Woke up late for work and had to travel to Albany with coworkers. Didnt get on the scale this morning and had to eat every meal at mcdonalds. OMG. An egg mcmuffin (no muffin). a double cheeseburger (no bun) and then 2 double cheeseburgers (no bun) Man oh man. It may be on plan but think its the first time I ate all 3 meals like that. I will be checking my alarm better from now on so I can have breakfast and bring a lunch.

Fingers crossed for the scale tomorrow.

Yay Olda! You're totally back in the groove now! Good for you!

I weighed in at 181.8 this morning! Yay! So I'm below where I was last weekend before going away, and I'm only 1.2 pounds above last dosage weight. Liquids only again today in hopes of getting back to last dosage weight (or below) by tomorrow.

Feeling good again in my clothes. Of course I'm 15 days away from TOM again, which means I have about another week to enjoy this slimmer feeling before PMS hits and makes me feel like a big fat cow again. I swear, sometimes it really sucks being a woman.

lol I am so glad other people feel like that. On plan and down like 4 pounds and feel fat as a house. Proof positive I may never be happy.

hahaha! You will be happy Olda. I find that it's the 10 pound mark that usually makes me start feeling great. Then I get used to that number and then I start feeling fat again. lol I tried FOR MONTHS to get where I am right now, and here I am totally unsatisfied. Now, I think Oh man...when I get to 171 I'm going to be the happiest girl in the world!

And watch, once I get there and stay there for a few weeks, I'll be like..ugh...I'm so fat. lol

my husband just found an egg (from an easter egg hunt) filled with jelly beans and handed it to me. I opened it, ate the jelly beans without a thought. UGH. I dont even like jelly beans

hahahahahaha! You should do what I do, Olda. I tell my husband we can't have sex until I lose 10 pounds. Needless to say, he's WAY supportive of my diet. lol

I have never had a beet. I am scared of them for some reason. lol

180.6 today, so back to last dosage weight, and hopefully this means the 170's are tomorrow. Gotta stay strong today!

Fine! you two make me sick!!

For no good reason...I'm up 2 pounds 7 pounds above LDW

I am really proud of you two, really

I am trying to keep going...I'm back to that "don't know what I should be eating" phase

Beets are yummy...just don't do all the greens and peel the beet...otherwise it tastes like dirt. Keep the juice simple...I do beet, carrot, pineapple or apple are really good.

Beach....can I just tell you that after my weekend away last week....I weighed in at 187???? I wanted to die! And I think the fear of hitting the 190's again scared me back on to plan and luckily the weight came right off super fast. So, try not to beat yourself up. Just get back to low carb today...and it will all come off again soon!!!!

I'm hungry. And I have a dilemma.

Basically I've been living off of coffee, water, and tea all week to get off the weight I gained last weekend. And it worked. I'm most likely going to hit 179 tomorrow morning, fingers crossed.

DH just asked me if I want to go out to eat tomorrow night for Mother's Day. And I REALLY do. I want a nice steak! And asparagus! BUT, because I haven't eaten all week I'm afraid a steak dinner might make me gain. And I have an event on Thursday that I really want to lose a few more pounds for.

So, do I risk it and enjoy a nice steak dinner tomorrow night? Or...do I continue the rest of the week with a juice fast knowing that it will be worth it in the end because I'll lose a few more pounds and look and feel better in my clothes by Thursday?

So I decided to postpone my steak dinner until the end of the month. I have a wedding to go to in a few weeks and I need to lose 10 more pounds before then *fingers crossed* so I figured it's not worth it to go out for a steak dinner right now. Plus, when I go, wouldn't I rather wait until I can splurge on dessert too? The answer is yes! So I'll wait.

I'm going to juice fast all next week instead.

Olda, I am so so proud of you and happy for you!!!! You are kicking booty!

I'm terrified of the scale slowing down too because it's the only thing that keeps me strong enough to resist all the yumminess my family eats every night for dinner!

As for me, I'm 179.4 today!!!!!! YAHOO!!!!!! I FINALLY made it to the 170's!!!!! Please Lord let me never see the 180's again!

I was looking at our schedule of challenges, and it seems that our Bahama Mamas challenge was supposed to have started April 11th and ended May 30th. Since we're pretty much halfway through May already, I think we should just skip that challenge this year. We'll hang out here for a few more weeks, and I'll start the new challenge the day after Memorial Day. How does that sound?

Happy Mother's Day to all of you lovely ladies! Celebrate the day with your moms and children...NOT with carbs!

I knew this day was coming. Still at 145.5. Stayed on plan but ate a lot. Took a ton of pills to help get things moving and nothing. I am going to just going to imagine that it was 145.4 lol since I cant see the loss til the half pound.

Hey guys! I've still kept the several pounds I lost off from 2 weeks ago. Went out of town last weekend until Tuesday night. Didn't gain while I was gone. This week was rough for me with work and I didn't plan that great. I didn't lose anymore this week but I didn't gain either so I guess I'll take it. My plan this week is to stick to the 2 protein shakes a day and one sensible meal. Hopefully I can lose 3 pounds a week for the next few weeks!

olda - you're doing awesome! btw - I loveeee beets, esp in juice. It's really, really good!

FF - so happy you are in the 170s!!!!!!!! I know you are so excited! I wish I was there with you... So you're doing the juice fast this week right? Which juices are you drinking?

beach - I hope things slow down for you. This is our busy time of year and it SUCKS!

hahaha! I'm the opposite. I have to force myself to wait until at least 9:30 because if I weigh any earlier it won't be down as much. Which is weird, I know. It sucks when I want to drink coffee early but I can't because I don't want to drink anything until I weigh.

Belle, that's awesome that you went away on a girl's weekend and didn't gain weight!!! That has NEVER happened to me. I always gain at least 5. lol

I'm doing just green juices this week. I bought a bunch of carrots and I really want to try carrot ginger juice, but I'm waiting until after memorial day weekend to try out higher carb juices. I have too many events to look good for this month so I don't want to take any chances.

I was down a few more ounces to 179 exactly this morning. I sooooo wanted to be at least 178.8 today, but hey, it's only a few ounces, right? Plus I really need to go to the bathroom, so I'm going to make some smooth move tea this afternoon and hopefully that will help. We'll see tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Beach, we're holding down the fort for you. I know things are frustrating for you now, but you know it helps when you post here.
