Im in the No hunger zone right now and your right,ketosis does make a HUGE difference.I made myself sick by letting my calories/electolytes get to low yesterdayI had to hurry and get something in me...Im just not feeling very hungry(mentally).I been busy and before i know it the days over and ive hardly ate.

I know Kim. I am just like that when in ketosis. food doesn't even hardly come to mind other than all of the sudden I get a bit whoozy and have to eat....or all of the sudden I glance at the clock and think, wow I haven't eaten in SO LONG I love that feeling of food not even on my mind.

I also have a giant glass of lemon water with me at the computer. I am going to flush away the lbs haha

I was going to ask the same thing Adoug4ho.

Trigger i always get that hunger/craving the day after having more carbs. It soon will pass though once you go back to eating clean.

Cant believe Feb is almost over. This year feels like its going to fly by. Hope im down 100lbs by the end of it lol. x

I can't wait til summer. First day of summer. How much can we all lose?

June 21. Lets all go crazy and lose as good as we can up til June 21 and see how far we get!!

Hey Trigger great idea. I might have to go away with work at the start of June so that be a perfect challenge for me. Last time i struggled walking around and keeping up with people, this time i want to be soooo much more fitter. I am aiming to at least lose 21lbs by then, however i would love it if i lose so much more . Lets do this!!

Went out for dinner with family, however stayed clean and had chicken and salad. The scales showing a 2lb loss for it. Happy as i met my 2nd goal for Feb. Wanted 293 and i am currently 292.25 woohoo! x

GM, Everyone. My weight is down to almost 2.5 from yesterday. I think it's because I simply ate more. I payed attention to carbs not fat. I even had fried chicken last night and pulled off most of the skin. DH just looked at me. When he saw I only ordered to chicken legs, he gave me the wing from his plate so I could be fuller. Then i had two cheese cake bites that I made on Monday.

I haven't even seen the BM fairy yet..... But she should be here soon.


Do you ladies exercise any?

Hey Reta, well done on the 2.5lbs loss, thats brilliant. I love it when the scales starts moving down. At the moment I go swimming once a week and try walk more and try to keep busy at weekends. However for March i want to up it and go swimming twice a week with extra walking at weekends. Really want this weight to totally fall off in March. Do you do anything at the moment? x

OK focus. I am right there with you. I am shooting for 20 lbs also. Lets mark our progress and we will do well. you will be fitter and so will I


On a good note I dropped 3 lbs of bloat. while I want to say YEA HOORAY it just about got me back to 201.5. MY goal now is 198 as fast as I can.

Good Morning!

Congratulations to all you "losers"!!

Someone asked about exercise. I do an intense boot camp workout 4 days a week. It is SO hard, but what a sense of accomplishment and it changes your body in a hurry. Thinner thighs, back fat melting etc etc. I'm getting stronger too as I can do more push ups and hold the plank position longer. This morning we did boxing which is a great workout, but also fun. We don't box each other, we hit a heavy bag. Great for taking out frustrations!

I'm hoping to show another loss for the week. I sure feel like I will. Sometimes you can just tell, you know? I'm down 18.5 since Jan 5 and am hoping to get to 20 gone soon. Still in awe of Kim and losing 20 in the month of Feb!! It has taken me twice as long to lose that much! Great work Kim!!

BM fairy! I do need the BM fairy too, though!

My DH is eating all my fat bombs (at least he told me!) and says they are helping him. I am trying to add good fat to any lower fat meal as well.

Right now I don't exercise, but I plan to start after my cruise (just over 2 weeks away!)

The scale is moving in the right direction for me this week! I hit a new low today, 263.8, and I got the same reading 3 times in a row! I would like to be down around 60 lbs. total by my doctor's appt. in mid-May, and another 10 lbs. by mid-June would be great, so I will shoot to be at 230 lbs. by the beginning of summer. That would mean I'm keeping up the same pace I've been, around 10 lbs. a month. Would love to do that!

Hey, ladies. I used to workout 6 days a week, but was told I shouldnt/couldnt on LC so I havent really been consistant. But, I'm gaining inches, I will start back up tomorrow. I normally alternate cardio (dreadmill, kickbox, drills or step) with some form of weight training (high rep stuff or heavy weights.)

I will post here everyday and in my journal. I love a new month, its like I get a fresh start and gives me a renewed mindset to rethink things and make new plans or tighten up the old ones.

For those who workout, do you feel LC slows or stalls your progress?

Just come back from swimming. I love it!!! i really could swim all day if i could lol.

Reta even though i only do it once a week i have seen good loss the next day. It really motivates me to do more. x

I'm aiming for GOAL by June 21st.That would be about 26lbs in almost 3.5 months so 8lbs a month.I think it might be possible.

I do exercise as well. Just finished my Commit to Fit workout challenge from my trainer. 5 days of straight exercise and no alcohol. You should have heard the ladies complaining! It didn't/wasn't that hard for me

5 babies age 4 and under in my home AT the SAME time.lol...love em sooo muchbut think im a lookin like this about now (need a pulling out hair smilie).
Girls went out to Chinese today for lunch,one thing middle daughter really wanted to do while here,I opted out and kept 2 oldest granddaughters.We been watching Tinkerbell Fairies and doing each others hair...lol.
Menu today-pretty good so far.
B-coffee and a few cherry tomatoes,2 sticks celery,and a few salami slices
L-scrambled eggs w/ butter and cheese
D-eggs and cheese?
Been fighting allergies or a cold.ugh.Need to up the fluids today!

180.6. I thought I really ate crappy yesterday

Coffee w/ truvia and HWC
s. small Atkins bar
L. salad, 1/3 pound burger cooked in Co, a few almonds, a few porkrinds
s. porkrins, cheesecake bites ( a lot )
d. 1/3 pound burger, a few chocolate covered pretzels

I felt nauseated from the grease. But woke up at 180.6 After dinner, i was doubting my abiliy to continue his way of life. I felt like I blew it. But, I've got to be more forgiven of myself. This WOL works if you work it. I ate the 2nd burger to try and shut the cravings down and it worked. I was so full, I could only get a few of those pretzels in. Now, I'm glad I ate that 2nd burger. Obviously, I needed more fat to satisfy myself.

I did workout today. LIC for 40 minutes. Burning 636 calories.

I've never reached a weightloss goal. I hope this will be my month.

I'm starting off the month of March on the wrong foot. The dang scale was up 1/2 lb this morning. Official weigh in at boot camp is tomorrow morning and I'm hoping for a whoosh on the scale. If not, the dang thing may be flung out the window! Ok, rant over!

Hubby and I are going out for dinner tomorrow night and I'm going to eat whatever I want. Its time for a treat. I doubt I'll have dessert, but I'm going to eat a nice meal. I usually choose chicken Marsala........love it!! I like it over angel hair pasta. I'm drooling just thinking about it!

Boot camp was brutal this morning. I told our trainer that he's mean on Fridays! One of the girls said, he's meaner on Mondays! She's got a point!

Busy day at work & I'm glad. It'll go much faster when I'm busy!

no loss, no gain for me. the same, which is a good thing

ended up eating out. pizza place. had 1 topping off hubbys pizza, some buff. wings, big old salad.

just enough food to keep me from losing. sodium and 2 unsweet teas. talk about bloated up.


but today is no eating out. we are off in a bit for store to get some remodeling stuff for kitchen. told hubby NO EATING out as I am on strict cals. today.

ketosis kicking in and hunger is leaving. I can get into the zone now baby


everyone be on the good side. lets give summer a run for its money and shed some lbs.



Kim your goal is doable. I will shoot for 8 lbs a month right with ya.

Heres some menus-from this week

B-coffee black,16 oz Crystal Lite
L- 2 eggs scrambled w/ pat of butter on 1/2 lc tortilla w/ sprinkle of cheese-16oz Crystal Lite
D-6 salami rounds,6 small (dice sz) of cheese,6 grape tomatoes,6 celery stix,3 baby carrots,TBSP ranch-16 oz water
16 oz crystal lite

B-scrambled eggs on 1/2 tortilla w/ cheese and coffee
L-6 celery stix w/ ranch tuna salad and 16 oz water
D-same as dinner before

B-coffee
L-scrambled eggs w/ pat of butter,celery stix and water
D-Baconator and diet pepsi

B-1/2 atkins bar and coffee
L-small salad w/ ranch,scrambled eggs w/ pat of butter
D-20 goldfish crackers-water and cold meds

My calories are really low,but im fighting a head cold and in ketosis.Im not feeling hungry....
