Thursday!
What a day yesterday! I came home SO crabby - and as Kelly - thought I wouldn't work out. I dragged myself to the treadmill and did 45 minutes and felt so much better after!

Go Kelly and I!

Between a GS session, the student event and some drama over a decision I made on Monday - which prompted me to have a chat with our Dean yesterday morning - yesterday alone has me wishing for the weekend. Do people EVER grow up??
Thankfully, our Dean had my back and he had some positive things to say about what my team is doing.

Today I don't have a thing going on! Two of my teammates are doing tours with MS kids and the other one is just back from a conference, so I said I will cover calls and walk ins for the morning.

Debbie - I sure hope you are feeling better!
Jenn - do your kids have a lot of early releases? My whole family LOVES The Middle!!

I am anxious for Mad Men & RHOC to start - I think they start the first week of April!

Off to the groomer to drop Chloe off before work......have a great Thursday all!

I am at hospital with my DS28 and his DF and her mom. Becca just went back to prepping and her surgery is at 9.

Kelly and Cindy, good job on the workouts!! I haven't worked out for in a few weeks with travel then illness. I think I am on the mend! I am still stuffy. I will start running again soon but waiting till next week or maybe Sunday. I just don't want to go backwards and stay in the getting better mode.

Good morning-

I ended up not going to the swim meet because DS15 didn't get to go because of his English grade. Not a surprise, he just needs to turn in all of the homework (that he did but forgot to turn in) and he'll have a decent grade again. Oh well, it was a much needed break for all of us and we all went to bed super early.

Cindy, YEAH! It seems like the hardest part is getting started! I always feel better when I do something.
It sounds like today will be a much needed break for you today. Hope its a better day! (and of course, there are some people, mostly women it seems, that never seem to leave HS)

Debbie, hope everything goes well with the surgery this morning. for Becca.
You inspire me btw, but I'm glad you are taking it easy until you aren't sick anymore!

MK, thanks!

to everyone else!

Yea Kelly and Cindy! I need to get back into working out! I got out of it when my "workout buddy" moved.

Debbie-Becca's having surgery? I must have missed something! Is everything okay?

Going to the middle school today, but I just want to stay home!

So glad it is Thursday though. Bells tonight, but nothing tomorrow. Staying home all day! Not even going to go to the girl scout parent meeting! I just want a day to chill. Seems like I've been running all week.

Hope you all have a great day!

Well, you're all better women than I am!!
I was having a horrible day yesterday too that started with my car being completely dead when I went out to get to the gym . . . . it also included a mom visit, another to my friend with the stroke, and various other things . . . .

Since I did make it to my workout, I knew exercise wasn't going to make my day better . . . . luckily wine did!

Debbie - How's Becca doing?

Jenn - I'm staying at home today - I have lots to do AND it's 16°!!
So much for Spring!

Kelly - glad you got the night off!

Cindy - RHOC?

off. It wasn't big surgery but a big lump. Thankfully is a fibrous type thing.

I went to Target. Bought a potty for Bella and a few outfits for summer. Found pants marked down to 2.50 she could use now. Did get her a little sweater too.

Now I am off to rest and read. Getting up at 5 makes me tired but I feel better. Still a little stuffy but no more decreased appetite or nausea. No problem eating now.

Debbie, glad everything is okay for Becca AND that you are starting to feel better. Hang in there and

MK, for you too. Sounds like a tough day emotionally and glad the wine helped!

Jenn, YEAH for a day at home!

DS19 told me I'm not allowed to mention the weather, I assume the same applies here.

MK, missed your post earlier. Sorry you had a lousy day yesterday. I had to get a new battery a few months ago. Was glad my car was at home when it wouldn't start.

Kelly, it is beautiful here but cold for March.

Spring is coming. Hopefully April is perfect!!!!

My car was at home too - but no one else was! DH was working 2 hours away, DD29 was already at work and with her client schedule, she can't leave . . . . and i had a full day.

Luckily I have an amazing neighbor who chose to be late for her college class to jump my car!

We don't have much snow, but it's so cold and the wind is blowing at 20-25mph. Brutal!

He told me they still have blizzard conditions and its really cold too.
Their team have service hours to complete and they are all teaching grade school kids to swim. He said today was like herding cats, 3 groups of 20 kids back to back (mostly 8 y/o's) and just DS19 and one of the girls team members. He had fun with the first lesson he taught, somehow I don't think today was as much fun.

TGIF!
What a week....however after all that has gone on this week, I just got a message through FB from our advisor on one of our other campuses and the office manager telling me how much they love working with me....."So student focused, always positive and genuine to work with." I needed that after this week!!!! These are the things that get us through!!!

Off and running.....DD23 comes home tonight - we have a dress appointment tomorrow morning. I think she has a hair appt too to look at putting her extensions in for her wedding.....they may go back late tomorrow afternoon. They will be back next Saturday for Easter and I still need to figure out my brunch menu.

Love and hugs........

Getting ready to go to the dr for my arm. I didn't take any IBU or Tylenol yesterday so the pain wasn't numbed. I hope I don't get the run around like I did with my other dr.

I missed about Becca having surgery too. There's something nagging at the back of my mind that I read it. Glad it's over for her. Is she staying in the hospital or is it an outpatient?

Gotta run... My appt is at 915

Cindy, I am sure you are fantastic in your job. It is nice to hear it from people!!

I saw many vegan brunch ideas on Pinterest. One thing I want to make is baked oatmeal. Berries are starting to come down in price and are often part of the recipe.

I work till 7. I am finally feeling like myself. I am waking up at my normal time. I still get tired and my nose is still stuffy but I am back. I want to start running again.

Tomorrow I am watching Isabella. Not sure what time I need to be there. Don has a meeting for his Cancer to 5K program he is coaching and he will meet me there. I hope she doesn't have a fit when her parents leave.

Good Morning-

This will be a short post, DS15 isn't moving very well this morning.

Cindy, it is always nice to hear from other people, especially when its been a frustrating week.
Not sure what we'll do for Easter lunch here, but I would really be lost trying to add vegan items. We do that for one person we usually invite when we have parties for DH's colleagues. She really appreciates the effort. (we put some of that one item aside and quietly give it directly to her to make sure she has something she can eat)

Becky, hope its nothing serious with your arm, but I'm glad you are getting it checked out!

Debbie, have fun with Isabella.

MK, Jenn, & Kaye,

She's thinks its a rotator cuff issue.

Ordered new snazzy glasses today. I'm getting the nighttime coating cuz night kills my eyes with the glare from the lights. Scheduled my mammo for next Friday, it should have been done on December.

I'm making John some pillsbury Sugarfree brownies.

The X-ray is the first step. She's leaning towards a possible rotator coff I jury so she said maybe an MRI next.

You do need an MRI. If you broke a bone you wouldn't have tolerated it the last few weeks since it started. Have you seen orthopedist? Sometimes a cortisone shot helps. That is what I had.

Leaving work.

Need to be at Bella's house by 8 am tomorrow DH won't get there till midday.

She is agreeing with you, Debbie but she said our insurance is gonna ask for a X-ray first. Then the MRI and Orthapedic doctor and maybe a cortisone shot to calm it down.

My stupid insurance requires an X-ray before they will consider an MRI, my doc said she thinks that's what I'm going to need and I think she'll refer me to an orthopedist
