Wow I had a busy 2 days. Now going to start my Chili. DH volunteered me enter the chili cookoff this Saturday. I rather go around tasting it all and voting Going to make my Buffalo Chicken Chili instead of my regular one.

Deb ss to hear about your DS, but he's still young and stubborn. He'll come around. And when he goes through breakups he'll start to understand how life is. Bet those roses are beautiful, he's so loves you.

Pat they tried the ointment on DH but it didn't work because DHs are deep. His are caused from his antiregection meds. Lucky this time they were all Basel cell. Sounds like winters coming your way. I remember you saying that you stayed in the back when the blow hard. There saying more snow for us tonight around 8-10.

Tx how did you make out with your seedlings, hope they all made it. This year has been so strange the way it's hitting everyone.

Deb~Glad UR feeling a bit better. Sunshine helps along w/LB being so sweet to you!

Misty~Cooking chili yet? Sounds Yummo! How many basal cell lesions did they shave off of DH?
We still are having snow showers & wind here. Glad to have DH around to do the snow removal/shoveling.

Laura~Sleeping in & 70 makes for a nice AM.

Well, just hanging here. No Yoga class yesterday due to the weather. It was a whiteout here! No Yoga class again today cuz I don't feel like it!
Was on a cancellation list @ the dermatologist's & they called me yesterday afternoon to see if I could make it in. We had a break in the weather so, I went for it. I had a few moles shaved & some cryotherapy on a few Keratosis' off my body. So...Not feeling like rolling around on the floor doing Yoga today!

Such a beautiful day again today, finally out for nice walks. Now if the snow would melt. But the good things the weather doesn't show any in the near forcast.

Pat made the chili for the cookoff but couldn't go because my Rocco got sick and spent the day at the Vet with him. But he's doing alot better. Glad you made it to the dematologist very important to do. Yikes shaving them off sounds painful. Dh has his cut out and then they just have to stitch up. His poor body looks like a road map.

Laura are you on the work schedule for this week? Glad you have beautiful weather. Yummy chicken wings, I need to make some. I've been making that Taco soup that you make, I could eat it everday.

Deb wow nice treat, new furniture is great.

Cheryl did you go to the lake house this weekend?

Glad you are having nice weather too It's just a beautiful day here. Dh is on the couch, can't convince him we need to go to the park or something ! It's our last day off. We start back tomorrow. Spring break here. Hope everyone has something else to do besides hang out in the ER
Well, sorry Rocco was sick, better now ? Are you going to freeze all that chili ? Going to make the ranch wings later.....made the heroin wings the other day and didn't care for them.

Deb - so exciting to get new furniture ! is tummy better ?

Being lazy for now.
Just read the thread - about weirdest things that ever happened to you? Interesting stuff......kinda weird though.......

Laura how do you do the ranch wings, is it with the powder ranch dressing? I love ranch in the bottle, I dip everything in it especially celery. Helps keep me full between meals. Yes freezing some of the chili and sending the rest to DS Wednesday.

Deb how's the tummy, did you party to much at the casino

Mouth watering ;.....they are almost thawed out...... Making jalapeno poppers to go with them. :0 ok now drooling on shirt !! haha !

Park was so nice. Took my phone and jammed to 80's rock ! Old lady here....

Well after a month of feeling like a zombie, back to the Dr. Got new sleeping meds he said I can I can cut in half or 1/4 if it is too much he had me on Ambien CR and amitriptylene. Way too much. At the end I was only taking 1/2 the amitrip and still daytime zombie. But not sleeping well. Now I am on regular Ambien. A little foggy but not bad this morning. And I slept pretty good. All my other tests came back pretty good. Still have osteoporosis- no surprise- and started new med for that. He said it is in my back. Kidney function was 65% not great but considering my history and probable scarring not so bad. He also wrote an RX for Vit D. It was low and may contribute to my fatigue. So... Energy on the way! I did some squats, wall push ups and wall sits. See what happens.

Cheryl sounds like the Dr may be going in the right direction and you'll start feeling normal again. I'm sure it takes awhile to figure out the right meds for your sleep. Dr put me on Vitamin D last winter because I was so tired all the time and after a few weeks it did wonders. I go off them in the summer when we get all the natural sunshine. great job on getting your exercise in.
Rocco's been really acting sick for a few weeks, then he starting falling all the time and couldn't go to the bath room, so off we went for a complete physical with ultra sound and exrays. He's on all kinds of meds but he has the twinkle back in his eyes and I feel alot better. Now all the kids have left home he's my only baby left. Told Dh I think it's time to retire him from the FD.

Deb poor Buddy hope his leg gets better. How old is he? He could be getting arthritis. Put him on Glucosamine joint care for pets, after a few weeks he'll be running around like a pup, it works wonders. I buy mine at Wal-Mart. Good idea on putting extra carpet down for him. We got to keep are boys healthy.

I'm hoping it all helps and I quit being a couch potato.

Poor Rocco. Sounds like its retirement time if he won't miss it.

Keep us informed on Rocco and Buddy.

Ok here's what I'm trying now. Back in my nursing school days we studied diabetic exchange diets. Pretty old school but they are a pretty balanced way of eating. So I am doing a 1200 calorie diabetic diet. I may exchange a couple starch exchanges with protein exchanges. I am keeping track of everything on my calorie count app.

Slept half decent last night. Lots of waking between 2-4. But still better. And hardly any morning hangover. So may e between the Ambien and Vit. D I will see an increase in energy and decrease in weight.
