume, they needed to name of the company, phone number, supervisor name.

WTH!?!? I was having a heart attack because I knew that they would not get a good reference. So, I called the agency that placed me and THANK GOODNESS they said that they would give a good reference.

I really was having a moment where I thought that this was going to get all screwed up.

I'm still very nervous. And scared...

Amy -- LOTs of good thoughts coming your way. Try not to worry -- you were honest with telling them in your interview the reasons for not including the former company on your resume. And it's great news that your agency will give you a great recommendation. Fingers, toes, etc. are crossed for you!

Stews -- I'll go to work for you if you go for me. You're closer to my dad and I'm missing him terribly. My sister and I are trying our best to convince him and his wife to come to Minnesota for Christmas - I don't know if it's going to work. We've offered to pay for 1 airfare as their combined birthday/Christmas gifts and want them to not give us gifts (usually money).

Jackie -- My granddaughter is nine months and still gets up twice to nurse during the night. I was really lucky with both my kids -- they slept through the night like troopers before they were 3 months old.

I'm really struggling with food. I'm eating on-plan, but really getting tired of foods. Does that make sense? I love to eat -- but just having trouble with what sounds good to eat. I'm really sick of breakfast sausage, but the thought of eggs still makes me . I'm considering switching to a morning protein smoothie for breakfast. Nonfat greek yogurt, frozen berries, protein powder and a splash of Diet Ocean Spray Blueberry Juice. I used a 'calculator' and it came out to 46 grams of protein and 15 carbs. Which isn't bad -- virtually fat-free, but high in protein and "good" carbs. I dunno - -I just hate that this is such a struggle. I know I'm not alone -- it's not like dieting is 'easy'.

Today's food:
B: sausage patties -- the last of what I have cooked!
L: none
D: ground sirloin patty with sauteed mushrooms & swiss cheese, steamed broccoli with garlic basil butter

I'm honestly going to beat Sara's teacher!! Still no info on the project. Sara seems to know some info, but nothing in writing to show me, so I have ZERO idea how to help her. Honestly, I can't wait for this school year to be DONE!!!

What details? LOL

The pay is a little less than what I wanted. But I feel like the paid time off and the benefits make up for that. Its also very close to home. So vacation, benefits, and CASUAL attire!! So I can wear jeans! Weeeeeeee!!

I'll be basically speaking with customers and working on orders. But its a great company and big - but not too big - so they are solid and aren't going any where. They work with bioscience. Plasma and blood diseases to be exact. I'm excited!!!

Thanks everyone! I'm excited...and nervous...but mostly relieved!!!

Yeah, today I'm getting Sara on the bus and doing...NOTHING. LOL And after school we are heading to the mall to see the Easter Bunny and I'm going to grab a new pair of jeans. I only have a couple really - and where I get to wear them every day I'd like to have more than two.

So, lazy day...

Mom is waiting to hear on a job. I really hope she gets it and hears soon. I'll be sad for her if she doesn't. She feels good but is afraid her age and and lack of working outside the home for several years will work against her. So, keep her in your thoughts.

Morning

Enjoy your lazy day Amy! I'm taking Kyle to an Easter egg hunt and picnic. Gonna be chilly but he'll enjoy it. I told my boss I wasn't going to be here. I hate to miss it because I'm sitting waiting for her.
Hoping to run this evening but well see how late dh gets home

Where is everyone today?

How are you feeling stews??

Kyle had fun at the egg hunt. Then after nap dh took him to his softball practice and me and Stella went running. Waiting for Stella to take her evening nap so I can shower and relax.

Jackie...you killed the thread! LOL

I was lazy all day and then picked Sara up at the bus and went out. Just sat down.

Tomorrow I probably won't be on much - possibly not at all.

I have a busy day. Leaving at 6:30AM to go to my nieces college where she is studying to be a dental hygienist. So she is using me for practice. I'm going to get ex-rays and a cleaning for free. Only down side is that the place is over an hour from me and I have to be there at 8:AM until about 4:30PM. Then fly home and go straight to my Excel class.

If I'm not too pooped, I'll pop on before bed.

I've been gone most the day. sorry!

came home from work and just wanted to eat normal. I was feeling like I was going to lose it and end up in a binge if I couldn't. we ended up going out. drove out of town (about 40 min.) and went to Olive garden, then to costco and was just in and out the rest the evening.

I still ate mostly soft food but at least it felt like a splurge and like Normal food. not being restricted.

I had a horrible day at work yesterday and once I got home -- just vegged out -- actually went to bed at 7:45pm and watched a couple shows on my iPad.

My 10.5 hour day yesterday started with an architect calling me at 6:50am about my "damn developer team". She was mostly giving me a hard time -- but equally mad about some coding changes they'd made to one of the online modules for our product. The day spiraled downwards from there. I ended up staying until 4:30pm to go to a meeting. I was mentally exhausted by the time I got home! I did make some awesome bunless mushroom swiss burgers last night -- leftoevers are today's lunch.

Today's gotta be better, right?

Sorry everyone had a long rough day!

I'm so tired of getting up in the mornings feeling exhausted! Last night Stella slept well but recon woke up barking for some reason and then Kyle got up once too. I sent dh to him but it still woke me. I can't remember the last time I actually slept!

Hanging around today waiting for my boss. If she comes early enough I think ill take the kids to the library. Going to arch dh play softball this evening.

Jackie -- I'm with you on waking up exhausted. I had the hardest time falling asleep last night (I'm sure I was still keyed up about work) -- and then Lucky (my 14 1/2 year old cocker spaniel) had to go out at 11pm & 2am. A library trip sounds fun -- I can't wait until Hailey (DGD)is old enough for me to take her.

sorry I haven't been around again. I have to get off here but wanted to check in and say I've had a good day food wise and even did a double work out. I did one of my arm workouts and a leg one both today since I haven't worked out all week. that way I can still get all 3 in this week.

have a good night

Hi everyone!!! It has been a crazy week. I went on a retreat with my singing group last week. Had a blast!! And then Monday was my dd's 17th birthday. And I have been sick since Wednesday. The good news is that I am down in the 160's after being sick. Hope to keep most of it off.

Just relaxing andwatching greys anatomy on amazon. I've done nothing but sleep since yesterday morning.
