ok, I was still at 145.5 this morning. I am still in ketosis, eating the same as I did in week one so I will not freak out and eat a bag of chips. I will not freak out. I will not freak out. I will be patient.

Don't get discouraged Olda! Drink more water. Maybe you're just retaining. Stay strong.

I'm sooo in the same boat as you though. lol

I was 178.8 this morning, so only down 2 ounces. I drank smooth move tea last night, so I was really expecting the scale to move down more than 2 ounces!!!!!

I'm trying not to get discouraged because at least the scale is still moving down, but I was really hoping to be 175 by Thursday and I don't think that's going to happen if my losses continue at this snail's pace. I'm going to drink a TON of water today and hope for a nice whoosh tomorrow morning.

Fingers crossed for both of us. The key is for us both to stay strong, otherwise the scale won't just be stuck...it will move UP! No bueno!

FF - I know you finished the last round so are you on another one now? I forgot when you said you were doing another round. Or are you just trying to get well into the LDW? You're doing so awesome and I wish I was there with you!

LCL - yikes! I sometimes get on the scale before I go to bed just to see how much it fluctuates by morning!

No Belle, I'm not doing another round yet. Just trying to lose a little more weight by the end of the month cause I'm going to a wedding and I want to look better in my dress. lol

I think I'm starting another round of Hcg at the end of June.

Hey ... Don't have a lot to say...

Good going Olda and FF being in the 140's and 170's! I would be so happy to be in the 140's!!!! I can't even imagine it any more...

I haven't been able to break into the 160's for about a year I think. I made it then went right back up.

The first time I lost on LC was for my wedding 9 years ago ... I lost 40 pounds in about 6 months. Now I can't get the weight off in 6 YEARS!!

What is with that!?!?

I started Low Carb 2 years ago and am down less than 20 pounds. there are people who lost 100 pounds in 8 months. lol, I think for me I just want to live without thinking about it and I cant.

I lost 30 pounds in 3-ish months in 2000...from 155 to 125. I maintained 25 of those until I turned 40 After 2003 and several horrible years of stress and drama...I ballooned up to the 160s. Went on LC to take the weight off and gained!!!!! that's when I tried hcg (I sound like a commercial, don't I?
I lost to 150 the first round...and have been as low as 133 in subsequent rounds...but ugh...lingering in the high 140s again

Age DEFINITELY has a lot to do with it! I was just talking to a friend about how when we were in our 20's we could stop eating for a day or two and lose 5 pounds like it was nothing, now...not so much.

So TRUE! I see people lose tons of weight in MONTHS all the time on these boards...and here I am struggling for years and years. lol I have to admit though, it's totally my fault. I get on a roll, and then I go on vacation or a holiday pops up and I go off plan, and then it takes me forever to get back on plan and by the time I do I've gained all my weight back. Let's hope this summer I'll finally hit goal and not repeat that vicious cycle.

You look amazing in the 140's though Beach. I can't even imagine how smoking hot you are when you're in the 120's! You're totally making me realize I need to get to my goal weight and stay there before I hit 140 too! I don't know how I would handle it if it was even HARDER than it already is right now to lose weight.

I am not weighing in this morning. I have no desire to know what a blob of spaghetti squash weighs in your stomach. I will wait til tomorrow or Friday.

Many Many moons ago my dad taught me a lesson. "If you hate doing something, only do it once" At the time, I was a teenager and he was talking about waking up in the morning. I only wake up once now (and for the past 30 years). Only recently did I think to apply it to getting to goal. So, I have decided to stick to plan, no matter what only this once... and get to goal. I am hoping I wont want to let my dad down.

Heres to a Good Wednesday for all of us!!!!

I would totally do the same thing, Olda. I'd wait until it comes back out before weighing. lol

As for me, down a few more ounces today to 178.4. These small losses suck. lol No chance of me hitting my 175 goal tomorrow but hopefully I'll at least be 177. Fingers crossed.

Maybe I am paranoid but it seems like the more active I am on here.... the less everyone else is!!!
Still not getting on the scale. I am eating way too much even if its on plan. Still in ketosis but feel gigantor. I dont want to get disappointed. I hope to drink tons of water and not eat much today.

So frustrated... Now I remember why I stopped LC!

I have been on plan and terribly good and what is my reward??? Two pound gain!!!

I hate the day to day fluctuations of 2-5 pounds. My belly feels flatter but then I get on the scale and feel fatter than ever.

Just want to give up.

I'm here....it has been hell at work. We have had several murders and it is keeping us hopping...plus just plain bat sh**8 crazy kids and families.
I am jumping back on hcg...I destroyed everything in the 3rd phase and no matter what I do...it isn't correcting so here I go again

Hey guys (gals.. )

Hope you are all well today. I went off plan a bit yesterday because of stress and sadness. Nothing is better today except I think I can stay on plan.

Olda: what are you doing for your vacation? You probably already told us, but I am too lazy to look back at past posts
I hope you have a great time whatever you do.

Good luck to you all with keeping on your plans... I will need some luck today for sure!

I am thinking of starting a cake business on the side to make a little more money (and I love making people happy with cake!). But I don't know how I would do that LC! I would like to develop some new recipes because right now I have only perfected one type of cake flavor.
I guess one bite is all I need to tell if it is good ... Then my husband and kids can tell me their opinion.

I would LOVE to have a local person to buy cakes from. I think its a great idea. After all this cancer crap.... the idea of a cake from Costco with god knows what ingredients freaks me out a bit.

I am driving Skyline Drive. I know nothing about it. DH is the one deciding on this. We have a camper and will drive and camp. I will be trying to organize low carb meals for the trip.

How long do you "load" for this HCG thing?

Had a bowl of broccoli for dinner... no protein. Too tired to cook anything else.

Come onnnnnnnnnnn. Had broccoli for dinner. Went for a 2.5 mile walk with my niece and jumped on the scale before I went to bed. 145.5. So I got excited. I could only weigh LESS by this morning. Went to bed with a bottle of water. 146 this morning. Makes no sense. I am cranky and hate everyone. So there.

VLCD1 - 152.7 Biking...was going for biking to work but didn't give myself enough time


So...didn't gain a ton....I will take it. I feeeeheeheeel like crap I am so glad the loading is over and I feel crappy...it's going to make today go easier. Green tea today (jumping off coffee again) and my WONDERFUL DD gave me Zen green tea (love the stuff )
Eggs and I'm not sure if I will eat fruit or juice the rest brought fruit just in case
Have to work today I feel SOOOO fat

Olda....makes no sense does it
