Hi all!

Ailuros, at least you're still losing! And if you are happy with what you're doing, then it's all perfect!

Well, my headache went away after I popped a paracetamol (only available in Spain at that dosage without a prescription, LOL) that could cure an elefant of headaches. The dinner was fun, got to catch up with some industry colleagues whom I'd last seen a year ago and got to eat delicious steak as well!
Just finished one meeting today, and have another one at 2pm.
Tomorrow I've got a dentist appointment, for my check up and cleaning. Usually not too bad!

M/E still going strong, my menu is:

B: BPC, no time for anything else because of the meeting
L: eggs and some kind of meat maybe. Or maybe tuna...
D: ground beef/pork cooked in butter

Have a good day everyone!

Ailuros, how lovely to see you, and a pound a month is fine, as you say, it has to be sustainable. When do you go?

I always used to buy the stronger Paracetamol and Ibobrufen in Spain. Time I went back!

Glad you enjoyed you day, hope the dentist is easy. With the DE and oil pulling it should be brilliant.

I’m going to France in about three weeks. Before then we’ll have a few days with my parents over Easter.

Hi Ailuros, bet you are looking forward to your hols. I'm off to the UK in 4 weeks, for a wedding and the usual visits to family and friends. Really looking forward to it but hope the weather improves!

Mim, glad M&E is going well. Have to confess I've fallen off the wagon - not sure what's wrong with me, think it's the studying - leads me to boredom eat

Shy, tell me about it - even over here the shops are FULL of easter eggs - and I'm a sucker for easter eggs, I know it's the same chocolate at twice the price, but I have always loved the join between the two halves, where it's thicker, haha! The goose sounds far more low carb friendly!

Lola, how was your London trip?

Mint, how's Paul McK going?

Jan, how are you? Still on modified 5:2?

Kissa, no need to ask how 5:2 is going for you, haha!

Juno, what fun and frolics have you been up to?

Blondie, still crazy busy? Humid today isn't it?

I'm sure i've missed someone, sorry!

Have a great weekend all - just boring old study for me - but only 1 week to go, yay!

It’s about 2º today, and we have no heating. Not feeling very spring-like yet!

Ugh. That doesn’t sound much better. I wonder if we could work out a way to do an exchange, so we could both have something around 20?

Yes Ailuros it is bitter today isn't it? Sorry you have no heating, after this past winter I sympathise, thankfully all systems are 'go' here just now.

I can see the forsythia in bloom from my window, so I suppose the Spring must be here just wish it felt more like it.

Our ground floor has had two radiators working out of five all winter, so it will be worth a couple of days without heating to get it all fixed so at least we’ll be set up for next year! I started trying to get it done about a year ago, but plumbers kept disappearing.

OMG, I remember that last year. Hope it all gets fixed this time. We had to go and buy a blower heater, a very expensive way to keep warm but worth it.

I’ve got one electric heater. It’s just about OK until the workmen wander through opening all the doors! Anyway, after tomorrow there should be plenty of warmth!

No bath tonight, though .

Hello all, just to say I am still alive - just - première on Saturday, dress rehearsal this evening after an entire week of 10-2, 6-9 or 7-10 rehearsals, with props managing to unexpectedly double in weight ARGH, and a concert of Brazilian stuff to keep me busy tomorrow evening. No brain left over = no personals... Keep well everyone, speak soon!

Hi All!

Juno: Break a leg!

Ailuros: keeping fingers crossed for you that cold will be gone soon... The case of the disappearing plumbers sounds like an exciting victorian crime novel!

Blotto: good luck on the studying! And you'll get back to that wagon once the stress is gone I'm sure...

Cindy: glad all systems are go for you!!!!

Everyone else: sorry for the unpersonals, am swamped at work.

Dentist was fine as usual this morning. I'm blessed with strong teeth, and so far I'm cavity and problem free... Dentist praised my WOE, and said that this is probably why I'm so tartar free as well! (I thought that was enough for one visit, I'll tell her about my oil pulling next time in 6 months if it is another praiseworthy checkup)

My menu today:

B: ground meat from last night
L: hardboiled eggs
D: ground meat again, maybe with a touch of mayo and feta...

Ailuros, a weather swap to even us out would be great! I hear there's a whole load more snow in the UK? Eek, please go away by 19 April!

Mim, well done on the 10/10 at the dentist!

Kissa, is the blossom out yet? What about the daffs or has it been too cold? I miss spring flowers.

Juno - best of luck! Busy as ever, enjoy!

Hi Shy, Lola, Mint, Jan, Blondie and everyone else!

4 days to go til my exam - can't wait to get it over and done with now - bring on the champagne, haha!

We haven’t got the snow here, just the cold weather. But they fixed the radiators, so at least the house is warm now! Actually I think I tolerate the cold better than I’d handle your heat.

Good luck with the exam — I missed the background, what is it in?

Kissa - Snow and flowers blooming???!

Ailuros - So glad your heat is fixed! A weather swap would be nice! I'm not ready for the heat just yet, But I do tolerate the heat much better than the cold!

Blotto - Good luck studying. We'll have breakfast be for you go n hols!

Mimosa - Totally feel you on the work! Great dental report!!!!

Juno - and

Shy - Yup, Easter is around the corner. Thankfully, I never liked those chocolate eggs!

Things are starting to really pick up speed at work. Which is good and bad. It shows that people are starting to trust the process and use itm but also makes a ton more work for my team! We'll be pushing for a salary upgrade next month!!!

I'm feeling quite homesick at the thought of all the spring flowers - I'm glad I'll be home in a few weeks.

Ailuros, it's an investment exam for work - boring but will be great for my CV if I pass.

Shy, I'll try to bring some warmth home with me for you.

Blondie, hope you're keeping your head above water. Yes, breakfast will be great!

Hi everyone else!

Well, good luck with it, and I hope it gets you lots of promotion!

I noticed some daffodils yesterday, but the temperature was “0, feels like -6” and the poor daffodils were looking very blown around!

Lovely weather today. Had a fire drill this morning. Was lovely to get out of the office and out in the sunshine for a bit. Then had a meeting at HQ this afternoon so had to make that long walk! Not complaining at all. Soon enough it will be too hot to enjoy these walks!

Blotto - How does Sat. April 6 sound for breakfast? BTW, Clara says hi and she is looking forward to seeing you again.

Hi everyone,

Still absolutely freezing her in the UK and more snow expected tomorrow arghhh..but hopefully won't settle.

Shy: Sounds like you need to move somewhere warm permanently he he

Blondie: Go gal with salary increase...if you're doing more work you deserve more dosh.

Mimosa: Lucky you with the dentist...actually not my teeth but my gums that cause me all the stress and I am getting to the point of almost saying I.m not gonna bother to go. All this poking around with the hygenist really hurts not only my mouth but my pocket and I wonder is it really doing good or bad. Like once they have got hold of ya they don't let go.

Blotto: Not long to go now...what a horrible day to have an exam the equivalent of our weekend. Anyway I am sure you have stuffed as much information into your brain as one possibly can and hopefully it will be a breeze. Hmm homesick..that will soon wear thin once you are back here for a few days lol.

Mint: Good to see you around - how is Paul McKenna going? Haven't seen many entries in your diary. Hope that it's working for you.

Juno: Leading as crazy a life as ever..but I love it!

Ailuros: Hope that you are doing OK...not many spring flowers showing their heads our way.

The theatre last week was absolutely fabulous. Loved the story, costumes and the whole things. It was show called Wicked and it was absolutely wicked.

Off to work today but hopefully be quiet as lots of people on holidays and I may well be in the office on my own for most of the time. Lots to catch up with so good quiet time I hope.

Work again tomorrow and then long weekend for us here in the UK but don't think weather will be same as last year when we were bbq ing...its crazy here.

Didn't sleep too well last nite awake at 3pm and couldn't get back off again. Arghh. DS was waiting at Hong Kong airport for flight home so spoke with him on the phone for half an hour to pass the time lol.

Still JUDDDing every other day and holding steady at 65.5kg...now so happy. slow progress but if I keep going down and not up I am happy.

Have a good one whatever you doing.

Hi all, just a quickie from me, exam is this afternoon - and then you won't hear from me all weekend as I'll be partying, haha! Please all give me a kick next week to get me back on the dieting bandwagon.

Sorry no personals!

Thank you, Shy. My father’s not doing very well. He’s just given up driving, and they’re moving to just living on the ground floor of their house. I found a photo of him about four years ago mowing the lawn. It wasn’t that long ago!
