I don't think I get much wheat in my diet. I don't eat bread except the occasional pizza. No cereal. Only gravy I eat is the natural juices. Oh and spagetti once in a while. Where does it hide?

everyone! It was a beautiful weekend here and I got a lot of work done in the garden. Harvested some veggies for tonight's supper, too -- radishes, carrots and green onions. We had fried (yeah, I know, but they were soooo good! ) oysters, and frozen purplehull peas from last summer's garden, along with the fresh veggies.

Cheryl, yes, we are snowbird country for both the feathered and featherless kind! We have even met people from the other Victoria -- the Canadian kind. They said they saw our whooping cranes up there in the summers and down here in the winters!

Have a great week, everyone!

CJ~Happy Belated 34th Anni! I will prolly be watching TV on our 34th too! I sleep on & off most nights too. Hate it! What is your Rx? I take Ambien when I really Need some Zzzz. Sometimes 4 to 5 nights in a row. The rest of the nights I take calcium & a melatonin.

Misty~How was me day? Lucky Rocco getting prime rib! That's Kewl that you snowboard w/GD on that bunny slope! Not much snow in our yard. We even have bare to the ground spots! Ski resort where I ski still has a base depth of 86 to 106".

Deb~Yeah, it is amazing how much wheat is in most pkg'd/canned products! I make Flax meal bread & the 1MM w/my flax. Sounds like you need a food processor instead of a blender.

TC~Fried Oysters... Tex is definitely a bird sanctuary in the winter months.

It snowed an inch or 2 yesterday. Just enough to make the roads messy & dirty up my Car. Scale about the same. Ho-hum. At least it's not up today. I had a baked tater w/my NY steak & a glass of Cabernet last night. Sure did taste Great!
Off to Yoga in a bit. Tomorrow is my day off. Going Skiing instead.

Got all my chores done today, so after dinner the night is mine. DH has to go for out patient surgery to get the skin cancer remover again. So wanted to get everything done because I have to work Wednesday and then lunch with the girls.

Tx I love fried oysters Miss fresh vegis, our farmers market will open up in May. I won't get anything from my garden until July but I start all my seedlings in the house so I can get a jump start.

Cheryl is it meds that's making you so tired? Yup Rocco got his own prime rib and carrots. He gets it every year, this year I was shocked some of the guys didn't show up and DH brougth be a whole dinner. So good.

Deb there are a few thread on here for all kinds of things to make with flax, I know I have them in my favs somewhere I'll look for them for you.Yummy things too. Let me know how that rice is, I never heard of it.

Pat lucky not much snow, I can remember you posting pics and you had tons. Ya when I snowboarding with GD all the guys from the FD watch me fall a zillion times But my snowpants are really padded.

Laura how you doing? Hope your throat is better and that your not home sick.

The Big Wind started up around 1:30a...I didn't feel like getting up & moving into our guest room. So, Suffered! Thought I could deal w/the wind & just let it move over me like a cool bath of water.... What was I thinking?! Dang Yoga Meditation makes me think I can manage anything outside of my environment! NOT!
Anyway...we R supposed to have up to 55mph gusts all thru the nite! I will be moving to our guest room!
Snow showers all thru this week!

Nope...didn't go Skiing 2day w/my GFs! Too Dang A windy!
Instead, Did Hazel chores & have a pork roast in my Slow Cooker. Smelling Good in here.
Oh, cleaned up all of our remote controls/phones/cells & keyboards today! I must have used @ least 16 Q-tips & some cotton balls?!

Deb. We're all thinking about you and wishing happier times for you.

Rbenz, we had some strong winds here this morning, now it's going to get to near freezing tonight! I hope I don't have to replace my graden transplants again!

TC~Hope your transplants hang on!

It's Blowing & Snowing here! Burr-cold! Might have to cancel my yoga today. Had to sleep in our guest room last night due to the wind gusts slamming against the other side of our house! The house actually shook & the roof creaked a few times!

WINDS: SOUTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH. SIERRA
RIDGE GUSTS UP TO 95 MPH.

* IMPACTS: SNOW WILL PRODUCE SLICK DRIVING CONDITIONS AND RAPIDLY
CHANGING VISIBILITY ACROSS THE BASIN TODAY AND TONIGHT.

We live on a Ridge!
