Quick DS15 isn't moving very well this morning, so I need to do some pushing.

Waiting for eye doc to open. Need to find an answer for working on computer all day at work. I am told I squint. Yet I can read a book without glasses or my one contact lens.

Feel yucky and may go home and go back to bed. It is a rainy day and a good one to be home. Supposed to stop later this afternoon.

Hi!

Cleaning and organizing this morning.
Our bathroom really needs it - and both girls are having "issues" - sometimes I don't even want to answer the phone!

Debbie - hope you feel better! Did you go home?

Jenn - are you doing awards for a younger son?

Ran in to Trader Joes then home. Took a nap and feel better. I feel like it is mostly sinus. I am tired and hoarse but not congested so much.

Trader Joes has gluten free tomato soup. It is cheaper then the brands I get at one grocery store. It is in a container like broth or stock not a can.

I need to run to post office to mail my brothers birthday card. I also have to send a package back as they sent the wrong size slippers for Isabella.

Then I will be folding mega laundry. Probably not running tonight. The rain stopped and it is beautiful out. Too bad cold weather coming back.

I hear you on the phone thing MK. DS28 texted me to call him yesterday and I thought what now. Actually his DF has to have benign lump removed next week. I will be there. Her mom won't come if I am there. Her mom is in grad school and works full time at night and they live 2.5 hours away if no traffic.

Stayed home from running.

Tomorrow I have charity luncheon. We gave a donation but we aren't in the league of this group.

Debbie- Glad you are feeling better! I love TJ's...they have a decent gf selection and their prices are really good. Not looking forward to the cold weather!

MK-yes! Henry is a Wolf. He will be moving up to Bears in June. I'm his den leader (There's a story behind *that* too!) Now if I could just find a good troop for Millie. I don't like the one she is in now. The leader is nice, but the way she does things does not sit well with me. Millie has been in since September and they have yet to work on any patches. All they do is arts and craft type stuff, which I know is fun but it's not the purpose of girl scouts!

Kelly-Did you get him moving? Mine all had trouble this morning!

Cindy-where are you? Hope everything is well!

Padraic came home not feeling well this afternoon. He's been coughing and didn't eat well at supper. He's got an SOL tomorrow, but I may keep him home if he's still feeling badly. I know there's an SOL make up day if he needs it.

So tired, but HK is on! And I need a shower!

mK... I didn't get to see all of OZ cuz Gracie got petrified. I saw enough to know I want to buy it when it corms out on DVD. Maybe I will slip away by myself and watch it in the theater. Alyssa LOVED it tho, Kim said she got a little scared but kept trooping though it. I think she's gonna have my love for scared movies.

Mom got the plane tickets to go visit my aunt next month in Texas. If mom chickens out I'm still going!

I love my treadmill. I did an hour and 8 minutes on Sunday, 1 hr 16 minutes broken onto 2 segments yesterday, took today off. Kim ran on it today. I'm a fair weather walker, if its the least too warm or too cold I don't go. Sometimes I'm just too lazy to venture outside my house after I get out of work.

Going to bed, at least will try. My arm hurts so bad I can't sleep. Hurt it at the gym 2.5 weeks ago, didn't realize the treadmill was starting and it threw me. I'm close to going to the doctor but this week is too busy, maybe I should go to urgent care where they can X-ray it, my doctor would send me separate which means working 2 visits in

Still sick. Not going to Charity thing. Doing zilch today.
DH decided since I am sick not to go.

Becky, I wondered if the movie would scare the girls.
Hope your arm is OK. What part hurts??

Oh Debbie! Feel better!!!

Becky - that's along time on the treadmill!

Busy day yesterday - from work to rental place for shower stuff, TJ looking for "stuff" with DD25 - stopped at Starbucks before that visit! Then after all, we went to dinner. I was home by 7 and pooped.

Today off to work, a Getting Started session I facilitate, a high school group this afternoon......

My parents aren't coming this weekend and I am glad - I think I just need one day with NOTHING to do and NO WHERE to go!

Took ibuprofen and it cured my horrible headache.

I really feel more tired then anything right now.

Cindy, did you find any good "stuff"?

I am still upstairs. I need to complete some healthcare spending paperwork. I have a number of receipts.

DS30 starting to look at houses. They got qualified for a mortgage. They have decided to stay in Prince George's County near their jobs and her family. You can buy an older small house there in the 200,000-300,000 range. Isabella needs her own room. She wakes up and wants them to let her in their bed and then no one sleeps. It is hard daring a room with a 2 year old. She is very verbal too.

Yay for Pope Francis!!

Debbie - do you have the flu?

Cindy - you're always running around - yes, you need a day off!!

Becky - there were definitely some scary parts in Oz, Jack the Giant Slayer was even scarier!!

I think I have a virus but not the flu. I haven't had a fever. My eyes don't hurt. I have a cough, headache, fatigue and intermittent sore throat. The cough isn't congested.

I watched the Pope coverage.

DH had to go sleep on the couch because I was keeping him awake coughing. I need to buy cough syrup. I may take a Vicodin because it can help reduce a ough and maybe it will mke me sleepy.

Thursday!

As always, issues with my parents.
Today is my Mom's 80th.

I did find some stuff! I got some candles and this cute little trunk thingy....restyling or redecorating my tv stand. The one we got for Christmas. It's getting there....then I got this milk glass milk bottle for my counter top - it would look much better WITH a new countertop!

Today is work of course, a training and that's it....been nice without student's on campus....just a different environment! I am going to get busier - I met with my super, then with our lead, looking for more responsibility - our new positions are evolving and I am not good at being a follower and asked for more of MY own responsibilities........well, they took me seriously and weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......I am happy though - our lead is being overwhelmed. She is younger and they are grooming her for bigger things, and I love her to death, but she is struggling a bit and I am willing to help out!!

Debbie - I hope today is a better day for you!

I am supposed to have tomorrow afternoon off since my parents were supposed to be here - I may keep it or may save it for when the weather is better......not sure what I will do.

Have a good Thursday ladies!!

Super windy here. Warm weather is gone. Hoping it is not raining in Va Beach as it is supposed to here this week.

Being sick so close to the race has me worried. I need to get better. I didn't wake up with a killer headache so that is good.

Cindy, are your patents OK?? Did you figure out a gift for your mom??

Cindy-Happy Birthday to your mom!

Debbie-Unfortunately they are calling for rain both Saturday and Sunday. However, you just never really know.

Have to scamper. Lots to do today!

Will try and pop in later!

Happy Pi Day!

Just finished day 6 of the couch to 5k workout! Go ME!

I love living in a small town, I loaned extra bikes to a friend's DS20 who is home for spring break with friends from the east coast. I plopped down in my backyard on the phone with my mom and I heard, "Mrs. D, Mrs D" the boys were returning the bikes before they have to fly back to school. Of course flylady makes my house more presentable so I'm not panicked when people drop by and they feel welcome to drop by. I don't know that the house would get picked up every day if we didn't have drop in friends (usually kids) on a somewhat regular basis.

I need to get cleaned up and on with my day. Dinner needs to go in the crockpot because it will be one of those afternoons AND I ran out of lunch meat yesterday. I was feeling like a nice mommy this morning and offered to bring a hot lunch to DS15 at school instead of PB&J so...

Go Kelly!

I don't mind running in rain but the standing around at the start isn't fun. I will pack big trash bags. I am not going to be racing well being sick. Still have a sore throat, headache, cough and fatigue. Will head back to bed soon. Doing some laundry. Read papers and did some Internet surfing. I love Pinterest. Not that I have cooked much the last few weeks.

Need to go take ibuprofen for my head. Not sure I will work tomorrow if I still feel yucky. I start out ok in the morning but tire and feel worse as day progresses.

I am ready for this to end. Want to go buy cough syrup but don't want to go out.

Good grief! Started typing and then something happened and my post got deleted! What's up with that?

Debbie-I love Pinterest too! I try not to go there too much though unless I'm looking for something really specific. Otherwise I will be there all day instead of hours! lol!
Feel better soon!

Kelly-What a good mom! It would have been pb&j here for sure! LOL!

Hope you all are having a wonderful day! Off to finish up some laundry, finish getting supper together, whip cream for my pie (it's National Pi Day! I found a recipe for a gf crust and made a chocolate cream pie!), and then off to bells! Whew!

I'm in the snack bar at the HS swim meet & popping out to watch DS15's events. He already swam the 100 & 200 free & just has the 50 back left. He is slow so he'll swim JV for a while.

Jenn, there was a little selfish I don't feel like going in the kitchen & packing lunch this morning. Normally I wouldn't give him the option & he would get PB&J from me too. I knew what he would want when I asked him.

Debbie, I could go crazy on gf treats too its just better not to have them around.

Feeling better but took today off. I find I feel worse or more tired later in the day. I stay in bed till 10am.

I am packing for my two days away. Less headaches but still coughing.

Need to go find some gloves and a few other items to pack.

Jenn, appears it will rin tomorrow but not Sunday.

Kelly, it is quiet here.

Becky had a mom emergency yesterday. Her mom fell and had to go to the ER. She posted on FB.

Agh! I'm waiting for life to get better! All we need now is for Brad to mess up again! Or maybe we want him to!

I has taken mom to the salon for her perm and she went down the 2 steps ok but then lost her balance. Sometimes a cane is a hindrance cuz her balance is on it moves with her as it did yesterday. I'm gonna ask ER if she thinks a walker is a better option right now. She's opposed to a walker cuz she thinks it made my aunt fall so mich but when were out it would give her more stability and be easier for me. It's a pride issue but sometimes there's options you have to do. I'm almost certain that she still has dads walker. The elderly parent is a worry!

The walker won't work on stairs. I would walk with her on stairs.

Walkers are more stable but only when they use them.

Debbie, I go with her on steps. I've done that for a whole cuz of her sight, I keep praying Kim never has to do this with John and I! I saw mom do it for her mother and I don't want Kim to so it. U never know but I can pray, right?

Hi!

Exercised today, then ran errands, dog walk, friend walk, dog nail trim . . . .
library, grocery, credit union . . . .

Debbie - I started taking glucosamine and using some protein powder.
Maybe i'll start finding some energy!
Do you use supplements?!

Becky!! I didn't know! I hope your mom is OK!!
We're having the same issues with my MIL.

Jenn - how was the pi pie?!

Debbie - good luck with the race! I would probably skip if I was still coughing!

Cindy - What did you find for your mom? Did you take the day off?

Kelly - you're such a good mom! I'm sure DS15 appreciates you!

Since he's a 15y/o boy, I'm not sure he even notices anyone that isn't a 15y/o girl.

Becky, I hope your mom is okay!

Debbie, glad you're starting to feel better. It would be hard to run if you can't breathe very well though!

to everyone else, I need to toss the towels in the dryer and finish the odds and ends I started hours ago.
